Hi girls, my first month of using cb opks. What time of day do you use them? The leaflet says in the morning, but have heard afternoon is the best for testing.

Hi Shazza you were right for me - I've been bd'ing! Then lead with my legs up for half an hour, even that takes some getting right!
Coupled with my face this morning I've had pains today so think they are OV pains. Lets hope we've timed it just right and that the egg wants to be hatched! Hope you wake up when DH get home!

Ladylush This is my first month using OPK's, did my first test this morning (CD10) and got . I'm a bit as didn't expect it quite yet.

DG & Starlight The cervical persuit baffles me, I suppose I should know my body better but just don't think I can bring myself to do that...yet!

I forgot to post earlier and just need to get it off my chest. I had a text message earlier from my friends husband to say they had another daughter born by c-section this morning (dd2). Of course I sent a congrats text back and am delighted for them but my god in the pit of my stomache I felt . I know over the next couple of weeks I will go and meet baby and I'm starting to find it really difficult to be around newborns. I say that because I've been around a few over the last few months and it is becoming increasing difficult.

i believe it best to use the opks at Midday

Well done MTW you are officially excused and no hard feelings about me being the only one on this thread last night with nobody to talk to .

Regarding being around babies, when I wanted to TTC and couldn't, I couldn't stop staring at babies and prams and thought they were all cute, now I've suddenly gone off them so was starting to panic that maybe I didn't want a baby after all, but I realised it's just my body putting up it's defences because I am resentful. So you are not alone MTW even if it does feel wrong.

After my plan to jump DP when he got home, the plan went to pot. I remember him trying to wake me when he got in but apparently I just grunted at him. So smacked wrist for me today.

CBFM CD11 another high, so that's 3 high days so far. Glad it wasn't a peak this morning else I would have been really disapointed about last night, but I'll jump him tonight instead. Still having pains so think something is definitely happening down there.

CD8 today....feels like an eternity until I hit the 'fertile phase' heheheheheh....

I have started reading this book TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY all about the FAM method. I wish I had found this book 5 months ago! It is excellent....I found out that we haven't been totally off track but there are minor adjustments to my calculations that hopefully will help.

Plus....I understand so much more about my cycle now and it has reassured me that I probably am ovulating as my BBT charts match those of women with normal cycles! Hooray!

I highly recommend this book!

hey anniemac how are you doing? good to hear that your appointment went well and good luck for scan. Well i'm still her waiting for af, looks like i'm in for another long cycle. loads of af cramps so definitely not in the running this month! role on cycle 12!!!x

DG that is a very good book but I am very undisciplined to chart everything, if my fertility wasn't so bad I probably would have a huge brood by know given our lack of care.

Hi sfxmum - I think we are cycle buddies judging by the list. Do you have a cycle of around 28 days? I do and have tested but the test didn;t work today. Think I'll wait until tomorrow and test again if AF doesn;t arrive. Are you testing today? I am sorry that you have PCOS. Fingers crossed for you this month.

hi GryffinGirl cycle buddy mine is longer more like 30days. sorry about test.

PCOS has been ok as long as I keep active and keep weight controlled within acceptable limits.
