Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

Think the spotting is getting a bit heavier so I might be out this month :( and a whole lot earlier than expected! X

It ain't over till the fat lady (aunt flo) sings, don't rule yourself out until you get full flow!
CycloGoose · 06/03/2021 19:10

Really sorry to hear about your recurrent MC @mgw1 I hope the appointment is helpful.

@Slinks8113 I was so excited for you when you said about the pink! It can be quite a bit for implantation so don't worry too much unless it turns into what's normal for you. I've got everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Love your squirrels @minthumbugs

@lucea87 I don't think I'm very accurate with my BBT either. Another mark for Mr OvuSense.

DIY busyness this weekend. Just cooked up a big fat load of pasta bakes so we have food for the week. When did Saturdays get so boring?

kaylsd · 06/03/2021 19:49
@kaylsd our boy has his moments, his name is Rambo...he is Rambo by nature for sure 😂😂 he's 6 months next week so he's going through the teenage phase right now where is has forgotten everything we taught him. He has also had Giardia for ages now, only diagnosed a few weeks ago but on his second lot of medication now poor thing! I took him on a super long walk at lunch so hoping he will have a good sleep later 🤞🏼
Awww bless him, is he like having a naughty toddler with the sounds of it? My Mable has a habit of looking at whoever was the last person to leave her in the house choosing one of their shoes dragging it into her bed on abit of a protest I think, today my trainer was in her dog bed 😂🙈 but then when I come home for dinner at work she looks at me like butter wouldn't melt so I can't tell her off for it because she doesn't chew them she just drags them into her dog bed 🙈

kaylsd · 06/03/2021 19:50
@kaylsd yesssssss perfect timing haha! Happy birthday ;)
Oh it will be a very happy birthday, were inflating the hot tub back up on Monday for a couple of week so what a better way to celebrate, hot tub & drinks & takeaway Nando's and BD with positive OPK.... Alexa play Marvin Gaye... ;) hahahaha!

kaylsd · 06/03/2021 19:53
@Slinks8113 it could be implantation drop?

I'm so crampy most of the time at the moment. Thinking AF going to come early again. But there was a 🐝 on our school newsletter so I'm having that 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

We'll remember to sing happy birthday next Friday @kaylsd !!

Hope everyone is enjoying their flashy smileys and peak OPKs.

Hope all good with @Sallyjo27 and @els10

Have lovely weekends everyone xxx
Hey there sweetie hope your having an amazing Saturday so far! Been at work all weekend again so just catching up after a horrendous day.. I'll keep my eyes out for any bees and send them your way! How many days until you can test / AF? You mentioned being crampy but they do say cramps are a good sign! Fingers and toes and everything else crossed for you sweetheart, as we are cycle twins on number 7 I'm hoping you can complete it for us first hand this month 🤞🏻😘🙌🏻🌈

kaylsd · 06/03/2021 19:54

You never know darling they do say implantation can be like a light period which lasts up to 3 days so you never know, fingers and toes and everything else crossed for you 🤞🏻❤️
KatieLooLa · 06/03/2021 21:23

I know I’m getting a bit (ok... a lot) ahead of myself but...
IF I do get a BFP I have an idea of how to tell the Mr... it’s his birthday at the end of the month so my idea is if I took a pic of BFP test/s put it on a Moonpig card with “happy birthday daddy” on it.
To be honest though I dunno if I could actually keep it secret till then.
Thoughts fellow TTCers? X

minthumbugs · 06/03/2021 21:25

@KatieLooLa such a nice idea! I could never keep that in 🙈 how long before would you test? X

KatieLooLa · 06/03/2021 21:29

@minthumbugs
AF is due next Sunday (14th) his birthday isn’t till till 26th.
Would probably wait till 15th to test so 11 days between... I’d like to think I could keep it a secret but think I’d crack fairly quickly lol x

minthumbugs · 06/03/2021 22:10

@KatieLooLa that would be perfect such a good story! Does he know your dates will he be nosy? 😂 Xx

KatieLooLa · 06/03/2021 22:48

@minthumbugs
Typical bloke, don’t think he really has much of a clue! Only thing is he’s working from home at the moment so would be a bit difficult to test without him noticing x

CycloGoose · 06/03/2021 23:29

Sorry you had a horrendous day @kaylsd we've been doing DIY all day and then cooked up a big batch of pasta for us and our neighbour. We're really worried about him bless him. Opened up to us about anxiety etc. It's been a long year for him.

No way I could keep it a secret that long @KatieLooLa Brilliant if you can!

I just don't want to get my hopes up. Was horrible last month going to bed thinking I had implantation bleeding and waking up to AF.

Cramps nowhere near as bad today. Who knows aye!? CD22 and 7dpo but I had my first spotting last month CD23 and 9dpo. Thinking about it all is just exhausting.

I want to say we'll be thinking of you next week for your birthday but that sounds really wrong 😂🎉

Also PS. I always salute the maple AND say hello Mr Magpie, how's your wife and family. Also, if there's a few I always count them up and say the whole rhyme. I think it's just part of me now 🤣

Sleep well lovelies xxx

CycloGoose · 06/03/2021 23:43

Just realised I totally repeated myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ Too early for baby brain as well 😹

Slinks8113 · 07/03/2021 06:58

I'm out this month :( AF turned up this morning. Temps still high though but will likely drop tomorrow. LP is super short again this month which is a little worrying but I guess still returning to normal after MC.
Here's to the next cycle and guilt free wine 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ xx

minthumbugs · 07/03/2021 07:58

Sorry @Slinks8113 ☹️ good luck for this cycle and enjoy the wine. Xxx

CycloGoose · 07/03/2021 08:52

Oh @Slinks8113 I'm so sorry to hear this. Enjoy the booze! Have you tried inositol? It's supposed to help with regulating cycles and be side effect free. I'm on my first month of it. Obviously don't know the effects yet.

My most beautiful heart dog at my mum and dad's has to go to sleep for the final time on Tuesday. I'm heartbroken. Was hoping to see her for one last time to be able to say goodbye. Sodding lockdown.

Slinks8113 · 07/03/2021 09:30

@CycloGoose I've just been googling so will try a few extra vitamins going forward to see if that helps :) how you feeling?
Sorry to hear about your parents dog - such sad news and a shame in lockdown even more so! X

lucea87 · 07/03/2021 09:32

@Slinks8113 oh no sorry 😢 fingers crossed for next cycle

@CycloGoose how awful 😥😥 so sorry to hear that. Will squeeze mine a little tighter tonight even though he's a horror for sure xx

minthumbugs · 07/03/2021 10:23

Oh @CycloGoose so sorry. ☹️ Xx

Slinks8113 · 07/03/2021 12:35

Does anyone spend the first day of their period googling 'implantation bleeding' or is it just me 😂🙋🏼‍♀️ so hopeful that it stops but very doubtful! X

CycloGoose · 07/03/2021 15:37

@Slinks8113 last cycle I was still taking pregnancy tests after my period because it was so early and short. I'm totally with you. Everything crossed for you.

I'm okay. Still a few cramps but not so bad. I'm very nervous about AF arriving.

Thanks for kind words about my lovely doggo. I was there when she was born - she was the first our family bred so it's super sad.

lucea87 · 07/03/2021 16:37

@Slinks8113 @CycloGoose I would be guilty of the same, for the first couple of my last period I was trying to convince myself it was just implantation...!!!

Femometer has told me off for inconsistent BBT 🙄

Well, I know what high cervix actually feels like. Last month I thought it was high at the end of my cycle, it is most definitely high and open now. We had a terrible night with our Rambo (hates sleeping in his crate all of a sudden) but determined to get baby dancing as much as possibly this week.

KatieLooLa · 07/03/2021 19:04

@Slinks8113
You’re not alone, every month I’m convinced AF is implantation till it starts getting heavy.
Week 2 of 2WW and I’m fighting the urge to do a pregnancy test (or 10...) but I will hold out! If I wait maybe I might get that BFP?

CycloGoose · 07/03/2021 21:59

What day did you say you were on @KatieLooLa? I'm CD8. Praying not to get period on CD9 again!

Femometer says to test on CD10 but I'm worried that's too early. I've got about 50 tests but they're all cheap ones.

I had never even heard of implantation bleeding before TTC. It's an absolute minefield. I've learned so much in the last 7 months!!

@lucea87 I've been told off too 🤦🏼‍♀️
