I have made a new thread as the last one is almost full. I hope this ok @apwilso and have added as many people as I could find to it.

Hi ladies! Please can I have your expertise... I don't a hpt this morning but my 2yr old woke up so I couldn't read the results in the time frame as u got distracted doing breakfast etc. Could this be a bfp or evaps?? Has anyone had evaps like these before? I'm trying my hardest not to get too excited. It's been a long time trying!! Af is due tomorrow and I will take another test in the morning.

@LRW26 this is cycle 6 of properly trying now, but have been off bc since July. Not as long as some, just feels like forever.

I know the feeling, I've spent so much this month on different vitamins & preseed (which we didn't even end up using!). Also been forcing myself to eat pineapple core haha

I’ve never heard of pineapple core? 😂 we’ll try anything won’t we haha.

This is cycle 13 for me and just over a year and a half of BC but I was on it for 10 years so feel that might’ve done something 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think if the OH gets a SA test and it comes back normal I might see what we need to do to be referred but they might not refer us if our tests are normal.. who knows 🙈

@laura2093 it’s so hard isn’t it but that’s brill that you’ve managed to get referred quickly. Did all your initial tests come back normal? Just wondering if they’ll knock us back if we asked to get referred if OH SA came back normal.

Yes, he was fab at pushing it through- I'm hoping they call tomorrow if not I can ring them from Monday.

All my tests were done first and all were fine xxx

@LRW26 We tried preseed for the first time last month so I completely agree that it’s so disheartening when thing don’t work, especially as it all costs money with no guaranteed results.

I’ve eaten pineapple core this month so I’ll see if any joy there! I’ve attached a photo explaining why it might be helpful, and at least it’s not expensive and is only done over a few days! 🙂

Regarding tests, even if all comes back normal you should still get referred because depending on how long you’ve been trying for and your age it can count as ‘unexplained fertility.’

My OH wasn’t thrilled about doing a SA but considering everything the woman has to go through he knew it was the least he could do!

We’re in the tww of Cycle 20 ☹️ It is hard to see friends that started at the same time as me or after me all have their babies now. I don’t want to see any of them or hear about them, it really sucks to feel this way and not be able to fully participate in their joy.

Thanks for the information on the pineapple core, I might give it a go next cycle although OH might think I’ve officially gone TTC crazy 😂 but I’ll do anything so worth a shot.

Yeah OH knows he’s got to do it because we won’t be referred until he does but it’s just awkward and I do understand but it’s just got to be done.

Have you been referred? What’s the process of you have? We’re only 26 and 27 so just worried we might not be taken seriously. I’ve already had a doctor tell me ‘your young, fit and healthy, you’ll be fine 🙄😡’ which was very frustrating.

It’s so hard to see people around you get pregnant and have babies. I’ve had 4 people in my family alone get pregnant since we’ve been trying and I feel awful that I struggle to be happy for them, it’s the worse feeling. X

@LRW26 I’m 36 (37 in June) and OH is 31, so time is def not on my side.
I think we’d been trying for a year and just told GP and I started having blood tests, OH had his SA, they also checked me for chlamydia etc and I had a smear test. They look at loads of things! My most recent was the transvaginal scan where they look at the ovaries and womb lining- that was really interesting. My next one is to look at the Fallopian tubes and then I think I’ve done all the tests!😬 I imagine I will go down the ivf route.
By the way the doctor doing my scan was completely unfazed and even though it had been 18 months at that point she said “It just takes time.”

@tabbycat92 it was an IC I got a line on first too . Try posting through a web browser rather than the app. For some reason the app doesn't let me post pictures . Have everything crossed for you xx

My lower back is soooo achey today, and im feeling nauseous (though that could be from the nerves/excitement)

@Tabbycat92 ah that's amazing! I can deffo see something try to stay calm and test again in the morning. You're very lucky to get something so early I got a BFN at 10dpo and then my positive the next day on a CB early test. Got my fingers crossed for you xx

@Tabbycat92 not bad thanks constantly bloated, nauseous feeling, eating everything in sight but also gagging when I open the fridge, constipated but also get this feeling that I'm going to sh*t myself (thankfully I don't after I quick waddle to the toilet 🤣) but yeah other than that I'm fine haha

You have this all to look forward the first trimester is definitely it glamorous 🤣 I'm 12 weeks this Sunday and have my 12weeks scan next Friday so nerves are setting in for that will be looking forward to the second trimester where I hope to start feeling a lot better

@tabbycat92 can definitely see something on the cheapie. The frer I think it is my phone as doesn't let me zoom in. Take another in the morning and see if it is stronger. I got a good line on a frer at 11dpo. The cheapie at 10 dpo was pretty faint and then stronger on 11dpo. It does take 2 days to double the hormone though so don't worry if it isn't noticeably darker x

@Dex1521 haha looking forward to it all! Although it was only 3 years ago I can't remember a lot from my first pregnancy! Especially not the early days anyway

@Dex1521 yeah I have an almost 3 year old son. Like me you'll forget all about it when it comes to wanting another 😅 I feel like a complete newbie to this all, as I feel pregnant without trying with him, so this is all so different already looking for symptoms etc.

@tabbycat92 I have so many too. U did about 30 tests 🤣 . Have stopped testing now though 🤣 I am good . Had a scan on Monday and all is well and now 8 weeks. The sickness and nausea is awful just now and no idea why it is called morning sickness as mine is awful at night 🙈

@1992EM gahh sorry about the sickness, must be horrid. I luckily had none with my son, so hoping for the same!

Another positive this morning! Still faint but defo there! I'm happy with that seeing as it's only 10dpo 😁
