@Intrigued2020 Yes, long cycles here too, I feel your pain! I only re-started having periods in January 2020 after over a decade on the Depo contraceptive injection (during which I had no periods, it was a joy!), so wasn't sure what to expect. It took a while for my cycles to settle down, but generally it's mid 30s. After my MC last August they dropped to 29 days which I was quite pleased about as they pass so much quicker, but then my body did a U-turn and decided to try out 40+ days before coming back to more like my normal now!
Does anyone else get any spotting mid-cycle? The last few months I've started having 3-4 days of dark brown spotting a few days before ovulation, which is a bit annoying, although it does give me a kind of early warning system that ovulation is imminent!
@Confused678866 - we aim to DTD at least 3 times a week throughout the cycle, but make sure it's every other day around ovulation. Trying every day over the peak window got too stressful for us, so this seems more manageable!
Was laughing with my partner earlier as alongside my progesterone blood test, he's having a semen analysis and we didn't realise until he read the instructions that you have to keep the sample warm (it suggested tucking the pot in a pocket!) and get it to the fertility testing centre within an hour of producing it. Luckily our nearest centre is only half an hour's drive from us but still, will be a bit stressed if there are traffic delays, reckon it should come with a special semen siren you can pop on your car...MAKE WAY, IMPORTANT SPERM COMING THROUGH!
