11dpo and still BFN - anyone else waiting for that line

Come and keep me company whilst we anxiously test together I’m currently 11dpo, ttc my first. How’s everyone doing? How many dpo are you and when is AF due?

Meeee! I tested yesterday and got the faintest of lines, tested today and it's a BFN. I think it was an evap sadly. I'm keeping our fingers crossed for us!

I tested on 11 DPO two days ago but because of the BFN i was just a bit gutted. I know if i keep testing ill lose hope.. so im just going to wait it out till this friday xx

Just try and test again...i hate when evap lines come up ...hopefully youll get a BFP x

I wish I had the willpower to wait and not test early because like you say @sadz it does make you feel a bit gutted. I might try and not test for a day or two but Let’s be honest I’ll probably be back here in the morning with my BFN

Hi 👋 currently approx. 7dpo as of today. Not feeling very hopeful as no symptoms.. trying hard not to POAS like a crazy lady. I already did one at approx. 5dpo (yes I’m THAT crazy!!) and of course was negative.. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@cupofteamakeseverythingbetter trust me im holding myself back from taking another test... it definitely isnt easy xx

i did note down a few symptoms a few days after my ovulation i was getting lots of cramps and i dont get cramps before my period... and really bad headaches for a week.. this week i feel like my appetite has increased and im getting lower back pain... but im just not sure if its my body playing up ...what about you? Xx

@farfaraway1 haha i think we all have gone through that phase... ive heard many stories where people dont have any symptoms so dont overthink that too much... sprinkling baby dust to you xx

@sadz I’ve had very similar symptoms to you! Lower back ache just after ovulation for quite a few days and on day 6dpo and 7dpo I had cramping and twinges in the evening. I went to bed yesterday with a headache which I never normally suffer with so I’m hoping all of these are positives that will lead to BFP!

Thanks @sadz! Have been through bit of a journey since Feb last year so definitely ready for a BFP! Until then I’m living life and eating and drinking all the naughty things until a BFP puts a stop to it 🙊😁

no symptoms at all this month. The last few months were I've been convinced I'm pregnant I had symptoms like sore nipples, aches, cramps etc but this month nothing which gives me hope that I'm actually pregnant this time? 😂 wishful thinking I know!

@ohsheglows literally that was me for the last few months i was convinced im pregnant ...but it was my body playing mind tricks on me and watching 100s of TTC videos on youtube doesnt help haha...ive just come to accept that each body is different some people get soo many symptoms and some dont at all so i dont even really track the symptoms anymore.

@sadz I swear TTC makes you crazy with all the symptom spotting haha. I don't even know what dpo I am now because this month I decided to throw out my opk sticks and DTD every 2 days.

How long have you been trying? When are you next going to test?

Hi ladies can I join. I find these groups so helpful. Ttc first and in cycle 7.
Currently on 11dpo and got a BFN yesterday. My periods cycles are never this long, currently on cd33 and darent test again. So heartbreaking.

Hi @DeeDee20 welcome I’m on 11dpo too and I also got BFN this morning 🙈 when are you going to test again? I have fairly short cycles (26 days) so am due AF on Friday 8th. In an ideal world, I’d hold out testing again until I’m late but I just don’t have the patience for that 😁 do you have any symptoms? Xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter Hey! Thank you. My period was due at the weekend, tested on Sunday thinking this is Defo it but no BFN. My periods are usually 29 days but last month it came on day 34! I do not know what on Earth is happening.
I don’t know how but I don’t think I’m going to test again until Friday. I have the usual period pains but they aren’t as painful. Do you have any symptoms? Xx

@ohsheglows DTD every 2 days should surely put you in a good position to have a BFP this month! Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter thanks! I'm not holding out much hope as I have low follicle count so conception is very difficult for me, but miracles do happen eh!

@ohsheglows thank you. And you too. We dtd every other day for 2 weeks over the ovulation period. Well I hope so.
So hard to keep distracted xx

@DeeDee20 just wondering if you have been taking the pregnacare pre-conception vitamins? I've been taking them and now I've been hearing stories of them messing with women's cycle and making them longer! I'm still taking them but I'm going to keep an eye on my cycle lengths to see. Hopefully all will be fine as lots of women have fallen pregnant whilst taking them. Just thought I'd mention it as a possible cause for longer cycle.

Maybe the pains are a good sign and if they're not the usual period pain hopefully it will mean a BFP for you very soon

I had back ache for a few days after ovulation and on 6dpo and 7dpo I had cramping and ovary twinges in the evening. Yesterday morning my boobs felt a little tender but all that has gone away really. All these "symptoms" are so minute really, are they all just wishful thinking?
