Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@SlothMamaToBe glad your appointment went well and interesting about DTD daily on sperm quality. I've also read your a little more fertile after a HSG. Fingers crossed for you.

@ContadoraExplorer glass your doing well and symptoms not too bad.

@polkadotpixie how are your temps doing? Did AF arrive for you. If not you're not until it does.

FF changed my ovulation date from CD12 to 13 this morning 🤷🏻‍♀️ so either 3 or 4 dpo today.

@SlothMamaToBe I got pregnant with DS a few days after my HSG after unsuccessfully trying for the previous 10/11 cycles, hopefully the same will happen for you!

@Unicornish Hopefully yesterday was an implantation dip if it's gone back up today 🤞

@LemonDrizzle44 My temp went back up this morning but AF literally just arrived 😩 On the plus side, I had a 10 day luteal phase for the second cycle in a row so I think the vitamin B6 & C is helping as it was only 8 days a couple of cycles back

Sorry to hear about af @polkadotpixie  I'm glad that the supplements are helping to lengthen your luteul phase though.

I've got a friend who had an HSG and then got pregnant v soon afterwards @SlothMamaToBe so fingers crossed that the same will happen for you.

Well my temps are following their usual pattern now and making their way down. I usually have my highest temp a week or so after ovulation and then they start falling. So, although I know that I'm not out until af shows up, my gut says this isn't my month.

Cd 15 bbt drop today so hoping today is the peak, also had some spotting yesterday after dtd not sure what to make of it... did anyone experience this mid cycle? Also my temp never went this low before, hoping to dtd today as well just to cover all bases if DH is upto it 😂

@SlothMamaToBe that's great about hsg have also heard lots of good things about it! How are you? The reflexology sounds amazing!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter my periods were messed up, light, had spotting days before my period and after my miscarriage for months. The GP weren't really much help, said it can be normal for hormone imbalances 6-8 months after a miscarriage. I did fertility acupuncture, my first period after it was heavy, painful, brown, clotted. I got pregnant the next month. I think maybe my hormones were really off and I wasn't having proper periods and proper ovulation.

Thanks @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I have had 4 acupuncture sessions so far but the last period was still light but hopefully my hormones will settle soon!

My BBT graphs looks different this month to last month (last month was slow to get started after ovulation then was really up and down in the luteal phase but this month has slowly risen) I don't know if that's a good thing or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I hope this means my hormones are finally settling down!

Also I'm only 4dpo so hard to tell but I'm just clutching at straws!!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter no I think it looks better, your temps are higher in the luteal phase. Higher luteal phase temps are meant to show more progesterone 🤞

I'm still in the most dispiriting part of my luteul phase. My temps always start dropping at around 7dpo, which they did again this month. Today, my temperature was on the cover line. I'm 9dpo and AF is due on Saturday but I'm half expecting it to show up early this cycle. Oh well.

@Unicornish hopefully it doesn't arrive. Maybe it's the heat messing everything up. I'm 11 weeks now just waiting for my scan at 13 weeks

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter just to add to PP's I was the same with AF being weird. It took almost 9 months to have a normal period after a CP last October and when it got back to normal I got the BFP. Your chart is looking great this month compared to last, nice steady rise and keeping high now 🤞🤞 it stays like that!

Thanks @ContadoraExplorer it's frustrating that it takes so long to settle back down but you hear so many stories if people falling pregnant the very next month! Obviously it's amazing news for those people but for the rest of us it puts even more pressure on when it still isn't happening month after month

I'm having a more relaxed attitude this cycle, eating and drinking whatever I want and that's making this cycle much more enjoyable! 😂

@Unicornish temp went up yesterday and down today... don't know what's going on with ovulation this cycle.. also had mid cycle spotting for the last 3 days... hoping to ovulate soon, both DH and I are exhausted at this stage ...here's my chart

When are you testing? As long as ur temps r above cover line u r still in the game.

So frustrating @Belle34! Ttc can be very tiring. Hope you ovulate soon.

I did a test this morning. I wasn't planning to, so it wasn't first morning urine, but it has the faintest possible line on it. To the point that I'm not sure if I'm imagining it. I can't get it to show up on camera either.

So I'll do another test tomorrow. I'm confused though because my temperature is still hovering just above the cover line at the moment. I don't have any symptoms so I'm wondering if it's either an evap line or a CP.

That sounds exciting @Unicornish I wouldn't worry too much about temps not being too high as long as they r above the cover line that's what matters. My sister apparently didn't have any symptoms either and she has 2 beautiful babies. I hope it's a start of BFP for you !🤞

Thanks @Belle34. It is early to have symptoms I know but with both DD and the pg I miscarried I started to go off food really early on. (I get hyperemesis when pregnant.)

I can't really let myself hope at the moment.

@Unicornish that sounds promising with the faint line 🤞🏻 with the pregnancy I miscarried I had zero symptoms and every month since then I have all the symptoms under the sun each month and always end up with BFN.

I had my 5th acupuncture session this evening. I'm trying to be really relaxed this month about it all because I know this might be a long journey. I even had a glass of wine tonight and I enjoyed every sip! 🙈😂 usually I don't drink in the tww but I just thought sod it! I can't live my life like that and miss out on the good times waiting to get a BFP!

Well, no hint of a line with fmu at 11 dpo today. No idea what happened yesterday!what a rollercoaster 😩

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter completely understand where u coming from, I am also trying this ttc to not take over my entire life as there's so much more to this. It will happen whenever it's meant to ...all we could do is just try and leave the rest to fate🍀

Great to hear from so many that hsg has had good outcomes! No idea when my appointment will be but expect it will be a long wait. I’m a bit nervous about the pain that some people get with it but hopefully will be ok.
@Belle34 I’ve had mid cycle bleeding a few times - just very light pink on wiping or spotting - usually on day I ovulate. I’m pretty sure it can be normal. How many dpo are you now?

I’m 7dpo and my temp been climbing up consistently last few days - obviously it’s bloody boiling at the moment which may be effecting it ? What do you guys think? I don’t want to get my hopes up too much but obviously end up getting a bit excited whenever there’s any good sign!!

Re: hsg a load of people had it on the 35+ thread and the tip seemed to be take paracetamol starting four hours before and it wasn't too bad.

@SlothMamaToBe still waiting to ovulate I think, maybe the vaccine I took last week could have delayed it. But still glad I took it as in the long run benefits outweigh the risks for now ... had no other side effects other than mid cycle spotting but this could have been due to other things u never know 🤔

That's a text book version of pre and post ovulation temps you have, those r looking great! when r u testing?
