TWW anybody?

Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

Hey guys, how are we all?
I'm day 2 of full flow and wow it's ravaging me!

Met with friends yesterday, and guess what? Another pregnancy announcement! 🥺
I'm so so so happy for them though as they've been trying for 2 years so it's literally the most deserved in the world! Couldn't help have a little sadness though and i feel so bad about it?

We've decided we aren't temping or using opks this month, I'm convinced the stress of them bloody smileys/none smileys and taking my temp at 06:30 every day doesn't help? I have a good guide as to when I ovulate now so we are hopefully going to take a more relaxed approach?!

@LKB89 ah that’s annoying totally get it. That’s a good approach I think, totally agree the stress of the smileys is to much sometimes, like what the smiley tells me goes against what science says so doesn’t make sense! I don’t think I can handle temping! Last night of
DTD for me then a bloody break! So the wait begins! 😬

@LKB89 that’s a good approach, you have a good chance knowing when you ovulate and definitely being relaxed always helps.

@BCM2021 hope the wait goes quick for you, do you know when you’re going to test?

I’m AF full flow today but sun is out and I’ve had a good weekend so not feeling too bad. I’m going for more bloods tomorrow, which is testing for a load of things including thyroid function, etc. Will keep you updated on results.

@teateaandcoffee fingers crossed let us know how u get on,,, yes weather lovely! I’m going to try and wait until Sunday, around 5/6 days before period due, I spent a fortune on tests last couple of months ridiculous! I say that now though 😬! No symptoms of any kind whatsoever!

@LKB89 glad you had a good one :) That is the reason I stopped with the bbt, I would also sometimes forget to do it immediately (like going to the loo), or if I'd slept really badly so I couldn't trust my results anyway.

@teateaandcoffee hello! Ok here, absolutely zero symptoms boo! Testing on Sunday. Yesterday bearing in mind how warm it is I was freezing to the point of teeth chattering to the bone!! Was in layers but so cold! All day & night, gone today, don’t think that’s a good sign probably the opposite! How ru?

@teateaandcoffee Hey! I'm currently in fertile window, not using OPK's again, just going with the flow. I don't have time to breathe these days let alone trying to remember to use OPK's so just going to see how it goes again this cycle. It's my little ones second birthday on Monday, we're celebrating on Sunday so that's something to look forward to and take my mind off things! How are you? Do you have much planned this weekend? X

I'm ok, CD8 today, so AF has buggered off now and we go again!

Same @Confused678866 no sticks or temp taking this month, just going to see how it goes now without the added stress and if it doesn't happen then we'll have lots of holidays this summer 😉 (if bojo allows it)

I bought a conception prediction tarot card reading on Etsy from The Pregnancy Unicorn. Just out of curiosity really and it was only £3
She predicts this will be between May 27th - July 7th...ahh so hope this comes true 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@LKB89 Yes that's definitely a good way of looking at things! We've booked a week away in the UK at the end of June so I'm hoping that goes ahead and we're also in the process of buying a new house and our little ones birthday Monday so lots of positive to things to look forward to and focus on. I've tried to shift my mindset a little as I was becoming quite consumed with TTC baby number 2 and I realised that a few months have passed by where I haven't really enjoyed the daily things because all I can think about is faking pregnant! So whatever happens happens and that's the way I'm trying to go with it! Xx

I haven’t tested today, bottled it! 6 days till AF due going by last month so gonna wait few more days! I’ve gone the other way this month avoiding testing!

I've been having lower backache on and off for a few days, and random headaches. I had the coil removed in Feb, so I'm not really sure if these are just going to be not al AF symptoms for me... Still learning my body and cycle I guess. I kinda feel AF is on the way tho :(

@Ljastar welcome! 10dpo is still early so don’t worry! I stopped my pill end of Jan so also trying to get to know my cycle and body! My skin is terrible since stopping !

I think after what others have said about being more chilled this month it’s definitely something we’ve done. I don’t think we could face doing SMEP again, got a static smily today and have dtd last night and Tuesday so I think after tonight we’ll dtd then leave it to fate. I needed to do ovulation kits anyway to know when to book my next blood test but I think I will leave them next month.
It’s nice to just focus on things opening up again and visiting people 😊

@teateaandcoffee we've been mega chill, so chill probably won't happen this month 🤣

I just needed a break from it all, really hurt my heart every month more so because we were trying to much!

@LKB89 I know, it’s so hard and the stress of waiting around testing time. It’s good to have a month off every now and then, we have definitely done that over the last year. Just take the pressure off and have a reset.
Poor hubby has to take his sample in in a couple of weeks 🤣 Think he’s getting a bit nervous 😂🤣

He's in on the 10th May, my bloods are on 7th! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻think this is why I've been more chilled too, as I know we are being checked?!

Day 14 today for me, I've still been tracking what day on Flo & I input my symptoms as I just like to refer back to them each month anyways but that's it! I'm definitely sleeping better not waking up with taking my temp subconsciously on my mind.

Back to the smileys again here! Period came 6 days early this time, so hopefully not as long of a wait! Currently on CD6, hoping this is the month! Agree with other comments the last few months the tracking the timings the schedules! Have been quite consuming and stressful. I’m gonna track & go at it Again this month and try not to get to crazy! Hope everyone’s ok!

@LKB89 yeah same, for some reason he’s left it all on his desk haha. And he’s been given a time slot for his appointment and can only ‘produce’ it an hour before but the hospital is a 40 min drive so no pressure hahaha.
Also the instructions said don’t produce sample in a public place hahaha

@BCM2021 good luck this month! I’m about 4dpo, not even bothered this month and I think we will have a break next month 😊 think like @LKB89 says, once you roughly know your cycle you can use it roughly and then be less on it with the testing around ovulation.

Does anyone else have more symptoms of ovulation on the day of their LH surge/positive OPK, rather than the day after?

Today I believe I ovulated. Yesterday morning I got my peak. But I had more signs of ovulation yesterday, such as lots of EWCM and watery, some twinges and high sex drive. Today I have a few twinges and not much else.

Could I have ovulated yesterday or would it have been today?
