Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

@Slinks8113 oh my gosh I had a reading from Jade Roberts Tarot also!! Is she accurate have you had any experiences with her ?? X

NatMoz · 21/02/2021 21:36

Hello! Think I fit in here.

Started trying in June 2020. Fell pregnant early Jan 2021 but have just had a miscarriage. Bleeding has finished now so we've decided to crack on with trying again.

No idea when my ovulation day is, just going for it.

I'm 31.

Slinks8113 · 21/02/2021 22:12

@Genevive123 this is first time so will wait and see. She said April for me and pigs would be the sign 🤷🏼‍♀️ oh and a girl! X

Genevive123 · 21/02/2021 22:14

@Slinks8113 Ooooh !

Mine was this (attached pic)

I've had some weird experiences already haha was walking my dog the other day, he never barks on a walk and started barking frantically, it was only a palm tree plant blowing in the wind !!

@NatMoz sorry to hear about your loss, I also miscarried in December :( baby dust to you x

Slinks8113 · 21/02/2021 22:17

@Genevive123 oh how interesting!! I'm not sure how much I believe in it but I saw someone on another thread talk about it and thought what the heck :) it's kinda destressed me a little for now so can't complain 😂
Not sure where I'm gonna see a pig though 😂🙈

Genevive123 · 21/02/2021 22:22

@Slinks8113

I'm totally the same haha I'm not sure how much I believe it!!

But I think I'm looking for it to happen which doesn't help?

I am due on my period on the 3rd of March, bd on the 12th so going to test on the 27th! Haha also if it is the case this month, baby would be due 12th November!! All super strange hahaha! She's got some very good reviews though? I'll let you know if it happens for me this month or even next month! It does make you excited though doesn't it haha xx

It's been busy on here tonight! Hello new ladies ✨✨✨ Sorry to hear of your loss @natmoz

@kaylsd keep us updated

Back to school blues xxx night all

Sallyjo27 · 22/02/2021 07:21

@NatMoz hi welcome! I’m so sorry to hear of your loss, a few of us here have had miscarriages, I had my 4th MMC in December. It’s heartbreaking. But I think desperation for a child is keeping me going.

Just a quick recommendation to those who have had miscarriages- there’s a podcast, Facebook groups and Instagram called the worst girl gang ever. I can’t recommend it enough xxx

Absolutely!! 😂 will also check out that podcast!
@CycloGoose emojis may be the next closest thing!

Well I'm still on a flashy smiley face CD14 and tried to DTD this morning but think he was feeling the pressure so might need to knock SMEP on the head 🙈😂 day 2 and we've realised it's quite tough! And I'm nearly late for work 😂

CycloGoose · 22/02/2021 08:52

@Slinks8113 yes my poor husband is definitely feeling the pressure too! He rose to the occasion 😂🤣😉 bless him but it took some perseverance to get the desired outcome. Oh dear it shouldn't be funny but it kind of is.

I think every other day is much more realistic. And, even with SMEP it's EOD until solid smiley so don't beat yourself up about it too much.

I think I must ovulate almost instantly after positive OPK given my luteal phase but I'm not temping any more so can't be sure.

@Sallyjo27 I can't even bear to think about it and what you must have been through. All the effort just to get a BFP seems hard enough. Have you been offered any testing?

Do you know what I've clearly misinterpreted the SMEP 😂🙈 I'll lay off him for a bit then 😂😂

Motherduck9 · 22/02/2021 12:46

CD32 and still no AF but I have the symptoms just not as bad as normal and have been having them for 4-5 days now. Did take two tests but only at 10-11DPO (I ovulated on day 17) and they were both very clear BFN.
I never have cycles this long and haven’t felt well all week and can’t stop eating or going for a wee. Surely I can’t be making this all up in my head!!! I am gonna do a CB digital today and see what it says.

Slinks8113 · 22/02/2021 13:02

@Penguin143 sounds like it could be good news! 10dpo may have been too early. Good luck for the digital test, let us know :) x

CycloGoose · 22/02/2021 13:34

You say that and then you'll probably get your static today!!

I've just been looking at the Ivy tests as well that fermometer do. Wondering if I might try those next cycle if bfn again this month.

I'm really hoping @kaylsd is okay

@penguin143 it could easily be the stress of worrying about it making your cycle go dodge, especially if you've been unwell. Though you should be 15 dpo if your tracking was right so a good time to test now! I would do a FRER first response if you can get hold of one as they are much more sensitive than CB. Dodgy cycles do happen (I had a random short one last month) but lots of love and baby dust.

Think I'm going to join the tarot brigade 🤣

ALittleOCD · 22/02/2021 13:37

Hey Everyone,

I never thought I'd be so OCD so early in this process. Such a weird feeling and so tough when you don't want to talk to your family about it and have them asking a bunch of questions.

I had my IUD removed in December and we sort of winged it for Dec & Jan. Feb I used an ovulation kit and it was literally a daily attempt for 4 days before and 2 days after just to make sure we give ourselves the best chance. I have a 28 day cycle and ovulated exactly on the day my app said I would (confirmed with test strip) and I'm currently 12DPO, AF due tomorrow. I could say every symptom points towards BFP but also, I just really want it to be so what's new. Also been testing every day since 9DPO because I actually can't help myself.

Any cramp I feel, I feel it could be AF. Still have hope though, just needed to get my nutso thoughts out of my head.

CycloGoose · 22/02/2021 13:51

@ALittleOCD hello lovely! Sounds like you have everything under control and doing all the right things. Fingers crossed for you!

You may find that your AF isn't due for another 2 days if you're 12dpo so don't stress too much if you see bfn for a bit longer but no AF.

It's so hard when you decide to try because you just want it straight away don't you. I think I'd get put in a strait jacket if anyone came to check on my Google history 😂😂😂

We're here for you though so don't worry about not having anyone to talk to. These pages have been so helpful to me xxx

Thank you so much @CycloGoose.

Oh my goodness. Google.. I don't know whether it's great or terrible to have at our fingertips Blush.

lucea87 · 22/02/2021 14:09

😂😂😂 this talk of SMEP and performance is worrying me haha! My OH has started a new job and after spending 6 out of the last 12 months either furloughed or unemployed he is knackered, hoping he's snapped out of it in a couple of weeks when it's go time!!

Have we seen any palm trees or pigs yet?! No rabbits yet for me....!

Sorry to hear of your loss @NatMoz ❤️

@Penguin143 you are me a week ago! So frustrating! I randomly had a cycle 2 weeks longer than normal 🤬 currently on CD4 of my next cycle itching to get going again!

Genevive123 · 22/02/2021 14:13

@lucea87

I actually have had palm trees !! Was walking my dog a few days ago and my dog started frantically barking (he never does that) he was only barking at a palm tree plant in someone's garden, I genuinely started shaking 😂😂😂

DoveGreylove · 22/02/2021 14:21

Hi everyone can I join you all?
I'm TTC #2 first cycle. 35 years old.
I didn't use Opks this month which I really regret. We are dtd every other day from cycle day 13 (I know we should have started earlier, but I don't usually ovulate until day 17+). I'm now cycle day 22. No idea when I ovulated!! My cycles have also been irregular since my period returned after having baby #1... So I feel like I'm in the dark with it all.

I went by EWCM though so fingers crossed we may have caught it at some point.

Congrats to all the BFPs and baby dust to everyone X

CycloGoose · 22/02/2021 14:37

Hello @DoveGreylove if you got it -magic! If not, I wouldn't stress too much as it only makes things worse (easier said than done) and ewcm is really worthwhile. I can't do it because I can't tell difference between what's mine and what's his 🤢

The readings have gone up in price now! £25 for what you guys are sharing. I'd have done it at the offer price but that's a bit steep!

Sallyjo27 · 22/02/2021 17:17

@CycloGoose yes loads lol, I’ve had blood clotting screaming, immune antibodies tested, AMH, thyroid, progesterone, ultrasound of womb and ovaries and my husband had a sperm analysis. Our “products of conception” (I hate that term) on my 3rd miscarriage was tested any no cause found. They don’t know what’s wrong but I’ve got to have clexane injections, steroids, progesterone and aspirin when I get pregnant next so fingers crossed that will work x

CycloGoose · 22/02/2021 17:38

Sorry @Sallyjo27 I did read that in your OP as well. Must be frustrating typing it all out again.
I really hope it all works for you this time. I can't imagine 4 in 18 months as well. That's heartbreaking. Surely something in that concoction will help you carry to term.
I imagine that IVF not even helpful as you're getting pregnant just fine. Wish I had a magic wand for you and all the other ladies going through similar pain.
Seems like lots of success on this lovely thread you started and hopefully that it's a lucky thread for us all. It's certainly helped me already. Massive sense of support that I was lacking so thank you xxx
