scorpio night out was good - although I feel a bit like a beached whale - I'm so bloated and my waist seems to have disappeared.. sitting next to all my fantastically skinny friends isn't normally great for the self esteem at the best of times (but then again they aren't growing a baby )

DH picking it up after work, so i will see it at 5pm ish, but i have to go food shopping as soon as he gets home so he can training tonight. Will play with it this evening!!

We didn't get the buggy until after ds arrived - it was booked but not picked up. Didn't want to get that far ahead based on previous experience. In fact, generally left any shopping as late as possible - and basically bought hardly any clothes - didn't need too many and got enough given to us.

Will have to sort out an add-on picture option. [grins even more, imagining all those posh cars, mostly 4x4 with wavy scratch lines caused by Boudica add-ons to buggy] Mind you, ds could do quite a good line in stick dragging which could also be quite effective. Unfortunately never had stick at the right time....

Ready A 5 star hotel in Madeira sounds like just what you need. Still trying to pin DH down as to where and when we might go on holiday in the summer.

Well, DH got his semen analysis results yesterday and they're fine (in fact better than I'd expected, given his lack of interest in Zinc & a particularly healthy diet though he has made some effort). 18% morphology, 80 % motility (inc 42% rapid progressive). So why isn't it happening....(impatient emoticon!)I know I'm not the only one asking that question! If anyone would like some unopened packs of vitamins (think I have Sanatogen A-Z Gold, Zinc-ACE & Zinc + Vit C Redoxon), let me know. Don't think there's much chance I'll persuade him to take them now.

We had a lovely holiday in Madeira - there are a few really good taxi drivers who will take you on day trips and organise really nice lunch stops etc along the way.

Botanical gardens definitely worth a trip.

We went swimming in the sea, although its quite difficult finding appropriate locations and safe days - we went with the Pestana group and they have one hotel down near the sea with a sea water pool but with a bathing jetty out into the sea as well.

Fish market was an eye opener - and the normal market next door was also very interesting, although lots of people very keen on selling you things that you don't really want!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well this afternoon, we have just had a couple of dd's friends around for the morning and the place is trashed! I can't believe I bothered to tidy up and now you can barely see the floor!

I am surprised that the pram wars hasn't kicked off yet, you are all being very restrained!

All this talk of holidays...We are going for a week in a gite in the Loire Valley, France. Mills will be about 12 weeks old, but hey, thats fine. I do good French and their healthcare is fabola if anything goes wrong.

We've got a week booked in Scotland (west coast, dh intends to broaden ds's knowledge of seafood, and a week booked in Devon where we hope to spend more time on the beach than we did last year (I think we managed 15mins!)

We haven't gone abroad with ds yet - mainly due to his ear issues - we want to get that sorted out before we do any flying, and the idea of cooping him up on a train for x no hours really doesn't do much for me (mil thinks 'it would be fun')
