April 2021 TTC Bus

Couldn't see a bus ready for April, so I thought I'd start one as AF has just made a very unwelcome appearance 😒

Quick intro - this would be baby #2 as we have a 2 year old DD, have been trying since Jan, so this will be cycle 4 for us.

Who's ready for some April BFPs? 😁

Last night I had some horrible dreams - a real pregnancy symptom for me! I took a test and got a faint line this morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@K8Tee AF due a week today and I already have itchy fingers wanting to POAS 🤣 I hope your grumpiness is just people being annoying and not PMT!

@LaurenNH Congrats! The pregnancy dreams are crazy, I remember them well 🤣

@chitter87 I was the same haha but now I only have 3 or 4 days to go and can test from tomorrow I haven't got any tests 😅

Update on my blood tests they confirmed I have ovulated this cycle!

I don't want to get my hopes up but I'm so relieved I have ovulated 😀

I should be 11DPO today not sure weather to test this weekend or not. DH is impatient and keen to test immediately 🤣

UDATE : AF due today no sign as of yet, took another FRER this morning & got a faint line compared to the FRER I did 2 days ago..😔 is this a chemical do you think?

How is everyone going to approach the Easter weekend and no one noticing you're staying away from alcohol if meeting friends? Anyone know of alco free drinks where the bottles look alcoholic from a 2m social distance? Xx

Do people buy frer from Amazon? They're supposed to be super sensitive but my one yesterday was negative and the faint line I had today was on a really cheap supermarket test!

@Sparklestars86 from last time I remember that apple juice and sparkling water looks just like Prosecco! Gin and tonic is an easy one too. I had my own wedding and two other people's hens during my first 9 weeks 😂

@LaurenNH I've actually heard that FRER are not as good as they used to be. The reviews on Amazon are terrible. A lot of false negatives lately. Maybe use another brand.

@Lcam2310 I hope not- good luck 🤞🤞. Could it just be that your urine was more concentrated the first test? I really have no experience though so others may be able to advise you better. The only positive pregnancy test I've seen in real life was my sister's but she was having twins so it was pretty much darker than the control line! It's so difficult isn't it 😕 xx

So heartbreaking 😢 how can you be pregnant one minute then not the next. I'll wait now for AF to show 💔 thanks so much for all your support on here xx

Hi again ladies, has anyone ever taken a digital test apart? I know you probably shouldn't and people say it makes it invalid but I've just watched a YouTube video of someone taking them apart , a non pregnant one , 1-2 weeks one and 3-4 weeks CB... so of course I've taken mine apart and got this! What do people think? Beyond confused 🥴🥴 the top line is the indicator and the bottom strip is the HGC one

@Lcam2310 if you've only just taken your frer peeing again would be quite dilute?

Hey ladies, jumping on from the march bus. Been very quiet lately, trying to keep my mind off the tww and stress less. Not really worked 😂 I'm 8/9 dpo and if my cycle is the same as the last 2 AF will be due Saturday. Used opks this month and got a definite peak on CD 15 so that's a definite positive, dtd on the 4 days running up to ov but not on the actual day (1st day back at work and was shattered!). A little worried my LP isn't long enough, no obvious AF symptoms yet (slightly sore boobs but not as sore as usual) & I normally spot a few days before. Suppose my cycle could be slightly longer this time? Anyone had a BFP with a short LP (10 days)? I'm cycle #3 ttc #1 and I'm 35 🙄

Joining from the March bus! Now in cycle #2 of properly trying for #2! I’m on CD8 with ovulation usually at CD14 so it will be a busy Easter weekend for us 😆

Got my period today finally after stopping progesterone. Fingers crossed that we have a BFP in 4 weeks 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Really sorry @LaurenNH, it's so uncertain in the early days :( hopefully just too early but try not to think about it for a couple of days ( easier said than done).
