Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

@MammaJ21 I don't think you ovulate at the point of peak, you ovulate 12-48 hours later so hopefully you will be all good! I got my peak on Tuesday but don't think I ovulated until Wednesday. We DTD Monday & Wednesday and will DTD tonight too. The egg hangs around for about 24 hours I think

Started taking the pregnacare conception vitamins last night, they’ve been in the bathroom cupboard for a good couple months, so maybe they’ll help on the new cycle. It sucks that AF got here early and must admit I went to bed feeling pretty sorry for myself.
Now I feel a bit like Pinky and The Brain but instead of taking over the world I just wanna get pregnant 😂

Ohhhh @KatieLooLa I'm so sorry. I really had everything crossed for you. Let's go 3 out of 3 next time and all have beautiful Christmas present babies! I was miserable as sin for about 3 hours yesterday but we have to put our big girl pants on like the birthday girl said 🤣 I absofrickinlutely loved Pinky and the Brain. Yessssss. The same thing we do every month, pinky: Try to make a sticky baby.

Woke up to 'the greatest love of all' in my head this morning. Not very subtle hint from my subconscious to be kind to myself. Pass the yoga mat, stat!

@Sallyjo27 you had the OvuSense and the Ava? I did think about the Ava but I think I'm happy with my choice. I'm going to use the Femometer digital lh strips this time too.

Which tests did you get done? I'm just worried about the expense of it all as well. Did you go to a clinic? I saw the Dr. Fertility tests... It's all just so confusing!

Oooh I'm so excited for you and your Snow moon baby. Sounds like you implant early from your early BFPs. I don't know much about those levels but I'm really keeping everything crossed that this is your lovely sticky baby 🦄🌈✨

My day just keeps getting better!
Just been on the phone to test and trace and now having to isolate! So I’ve ordered some alcohol and chocolate from local shop.
Plus side is a few days off from work 😂

@KatieLooLa I've started on them too this month...along with a load of other vitamins to see if that helps at all, spent a load of time googling and placed an order with Holland and Barrett last week. Would be lovely if they helped at all before my appointment in April!
Thank god the working week is over! Looking forward to a lazy weekend, AF takes it out of you! 🍷 time too! X x

I was saying to @CycloGoose earlier that I've got what seems to be loads of EWCM today which is weird so gonna make sure we DTD tonight so we don't miss anything. I've put it on femometer but it's not changed my date thankfully!

Also, I wish all the easter rabbits would do one, they don't count do they?!

I definitely think ovusense is better!

I had AMH, an Ultrasound of my womb and ovaries, thyroid, 21 day progesterone, blood clotting, immune antibodies tested vitamin d and B12, inflammation tested too and my husband had a sperm analysis. We went privately.
Not dr fertility... medichecks. I’ll put the link below. I’m not working for them though haha I just think it’s really worth the money. I wish I had seen this before going private if I’m honest.

so had positive opk Thurs Eve and Fri morn but dtd weds. Today I have a few cramps (ovulation cramps) so would dtd tonight give a chance...or is it too late?

My mum just came to get her Mother's Day present from me (from the doorstep) she was saying I should be able to get my jab next month. Another reason I hope I'm pregnant this time so that I don't have to try and explain that one!!!

Afternoon everyone...

AF appeared yesterday but I was quite happy because we've spend the last week in no mans land, no positive but no period.
Spoke to GP who advised me that a 35 Day cycle and a 17 Luteal phase is good since coming off the coil in Jan.
We are going to go through some fertility tests next month just to rule out the basics...as just waiting is driving me crazy..

Hi ladies. I'm day 28. My cycle is a bit random but I ovulate 14 days ago ish....got a positive stagnant smiley face Saturday 2 weeks ago. Really felt af was coming and told myself I'm not pregnant and just deal with it and enjoy my weekend. The inner voice was still going so while dh and the kids were out, I did a test, purely just to shut up my inner voice and well....it's positive. Ill see if I can attach a picture. I don't know what to think. An app is telling me I'm 3 weeks pregnant. But when I Google 3 weeks pregnant, it says its too early to test!! So although I feel hopeful, I find it so strange looking at the 2 lines, I kind of can't believe this could be happening....its like I don't want to believe it. Does any of that make sense? I haven't even said anything to dh. Will do more tests in a few days. I never knew about chemical pregnancies, and now I'm worried about that too!!!! I'm wrecking my own head, so I'm better off not telling dh right now suppose I just want to say it somewhere, write it down and try to express how I'm feeling right now. I have had lower back pain and slight period pain most of the week. Needing to pee during the night and feel so sick but didn't think too much of it. The irony of it all, I normally symptom spot but I'm back in work and just didn't have time to think about it that much.
Just feeling a bit anxious. Period was possibly due today, so it wasn't too early to test??? I know that, but it's like I just don't want to to believe it.

@lucea87 it’s really uncomfortable, was so embarrassing as when the nurse did the swab on my nose there was a big bogie on the end of it 😂
Got a huge headache so chilling out in the bedroom while other half shouts at the rugby in the living room.... might be why I have a headache...

@Dagray21 Congratulations! That looks like a very positive, positive test to me x

@Dagray21 you are absolutely ok to get a positive test now, you're 14 days since ovulation so technically AF due. So perfect, congratulations 🎉 also, your pregnancy technically starts on the first day of your last period depending on how long your cycle is so most people are 3-4 weeks pregnant already when they find out. Don't worry! Enjoy it! I can't wait to see 2 lines!

Great news for you @dagray21 looks very strong. As @lucea87 said, your pregnancy is dated from CD1. Chemical is a loss in the first 5 weeks I think. Best not to think about it too much.

@CycloGoose went to work, co-worker got a positive covid test and here I am. Knew I should have pulled a sickie! 😂
Other half thought he had symptoms on Wednesday, went into isolation, he had his test and it came out negative (results came on Thursday) out of isolation on Friday morning, took Ares for a walk, Friday afternoon before I was headed to work (all ready to go and everything) get a call from test and trace and back into isolation we went! As I said, had the first test today and waiting for the results to get back, probably be tomorrow morning, but even if it’s negative we both need to be tested again on 19th so in isolation till at least the 20th... hopefully next month will be better all round 😂

Hey there beautiful TTC ladies, thank you for all your kind birthday messages to me, I got tiny little bit tipsy over the weekend to say the least, annoying thing about this weekend was my peak was due on my birthday!! Nothing as of yet, yesterday's reading was 0.66 and I have EWCM so just looks like my birthday weekend of fun is going to be extended ;)

@kaylsd thanks for that and to you too, I had a little bit of an emotional morning after my partner said something a little bluntly this morning about our MC. He didn't mean it in a horrible way but it really hit me. Avoiding social media for today I think 🤷🏼‍♀️ hopefully our time will come 🥰 and enjoy that extended birthday deed doing, lucky you 😂 x x

So I had a positive opk test Thurs Eve and Fri morn. Dtd Wednesday night but haven't managed to since. However, just did an opk and it's positive again... had some little cramps year and today (ovulation) just a bit confused as to why it's positive today. Definitely think I missed the window of opportunity after the initial positive opk in Thurs.

Anyone experienced similar?
