Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

@CycloGoose

Static smiley for the weekend win! What a relief! Only had one stick left but I've been checking on the cheap ones and just used that to double check. Huzzah! At least there's two lines to celebrate at one stage in the cycle. Taking what I can get and going to dream of big fat bumble bees hahaha XXX happy weekend all xxx
Yeahhhhh! Good news! My temp is still steady after 3 days so looks like I'm like going to ovulate on time as per the app, either today or tomorrow. X
CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 09:23

Morning ladies!

@Genevive123 sorry about the bfn but still early to test so might not be out. Also you know you will probably be able to test on 27th march as well!! PS did you include the butterfly for @Sallyjo27 ?

@kaylsd very relieved not to be taunted any more and to have an end in sight for the regimented BD!

Men can just be so insensitive can't they. Glad you've woken up feeling refreshed. Definitely not sad about houseplants - I love them! Lidl is fantastic for value and quality - I've had lots from there. I also got an amazing one last year when my MIL was driving me mad. It's called mother in law's tongue and it makes me smile every time. Maybe you can nickname yours brother in law's tongue instead 🤣

You've said with yours as well that it would be great to have your anniversary party when you're not super super pregnant too so maybe that's why July is a good time for you. We never know though - like they say, our free will can change things all the time xxx

@Slinks8113 have you been doing cheap ones as well? It might be that you do ovulate a little earlier but your temp takes a while to rise? I think I ovulate almost immediately after my peak. Not sure. I woke up at 6 and did my bbt and it came out as 36.01 and then I tested again when I woke up properly at 8 and it was 36.61 so I don't think my readings are very accurate 🤦 Hope you're managing lots of successful BD!! Not sure I can face doing it tomorrow as well 🤣 TWW is on its way.

Genevive123 · 27/02/2021 09:32

@kaylsd Oooh that's not long at all! I'm hoping to conceive (not next cycle but the cycle after which begins on 29th of March) I will ovulate on around the 10th of April when which is my birthday! Also OH Mum's birthday is on the 24th of April - if we have a positive test by then that will be her birthday present :)!

July would be a great month to conceive as you wouldn't be HEAVILY pregnant over the summer either.

No plans for my birthday in lockdown, 2nd birthday in lockdown :p just going to be DTD every day I think ;)

Hopefully we can stick to the road map and we're out of lockdown by your birthday!!

@CycloGoose Yes true it is super early still but I thought with an FRER it would show up if I was? Will give it until AF comes now. Due 3rd, which was also one of my significant numbers haha! I actually didn't notice the butterfly until I posted it then immediately thought!!

minthumbugs · 27/02/2021 11:07

Feeling a bit disheartened today. Has anyone ever heard of a 13 day cycle? 13?!

I've been spotting on and off this cycle and have had fresh red blood today - surely not back to CD1 already ☹️

Slinks8113 · 27/02/2021 13:28

@CycloGoose we've just managed every other day to be honest. Since January we've been trying to eat healthy and been doing pt sessions on zoom and it's actually killing both of us haha. Weight is coming off though so that would be the only positive if it doesn't happen this month, still got a while to lose a bit more!
What's everyone up to today? The guy we got our two dogs from has just had another litter so we're going to see the pups from a distance this afternoon, it'll be very hard to not add another to the family 😂🙈 this is bounty and wispa 😍 so we'd need another chocolate name to add to the family 😂 x

Never had a 13 day cycle but it could be spotting which can be fairly normal. Have you just come off the pill or changed something recently? Vitamins used to play havoc with mine x
CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 16:11

@Slinks8113 such cute doggos! So lovely to be able to see the pups. My parents breed Bernese mountain dogs and they've just had puppies too.

@minthumbugs it could be so many things. Try to stay calm and keep track of your symptoms so you can talk to your doctor if you need to xxx

minthumbugs · 27/02/2021 16:58

@Slinks8113 thanks, I do normally have a bit of spotting at the end of my cycle which would be about 2 weeks from now so defs not the usual for me. Had a MC in January so suppose everything is still settling down, just didn't expect this!

@CycloGoose totally tracking! I'm a crazy lady noting down every single way I feel and every change in my body lol. Unfortunately just going to have to wait it out and see what happens with this, just hope it doesn't delay things. 🤞🏻 Xx

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 17:07

@minthumbugs it's massively frustrating isn't it. It could even be early implantation bleeding. You're right. Not much can do at the moment. That's what I hate so much about it all. Really not a huge amount we can do to just control the situation! Drives me mad.

minthumbugs · 27/02/2021 17:09

@CycloGoose totally. It's all the waiting around being so uncertain of your own body but also so hyper-aware at the same time?! How long have you been trying if you don't mind me asking? X

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 17:15

@minthumbugs absolutely. Exactly that.

I came off the pill in August and we've been actively trying since. Didn't have a proper AF for 9 weeks so it's been 5 full cycles and on to the 6th. I've got everything crossed (bar my legs obviously 🤣🤣🤣) We've really ramped up efforts on that front the last couple of cycles.

How long were you trying before your MC? Xxx

minthumbugs · 27/02/2021 17:20

@CycloGoose Haha! Yep same! 9 weeks wow, it's crazy what our poor bodies must be going through. Not sure exactly how many cycles as wasn't doing any tracking etc at the time but it took about 4 months to conceive. Baby dust baby dust baby dust xx

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 17:43

I know @minthumbugs I really started freaking out but it came back eventually. I started out casually recording my periods on my Garmin app from my watch but I've got crazier and crazier each month we've not been successful. I've got a horrible feeling there's something wrong but I'm hoping that's pure paranoia.

Hopefully you'll conceive again quickly lovely. It's such a complicated journey. Baby dust indeed ✨✨✨✨✨✨

dulci379 · 27/02/2021 17:49

Hoping anyone might have any insights as feeling quite anxious and down about finding blood. We are currently TTC. I have regular periods, 29 day cycle. We DTD every night for 5 nights in a row during my recent fertile period, covering the 3 days leading up to ovulation as well as the 2 days where my clearblue ovulation sticks showed a peak and where I had egg white fluid. Yesterday morning (which would be roughly 2dpo) I had pink blood when I wiped. Apologies for TMI picture, but I’ve never had bleeding around ovulation before and surely this is way too early to be implantation bleeding? I had such a sadness at the thought of AF arriving 2 weeks early, as felt we gave ourselves the best shot this month, and AF coming this early has never happened before.
This morning again there was faint pink discharge. Does anyone think this is me out for the month? Could it be anything conception related? Might be clutching at straws, just trying to keep hopeful x

els10 · 27/02/2021 18:01

@dulci379 spotting during ovulation can be normal! Down to changes in hormones. Pink would be what you'd see as well so hopefully it's that!

lucea87 · 27/02/2021 18:07

@CycloGoose if you're into marvel it's good! We've enjoyed it.

Girls, I am surrounded by bunnies. Every time I look on Facebook, not even just waste related. Trying so hard not to read into it.

CD9 for me today.

Hope you're all doing ok.

BFP's coming this month for sure!

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 18:08

@dulci379 sounds like some normal spotting to me! I wouldn't count yourself out at all.

Hey @els10 nice to see you back! Are you keeping sane? Are you still spotting? Thinking of you xxx

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 18:11

I haven't really followed the marvel films @lucea87 but glad you are enjoying.

CD 9 so you must be BD like rabbits too! 🐰🐰🐰🐰

minthumbugs · 27/02/2021 18:46

@dulci379 you sound in a similar position as me! Except I haven't ovulated (don't think so anyway, no positive OPK). It's such a sinking feeling, especially when it's at an unexpected time!

My fingers are crossed for you. X

lucea87 · 27/02/2021 20:54

@CycloGoose

I haven't really followed the marvel films *@lucea87* but glad you are enjoying.

😂😂 a little but I don't start OPKs until Wednesday, 34 day cycle over here. I should ovulate in around 11 days, we're doing SMEP this month so gonna be every other day from next Friday then 9,10,11th hopefully 🤞🏼 OH has had plenty warning
Sallyjo27 · 27/02/2021 21:18

@lucea87 I’m obsessed with Wandavision!! And marvel! We had our table names at our wedding as the infinity stones 😂 did you watch the episode realised last night??

So I tested today 🙄🙈 I’m 7dpo and this there was an evap line on the FRER but there’s a definite line on the clear blue although it is faint I think it’s a dye run. I obviously love pissing my money away too 😂. I’m was going to try and not test until Monday but I’m. It going to lie, I’ll be testing again tomorrow 😂

els10 · 27/02/2021 21:29

@CycloGoose Not sane, but I think that's all part of this process right?! Spotting has stopped, I've had none since Tuesday. Going to test on Thursday again, I hope so much it's nice and strong. Im constantly starving and have really sensitive nipples so let's hope this is all good signs!
@Sallyjo27 Use your cheapies!!

Sallyjo27 · 27/02/2021 21:46

@els10 I did lol I did one of each. The cheapie was completely negative so thinking the others must be evaps. In my previous pregnancies I’ve never really had a dark cheapie until 5 weeks when I’ve had dye stealers with clearblue or FRER

OP posts:
els10 · 27/02/2021 21:52

@Sallyjo27 yeah cheapies definitely aren't as sensitive! It just satisfies my craving to dip a stick though haha. I've never seen an FRER evap though.. I'm hoping you're onto something 🤞🏼

CycloGoose · 27/02/2021 23:28

Oh @lucea87 ohhh yes, that would be a long time to SMEP! We've almost done it but not sure I can face tomorrow (3rd day in a row) or the just in case one either. I'm done in!

@els10 very good signs. Hope all continues the same way. Well... With less drama!

Ooooooh @sallyjo27 keep us in the loop! Everything crossed for you and hope the progesterone pays off! Xxx
