Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

So many doggy photos and all of them adorable! Ares is sat at the end of the bed while we watch tv, feeling sorry for herself because mum forgot to get more of her favourite treats and the ones in the cupboard aren’t good enough 😂

@CycloGoose She’s a Siberian husky, have debated doing something with all that fur, enough there to stuff a mattress! I keep saying she’d make a lovely rug when she plays us up 😆
3 of us with same cycle, well they say good things come in 3’s! 🤞🏻

@kaylsd Ares is very good around around babies, she belonged to my sister-in-law till a year ago when we took her on. She’s got 2 small boys and Ares had been with her through her pregnancies and while they were babies/toddlers. Think Nanny from Peter Pan, Ares is a little like that so I’ve no concerns.
Best thing to do when you eventually have a baby is to ignore everyone else when you bring baby home for the first time and introduce the new addition to Mable before anyone else, she’ll see baby as a new member of her pack.
@kaylsd wow that wedding pic 😍😍😍

And yea i agree with the social media updates tbh i rarerly post anything from my life on social media. Too many nosy 🥸🤓😶😶
I'm litterally the same, if anything I just lurke in the background giving my friends support sprinkling odd like here n there, otherwise I just watch food videos and dog videos on there 😂🙈

kaylsd · 09/03/2021 07:04

@Slinks8113

So GP rang me back and said that the ovulation tests and temperature monitoring is not accurate so it's very unlikely I have an issue! I should stop testing and temping and just relax, try meditation and yoga and she's sure it'll happen....oh doctors are great aren't they 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ AF is definitely here, little cow! But onwards and upwards....maybe I should dig out my yoga pants and start humming! X
Get your sage out burning and cleanse your thoughts about OPKs and Temps 😂🙈 GPS seem to be like two types from what I've read on here about TTC either like a chocolate fireguard for help or the absolute flip side and help you out so much! Can't win with some of them, new cycle new start sweet 🌈🤞🏻❤️

@CycloGoose

I agree *@kaylsd* wowwowwowwow! You've absolutely nailed it. They can be little shits but I love them totally. You're a good egg, I can tell. I'm so excited for you for your birthday. Sounds like you have found such a lovely way to make it special despite the lockdown! I absolutely love a fairy light. Fecking squirrels ate through my cables - squirrel sign there! Such a gorgeous idea for bump reveal, too!

@slinks8113 that's surely absolute bullfrog. Mine did actually ask me if I'd tried using OPKs. They just have their hands tied don't they. Sorry AF has come in full force! I was with you on that rollercoaster hoping for the best!

My pregnancy unicorn 🦄🦄 readings are in! Could be read as being VERY exciting!!

Making me think I should test tomorrow but I don't have a frer and no way I'll get a BFP on a cheapy on CD10 surely!

Eeeekkk morning sweetheart how are you feeling today? Are you testing this morning or gonna wait for AF? I did so well last month holding out to get the dodgiest Evap line I've seen then AF came with force! I hope today's more smoother for you at work, I guess it might just take time to adjust and settle back down for the kiddies point of view for the first few week then no doubt you'll just get back to normal and a half term will be creeping around the corner 🙈

I love your reading prediction chick! Just gives you hope that everything you've been wanting these last 7 cycles could be right around the corner! I love the excitement of reading them me but I've promised no more for a little while because they've gave me a window if I compare the days from anywhere between April-July🤞🏻❤️

That is so reassuring to read about your pooch and how well they get along with the little ones, thank you for your advice I'm sure it'll just be a little bit of a initial adjustment like anything in life ❤️ today's treat for Mable is were going to take her on a long walk out this morning around this lake which is near our house and walk round with a costa because it's just across the road from it 😋 and maybe sprinkle the odd baby dance in as my BBT has started dipping 😉🌈🥰
lucea87 · 09/03/2021 07:49

I'm the same with the nervousness about the doggo and a baby but I'm sure he will be fine, I hope so anyway!! He's still a baby himself (6 months old today!).

My prediction has updated as I've had a peak in my femometer LH tests this morning, so now days ovulation tomorrow instead of yesterday 🙄 think we will skip tonight and try again tomorrow, we are both knackered, possibly do tomorrow & Thursday but will see what the tests are saying. God this is exhausting isn't it girls 😂😂

minthumbugs · 09/03/2021 08:19

I have a very boisterous and needy doggo and we were so worried when our LO was born! But it couldn't have gone any better, they have been best friends from day 1 and now they entertain each other - it's fab 😂 poor dog puts up with being treated like a horse, chasing and tail grabbing and takes it like a champ ❤️

Aww this is my dream 💕
KatieLooLa · 09/03/2021 12:31

I bit the bullet and bought an ultra early Clearblue pregnancy test.... sadly it’s negative. That said though I was so eager to test I didn’t use first morning urine so I’ve most likely pissed money away (literally!)
I’m such an idiot 😔

Sallyjo27 · 09/03/2021 14:07

@CycloGoose yes I’m okay thank you waiting for hcg bloods to come back.

@MgW1 I’m sorry for your losses I was referred in July after my 3rd and still haven’t heard anything. I went private in the end and had lots of bloods done but they found nothing f wrong. I was prescribed cyclogest and went on to have my 4th miscarriage. I’m currently pregnant again and have been given clexane and cylogest to try this time xxx

@kaylsd literally every time I go to the loo I'm expecting to see AF because she was so early last month. So far so good. I tested this morning with the cheapies and obviously negative. I think I've got about 50 so I'll probably just test with those until AF. I'd rather spend the money on making the pregnancy happen rather than checking if it has!

It's totally full on being back with the kids. Literally my first break now since 8am. But duty was outside today and it's glorious sunshine here. The grounds are absolutely stunning, too. I can see why parents would pay to send their boys here. It's a real idyll.

Definitely don't need any more readings! Yours are lovely. I liked the future children one. I was totally convinced we'd have boys though.

@lucea87 Rambo will be gorgeous I'm sure! I'm hoping to try to convince DH we can get a dog once I'm not working but the cost of them 🥺 Not sure he'll go for it. Maybe I can register to be a doggy daycare and just get a bit of money for looking after someone else's pooch during the day!

@KatieLooLa still in the game though!

@Sallyjo27 really glad to hear from you. Everything crossed that your baby sticks this time xxx

lucea87 · 09/03/2021 17:25

@Sallyjo27 have everything crossed for you lovely please keep us posted xx

So I think I hit peak at around 10am today and femometer has changed ovulation day to today now. There's no way we are up for it tonight but will go for tomorrow night just in case. I slept with my fertility cup in for a few hours last night so hopeful those swimmers are up there waiting for that precious egg 🥰

lucea87 · 09/03/2021 17:26

Ps. I confess I am a POAS addict now with the LH strips 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

minthumbugs · 09/03/2021 18:24

Sorry @KatieLooLa :( but you're not out yet! How many DPO are you? There's still time. X

@lucea87 i feel that. I'm very glad to have entered the TWW so I'm not obsessing every afternoon lol (I say that now)

Iloveoreos · 09/03/2021 18:36

@lucea87 yes the sticks can b addictive to use

KatieLooLa · 09/03/2021 19:18

@minthumbugs CD24/10DPO, I’m hoping it was just my own stupidity for not waiting till first thing tomorrow morning to use the test. We shall see! Till AF rears her ugly head I’m still in the game x

The exact happened to me on the same app last month I was almost sure of which day I ovulated on yet it decided to do the Hokey Cokey and change it all up due to one random temperature :') you've probably covered all angles with your baby dancing sweetheart but what's harm in once more for good measure ;)

It's the curse of the TWW you aren't out until AF shows sweetheart the urge to test is the biggest battle I think because I've got a draw full of tests upstairs in the bathroom which looks like I've got peeing on a stick issues 😂🙈 did you retest this morning? Xx
kaylsd · 10/03/2021 08:28

That is like the sweetest thing ever I could only wish for my pooch to take on the same role of the playful play pal for them 🤞🏻❤️🌈 @minthumbugs

@CycloGoose isit like a private school you work at? I think if I recall back my school views was portacabins which were meant to be temporary but was there through the time I was there😂🙈 how are you feeling today lovely, are you around 9/10DPO now? I hate the build up to the AF for the symptoms and dreading every time I wipe to see spotting because I know that she'll be ready to pounce at any moment, got to have a good stash of cheapies! I've got about 30 upstairs because they came with my OPK strips :')

KatieLooLa · 10/03/2021 08:52

@kaylsd
Haven’t tested today, I’m going to leave it till Sunday. Looked at the old one and swear I saw an extremely light line but it’s probably just an evaporation line... or my imagination. Will see in the next few days 🤞🏻

CycloGoose · 10/03/2021 10:23

Oh yeah I forgot to say happened to me too. Changed because one temp it didn't like.

CycloGoose · 10/03/2021 10:33

@kaylsd yeah it's a private school up to 13 but I've been in private since I moved down to London and this is the first place with grounds. Salary is the worst I've had for a long while though! 🤣 But it does make a big difference to come here when it's beautiful. I like seeing the seasons change here. There's a beautiful walkway to the local church and it's lines with daffodils. The boys have no idea how lucky they are!

I'm 11dpo and I feel as rough as a badger's arse. There was pink last night and I swear I've been going to the loo extra times just to see if she's there. I've got approximately a million of those cheap tests but they're a bit useless. Negatives again today. Expecting AF any second. No hopes being raised because it's too hard to have them dashed every time.

Got my OvuSense in the basket, just waiting until full flow to click purchase!

@katieloola that's exciting news that there might have been a line! Take a photo! Excited for you and 🤞🤞🤞

CycloGoose · 10/03/2021 10:36

Though... Saying not getting hopes up but heard 5ive 'keep on moving' this morning which, not only connects me to @lucea87 as early 00ies pop but has the line 'all the bees and birds are flying' about 100 times. Signs 'R' us.

lucea87 · 10/03/2021 14:27

@CycloGoose & @KatieLooLa I've got my whole body (except legs, obvs 😉) crossed for you both this month. I've got good feelings.

No change to my date today, it's stayed at yesterday. My temp hasn't really changed but I'm crap at that 😂 cervix still high, soft & open and EWCM still today so hoping that's a good sign and we can catch tonight too 🤞🏼

I've got good feelings girls!!
