Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

I'm in. I used CB ovulation sticks this month so feel like we hit the fertile period better compare to last month.

Currently on CD18 and got my peak ovulation on Monday and DTD a few times between then and now as well as a couple of times when the result was high so fingers crossed for this month as I don't want to risk labouring at Christmas time 🤣

How are you feeling? Do you think you'll be able to hold out on testing until AF is due? I have two FRERs I ordered last month which arrived on the day AF did so went unused. I obviously won't be testing right now but I don't know if I'll be able to resist testing early give they're there!

@ContadoraExplorer haha!! Hell no! I'll defo be testing early! I have cheapies just satisfy the urge, and loads of opks. Then I'll probably crack out an frer around 8dpo! But also depending on spotting and symptoms.

Sounds like you're in with a great chance. With lots of well timed BD. Is this baby number one for you? What month are you on?

#2 for us but we have been trying since October. Chemical pregnancy in the first month (stupidly thought it would be easy when I got that positive test!) but then my cycle has been all over the place since then so it's been hard to predict, hence forking out for the CB tests this month!

Good idea to have some cheapies hanging about, might get onto Amazon now so I don't waste the FRERs!!

Sorry about your chemical. It's bad enough that you lost the baby, even worse that I messes up your system to stop you getting pregnant again.

I had an mmc with my first pregnancy. And I was totally fairy tale Lala land! Didn't even consider I might loose the baby. It took about a year to conceive. Then lost at 8 weeks and took 3 months to conceive again. Then got a lovely surprise with the second so this time round I went into it all a bit smug! I assumed we'd just have sex once or twice and be pregnant!

Hopefully this is our month. I'm feeling good about it. Mother's Day AF/BFP for me. When is your AF due?

If only it was as easy as parents and health teachers made it out to be in their scare stories, eh? I think it must surely be fate for you with that date though! Breakfast in bed with a side of BFP please!

My AF is due 15th but has been coming at different times every month so we'll see. I'm tracking symptoms on Ovia and have a bit of back ache and cramps and so much gas (TMI!) but a) it's too soon for that and more importantly b) I had similar symptoms this time last month so probably means nothing.

Also TTC baby number 3. I fell pregnant so easily with my two DS's, one on the pill and one first month of trying! We're on 10th cycle for #3. I was very naive thinking it would be easy again. I'm POAS crazy every month so I'm definitely in

@Cakelaur hiya. Ur godsent 🙂 Im so new to all this. Just order a thermometer. Should arrive later. I also have the fertility app but dont no how to creat a graph. I can only see one, how do I populate to track bbt p/s. I can see yours has the temp, lines etc. Not sure how to do that. Thank you

Also ttc #3! Dd1 was conceived on the pill, dd2 on first month trying, I also got pregnant first month of trying in October but had a mmc at 7weeks. Pregnancy was so much easier in my 20s than 30s! This is now our first month of "we'll see what happens" since. Anyway I'm 3dpo now, ovulated cd12 which is within my usual bracket.

Af is due 15th and I will not test early!!!

@Lizbb see image... click on the data tab. And you'll see where you add in temp. I have the paid for ff, (it's like £20 for the year or something) so you can add resting heart rate and have a second line. If you flick through adding the temps in for each day, it will plot the lines automatically. And it will put the lines in once it's recognised a temp shift.

@ContadoraExplorer I bloody hope so. They're so many reasons it should be this month. (Ridiculous reasons)
The due date would be 21/11/21 I'm big on numbers... but also it's my dads 70th birthday!!
Plus it's the last month to give us 3 under 3
Plus it's Mother's Day for a bfp (and I already had Christmas Day ruined by the arrival of my period)

Ff recognised my temps as 3dpo today. A day later than I would have guessed. But a day earlier than my temps would say.. so happy days!! 3 dpo... AF due 14th!!! 🎉🎉

Yay @Cakelaur! I have no tests in the house and I've banned myself buying any until 14th earliest but I'm going to try mega hard to wait until I'm late.

@Cakelaur My boys are 5 (6 in June) and 2 and a half. I wanted a smaller age gap this time around but clearly that wasn't meant to be! 5 DPO today for me. Probably setting myself up for disappointment but I feel weirdly optimistic about this month for some reason 🤞

@Cakelaur thank u. Will that put the temp readings at the side of your graph as well or is that what I insert. So without the paid should it just have the one line. Camt wait to try tomorrow morning. Thanks again

I managed to do my BBT this morning. It's so hard to remember this time around because usually it's our DD waking us and my brain is all foggy. My temp was down again and I checked back to my last pregnancy and it was much higher at this stage. I also don't feel like I have any symptoms today, no backache/cramping when I had loads yesterday, is that weird? Can you have a positive OPK and then just not actually ovulate? THIS IS SO STRESSFUL!! (At a time when it's best to be calm as well )

Is anyone else feeling any symptoms at this point?

If you can't change the thermometer from F to C then you can always google "97.18 f to c" or similar and it will convert for you

@ContadoraExplorer it's so hard with kids. I've been up since 4am with my youngest, ended up bringing him in my bed at 5, slept til 6.30 when the big one woke, so was surprised my temp was similar to my last 2 days. But when a kid wakes it's not the first thing I think to do either!

4 dpo.. no symptoms (of course)... a bit of pulling and tugging, but that's about it.

How's everyone else getting on?

@Lizbb I'm not 100% sure. You may have to google. The other option if you can't change it, can you change your thermometer? Did you manage to put all your temps in?

@Glitterandcrimsonx that's great you feel optimistic! It's the best way to be. I'm not sure I feel optimistic, however I'm happy that weve litterally done everything we could do this month, we hit every corner, and so I'm defo relaxed with "what will be will be"

@dippyegg32 you're so strong. I have 4 frer and about 6 or 7 cheapies. I'm not sure how long I can hold out. AF due 14th. I won't test before 8dpo because I know nothing will show. Might start on Wednesday. But I'll see how I feel.

@Cakelaur @ContadoraExplorer you can google a bbt converter if you have to take your temp at a different time so it weights them all evenly

@dippyegg32 so I took my temp at the same time. I'd just woken up at 4am to the kiddo. But I didn't take my temp until 6.30 which is normal time.

But if you got out of bed at 4am the 6.30 would be invalid.

So I didn't get actually get out of bed. Hubby went and got him and we all went back to sleep. So I did wake up, but didn't really move. So yeah. Probably invalid, but doesn't really make much difference cos I've already ovulated. The temps in LP are more for fun for me. Cos I'll test before they can tell me anything anyway! 😂
Usually I would take my temp at the first wake up. I was too tired to even open my eyes today! 🙈

@Cakelaur hey hun. I figured it out. Yea recorded today. It was 36.44. Hopefully will be easy to get use to. Just wanted to change as I put it also in prem app and that has c. 🙂
