Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

@CycloGoose I give myself a week before I start taking tests and looking for possible signs lol

@Sallyjo27 surely not? Which tests? Are they as sensitive? Negatives are never certain until AF xxx

@katieloola it's so difficult not to get caught up in it all isn't it!

@CycloGoose the test was a cheapie. So I don’t think they’re the most reliable anyway. Or maybe it’s a chemical pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not sure.

I wish I could be the text book of CD 14, but I'm just kind of happy I have abit of a routine again with my cycles since coming off contraception. I was normal for 3 month after coming off and then I have covid which caused my next cycle after it to be an mixed ovulation which lead to a 76 day cycle which was a absolute nightmare, lucky following that it's returned to as normal for the last 2, who knew TTC had to be so technical about the way our bodies works rather than coming off the pill having unprotected sex and baby straight away.... it's a nice thought 😂🙈 cycle number 7 and counting 🌈🤞🏻❤️

Hey *@kaylsd* glad you had a lovely weekend. Did you get a nice houseplant? I had to go to b&q and they had some lovely stuff.

I started testing too early this time and it really freaked me out. Most things say start from day 10 unless you have a short cycle.

When it gets closer, I test a few times a day but I think my peak tends to happen quite late in the evening so I don't always see it if I test in the morning.

I'm not sure what I feel about the Clear Blue to be honest. I didn't get a flashing smiley face the first time and the second time it started flashing way too soon so I don't think I'm going to get it again.

I think I'm going to get OvuSense if I don't conceive this time. I'm a bit of a nerd and it's all my data in one place without having to wait around for pee samples or wake up and take my temperature etc. It's a lot of money but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

I have to tell my husband, otherwise he gives in to just being too tired. It was so much better this month and I didn't get all upset with him rejecting me because he knew what was going on! That much sex just isn't normal for us 🤣

Glad bleeding stopped @minthumbugs - how bizarre!

Hello @izzyboo22 I think it's a thing - as soon as you start thinking about it, everything changes 🤣 it's not bad enough we have to have periods in the first place but when we want them to serve their purpose and house a baby the screw us over!

I was actually gutted! Couldn't find a nice one anywhere, there was so many people in my person space too which always annoys me in covid times that they just think it's fine to lean over me, just ask me to move then I'll move 😫🙈😂 I went to range too and that was bedlam! Queuing outside and just so many people around so decided to jack that shop off for a McDonald's! Trying this cycle from today (new month new me ;)) to eat healthier, although there's a pack of chocolate digestives with my name on with a nice big cup of tea 😢 😂🙈 to see if that helps with anything? Said I will exercise at least 3 times a week & cut out rubbish & reduce coffee (although I normally only have like 2-3 cups a day)

I know what you mean about too much baby dancing, that's why me and my hub are having a more relaxed month, that smep absolutely buggered us out and we didn't see any particular benefit from it, even my hub looked at me after the day 3 in a row post BD can I have a rest now I feel like I'm throbbing like a trapped thumb (TMI😂😂😂😂🙈) poor lil love 🙈

Oh @kaylsd you crack me up! Throbbing thumb! Yeah we pretty much did every day and then once on ovulation day. It wore us out.

I tried my fertil-lily cup this time, too but I don't know if I did it right.

🤣🤣🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ What a nightmare shopping trip! I've been eating so well but back to school again next week and we're very lucky. It's a fee paying school and we get snacks every break and lunch made for us. I don't know how I'm going to resist. It's so delicious.

We'll get there eventually!

Haha thanks chick! It's nice I can share my stories on here, makes things all memorable in time! How did you get on with a cup? I've seen a couple of stories with people on here using them but having to ring 111 cause they got it stuck, knowing my luck I would be a candidate for that to happen to 🙈

@CycloGoose @kaylsd both times I've got pregnant I've used a diva cup...
and shit myself that it's stuck. You have to birth it back out of it goes too high. Practising pushing for labour 😂😂😂😂😂 it can't actually go anywhere though. And makes it a whole less messy..nothing dripping down your leg 😅 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've been very quiet as I was having bad AF cramps! The witch has arrived but the first time I've ever been excited about it ?! As it means starting a new cycle and perhaps this cycle will be the month ! I have two cycles this month so Tarot lady could still be right! Especially with two cycles starting this month 😍😍

@els10 I have the fertil-lily one and it has a tail so it does come out! I don't know if I got it high enough though 🤢 and there was quite a lot of... Erm... Leftovers shall we say so I wasn't sure if any swimmers had made it through 🤣

@Genevive123 3dpo and counting. Feel sick as a dog but I think that's anxiety about being back in school and surrounded by a load of other teachers who haven't been taking the virus seriously 🤣 Tick tock, let's play the waiting game!

@genevive123 I'm not sure now! I think I'm kind of basking in the glow of not having to check daily for my ovulation... I was getting a bit obsessed. And I'm definitely ready for a break from BDing! 🤣

At least I know there is literally nothing I can do in this bit except take my pills and try to remain calm and positive. In the run up there seemed a lot to try and get right.

The app says I'd be due 20th November... Not much to do with my tarot but I do have 11 as a significant number and 21 and 25. Maybe I can have my baby on 25/11/21? I can spin August to being when we decided to conceive instead 🤣 We shall see. Feeling a bit more relaxed this time. I think... Until it gets closer to the crunch end!

CD36 BFN, now 7 days late with no sign of AF arriving, very frustrating! you really can convince yourself of things, yesterday I had sharp breast pains nothing like my usual PMS symptoms, and twinges on one side so thought maybe it was slightly later OV (although that probably wouldn't work out right with the dates we BD) but now clearly just PMS, come on AF hurry up!

@CycloGoose - snap! actual TWW and conception due date twins right here! Fingers crossed for longer LPs and hopefully baby dust! X

Does anyone else get a bit oversensitive around ovulation? I've had a very minor telling off at work and it's really upset me. Then we've been told our school is leaving the teachers' pension scheme which really sucks especially because I asked about it at interview and they said they wanted to stay in it.

I have a cb digital opk related question. First time user of the digi one
It says on the box that once u get peak u cant use the digital holder again? Is that true and Does that mean I cant buy any more replacements opk to use in it for future cycles??

@Iloveoreos you can't buy replacement sticks but I got a 20 pack with mine which was enough for 2 cycles. You can't test for another peak is what it means. Once you get your peak, you leave it until the smiley face goes away (48 hrs later) and then start using it again on the day it tells you to depending on the length of your cycle. Hope that makes sense.

So for a next cycle, you need to buy a new reader? I stopped using mine after the peak...was I meant to test again? X

Thats a bummer..it would have been cheaper to keep the reader and buy replacements :/
