Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

@Sallyjo27

Thank you both for checking in. Another positive! So definitely pregnant. I’ve ordered my injections now so just waiting for them to come *@CycloGoose* *@Slinks8113*
Congratulations again sweetheart 🌈🙌🏻❤️❤️
CycloGoose · 03/03/2021 18:14

Absolutely, go for it @kaylsd nothing wrong with a bit of a treat. I've been scoffing ridiculous food all day when I should be nourishing myself like crazy. Ooops!

Not really set but I'll get by. I don't think I could do shifts like you do!

minthumbugs · 03/03/2021 20:19

Well ladies I got a reading - that lady is making a fortune from us lol.

My significant month is July, gender is boy and sign is squirrels. Squirrel sightings welcome! Haha. The baby I lost this year was due in July - would love to be expecting by that time so my fingers are crossed so tightly. Xx

CycloGoose · 03/03/2021 20:27

🐿️🐿️🐿️ @minthumbugs conveniently there are emojis for all our signs too 🤣

Really hope you get your rainbow baby soon🌈

@CycloGoose love it! Thanks for my very first squirrel sighting

Week five since stopping my pill, I’ve had sore boobs, funny tummy, cramps, back ache but AF hasn’t turned up- worried I’m going end up with irregular cycles Sad thinking if nothing happens I’ll take a test on Saturday - just feel rather glum

It took about 5 n abit week to have my withdrawal bleed from stopping my pill hunny so fingers crossed you'll see something soon! I even had one month where I didn't ovulate which can also be a cause for no period to show yet, do you use OPK?

Just might take a little bit more time, I have a slightly longer cycle too since stopping the pill I used to be like 30/31 days, but since stopping the pill I'm 34 days xx

Eeeek July is an amazing month! I swear we've boosted the fertility reading business following mums net because we are all just curious to see if there's any truth to what they have said ;) I've had 4 readings (I promised the last one I did will be the last one though) and 3 have said either July or summer months, and then my final one said positive test in April or due April 2022, which could mean a July positive test for that to happen too! Eeeek roll on the summer 🤞🏻🥰🌈🤰

I caved, had Chinese last night for tea, was totally worth it! There's no greater feeling than a full tummy from Chinese food 🐷 hahaha, I still have the view right now as there's nothing much to look forward to until things relax than foods the next best thing although it does worry me that's non of my jeans what I have will probably fit as I've not worn a pair in over a year 😂🙈

Aww hunny I'm sure you'll be fine once you find your feet back in the classroom :D nice for you to undertake some normality once again!

I bought some bits for my niece that is due in April today, baby stuff is just the cutest everrrrrr espesh the little Pom Pom hats 🥰 my womb aches when ever I see them, it'll be our turn soon no doubt! 😘 xxx

CycloGoose · 04/03/2021 09:29

@Seraphim87 I wouldn't worry at all. I had withdrawal bleed straight away and then no true AF for 9 weeks. It just takes some time for our bodies to readjust to life without synthetic hormones. Since then I've had fairly normal cycles but they have still been a bit up and down.

@Slinks8113 my Femometer just changed its mind and changed my ovulation day the little got! Now it's showing I didn't DTD on most fertile days 🤦🏼‍♀️ knew I shouldn't have put it off last Sunday. Arse.

World book day today. Currently Katniss Everdeen 🤣

CycloGoose · 04/03/2021 09:36

@kaylsd nom nom nom. I'm not a Chinese lover but I do love a good takeaway. Glad you enjoyed it! I ate my own bodyweight in sugar yesterday and currently paying the price 🤢

We have another niece or nephew due in a couple of weeks too. Not sure what to buy! It's first niece from that side's birthday this month too - they'll be almost exactly 5 years apart with the middle sister being exactly 2.5 years from both! Some people's bodies work like clockwork it seems! Can you imagine if they were born on exactly the same day?

It will be our turn soon enough and at least we'll have people to hand things down to us including experience! xxx

lucea87 · 04/03/2021 09:52

Hey girls! So sorry I've been MIA, just trying to catch up with all the messages I've missed now. Xx

lucea87 · 04/03/2021 10:14

@kaylsd that reading is incredible! Where did you get it from?

@Sallyjo27 so glad you're still positive! Fingers crossed this is all good for you

Slinks8113 · 04/03/2021 10:19

@CycloGoose no way! That app does my head in sometimes haha x

Sad

Oh well. Nothing to be done is there! Just gotta wait it out.

minthumbugs · 04/03/2021 13:52

@kaylsd oh wouldn't that be great! Your dates would all line up so perfectly, it's meant to be ❤️

Iloveoreos · 04/03/2021 14:28

Ladies- how many days after seeing smiley flashey on cb opk do you see a static smiley?

BrodieKD · 04/03/2021 14:57

@Iloveoreos I think it depends as I went straight from circle to a static smilie. I didn't get a flashing smilie at all last month.

CycloGoose · 04/03/2021 15:04

@iloveoreos I have had both - first time straight from blank to static, this time, 8 days of the flashy twerp.

lucea87 · 04/03/2021 15:35
@iloveoreos I have had both - first time straight from blank to static, this time, 8 days of the flashy twerp.
I'm losing faith in the clear blue ones to be honest. I'm wondering if symptom spotting is the only consistent thing to do i.e. cervix position and mucas but what a chore that is. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think we might just try and DTD every other day, especially next week and pray we don't miss it this cycle!

Iloveoreos · 04/03/2021 15:40

@BRODieKD
@cyclogoose

Oh well seems like no hard and fast rule with this 🤣 the waiting games we ladies have to endure

Iloveoreos · 04/03/2021 15:42

@BrodieKD ive no idea how to check cervix position. Hmm

Have a google, there's lots of pictures/videos which explain how to do it! I don't think it's something you should do too regularly and you should be really cautious when doing it too I think, clean hands, gentle etc

BrodieKD · 04/03/2021 16:00

@Iloveoreos haha it wasn't my suggestion and I absolutely have no idea how to check it either Grin

CycloGoose · 04/03/2021 16:13

I tried it this time and really didn't have a clue.

The clear blue ones serve a purpose - if you get an estrogen rise, they'll tell you so long as you start tracking from the right day. My cycle isn't 100% regular so I think I've tested once too late to spot the rise and once too early so the baseline was so low any old rise was detected.

They do always tell you when you have your surge but that might not always be when your peak is if you surge for a long time.
My cheapies tend to be quite light so I found it useful to compare my internet cheapies with the clear blue to see that it was definitely considered a peak.

All that said, if I'm not pregnant this time, I've decided to invest in OvuSense. It's expensive and not for everyone but it's medically approved and I think it will take a lot of the guesswork out which is what I find so stressful. Plus if you haven't conceived after 3 months, you can have a fertility nurse appointment to discuss cycle. Not trying to sell it or push it, just explaining why that's what I've decided to do. I've been trying 7 months and not really getting anywhere and I'd really like to get pregnant before I'm 35 so I'll take all the help I can get.

Hope you are doing okay @lucea87 nearly fertile week 😂💓
