Hi ladies,

I’m new to this and would really appreciate your help. This is my first month TTC. I’m currently on CD4 so still middle of my period. Just wondering what helped you all conceive in your first month of trying and any tips you have. I have clearblue OPK ready and have been tracking my cycles for a which vary from 27-34 day cycles with 2 random 45 day cycles one of them being my last cycle.

Anyone else TTC this month?

@PineappleSun WOW... defo a line there :) Congratulations. That is super exciting.

I have done another FRER test this morning... I just can't help myself. I'm due AF Monday/Tuesday so wouldn't of thought it unreasonable to test today and I don't know if I see a faint line.

I have to have my torch on my phone and move it in a certain direction. I took a pic but you literally cannot see anything on the pic so think I may be going crazy!!

@Kittysw I hope its something for you. Everything crossed. They say wait a couple days and try again.

On my FRER there was a line there (colourless... an indent I guess) when I took it out the wrapper! Didn't expect that from a FRER got to admit.

After my BFN yesterday I'm refusing until AF comes (or more specifically she doesn't...) definitely feeling AF and not pregnant. She's due Monday/Tuesday.

@Annabelle0852 Yeh I'm 100% going to wait until at least Sunday morning. I have never seen that before with FRER ones.

I will try my best to hold off until Monday actually I think that is a better idea. Not convinced I will be able to wait though.

Thanks for your congratulations everyone but I think it's a little early yet, I'm convinced it's just an evaporation line. I'm going to go and get a bells and whistles digital test tonight and do it tomorrow morning. I've been having some very AF like cramps this afternoon so I might be out this month yet.

So we were sat eating dinner tonight and my DF asked how come I didn't have the same as him. I told him it was making me feel kinda nauseous so didn't want it. He then proceeds to say hum... you have been feeling a bit off for a while... (head in hands emoji) Then goes you could be pregnant. I replied well that is kind of the idea atm... He then goes on to say well have you tested I said yes but BFN :( but explained its probably too early atm.

He then says oh your really quite serious about this aren't you... I just didn't know what to say!!

He does just bumble his way through life. He's very intelligent so has ZERO common sense which usually results in him saying things like the above.

Don't worry @Kittysw , other halves are a bit dim sometimes. And don't get the things we have to consider when TTC in terms of the tracking we gotta do! Keep strong babes

I'm ok. Ate far too much. Boobs feel tender this eve but I usually get that near AF

@Kittysw Men are totally dim. 😑 Don't read anything into it. BFP or AF you're hormonal (trust me, I am!)... I'm sure he didn't mean it quite how he said.

I was sleep deprived the other day and snapped at OH. He looked at me very seriously and said "Are you on your period?" Just as I was about to explode a la Chernobyl, he added, "Are you upset you're not pregnant?" And went in for a hug.

It was kind of sweet but I did have to explain to him that, no darling, 3 days after I've ovulated is NOT AF time. Men don't seem to have a clue about these things...

Oh god I think I would have exploded and then reasoned it out afterwards. They really are oblivious aren't they.

@PineappleSun That's really rubbish. I do wonder how accurate some of the own branded ones are. Finger crossed you can get a different digital with a BFP.

Woken up this morning with what feels like super mild cramps so I feel like AF is on the way. :( Will be a little early but not overly surprising as it was the same last month randomly. Still feeling a little nauseous too though which is unusual.

DH has just arrived with a clearblue. I think I'll just do it lest I go insane

@PineappleSun oh gosh that's so frustrating! You'd really hope that products such as pregnancy tests would work correctly when there's often so much hope going into them (either way!) got everything crossed for you that you get something clear on the CB!

@kittysw oh men - of course you are taking it seriously 😂 let us know how you get on when you test again.

I am CD 8 today so just started doing the CB OPKs - low fertility as expected, hoping to see some high/peak next week - I'm definitely not spending any more on these ones now I've seen how cheap the little strips are on amazon! My intention is to just do them this month and maybe next to get any idea if I am ovulating as have just come off pill in Dec. We'll see!
