No eating out, no cocktails, no socialising... I’m hoping that the dreaded lock down month will be the month we get lucky. Anyone else care to join me? Smile

@Smusty14 hopefully you get your peak soon. Scotland looks like it will be in a lockdown next week or at least the area I live in will be. I have made the most of being able to get Christmas things this weekend 🤣.

2021hopeful · 19/11/2020 21:38

Half way through lockdown (hopefully!) here in England! How’s everyone getting on? Smile

Smushty14 · 19/11/2020 21:40

@2021hopeful Are we really half way already?!

All good here! I think we have had a good month this time, now CD16 but trying to think positively and eat all the pineapple.

9 days to go until my birthday too 🎉

How are you getting on?

Smushty14 · 19/11/2020 21:42

Oh I also reckon I'm 2 dpo but as I didn't do any tests I can't know for sure

2021hopeful · 19/11/2020 21:49

@Smushty14 fingers crossed for a birthday positive!!!! How amazing would that be!!!!

I think I’m about 6dpo. I am determined to not test this month and just wait for AF to arrive. The 2ww really drags doesn’t it?! Particularly in lockdown!!!

I’ve got a blood test tomorrow to check I ovulated so really hoping that offers some reassurance.

Sadly no lockdown baby making for us as it transpired I still have retained endometrium after a medical management and an NVA.

I've been told I need to go back on Tuesday for another scan & internal, then they will decide if I can get a D&C. Genuinely at my wits end at the moment.

Feeling so hopeless Sad

2021hopeful · 20/11/2020 06:34

@sakuramiyagi I’m so sorry to hear that, I can’t imagine how you must be feeling.

Sending you love Flowers

@2021hopeful unfortunately I think I'll be a bit too early for a birthday positive but we shall see!

Ooh only 4 days ahead of me! Have you decided when to test then?

Hopefully the blood test goes well!

@sakuramiyagi I'm so sorry lovely. It's not easy at all. I had a medical management around 7 years ago and unfortunately it didn't work and I had to go in for a D&C. I do wish I had just had the D&C in the first place x

Is anyone else trying for number 3 (or 4!)? I had an unplanned pregnancy that ended in m/c which was a total shock all round and then prompted us into actually trying for another child. We already have two boys who are 3 and 6 so decided to see what happens, so far that has ended in a chemical pregnancy and this is month two. I am feeling like if it doesn't happen this month I might just decided it really wasn't meant to be.

1992EM · 21/11/2020 18:50

How is everybody? Anyone close to testing?
I am 9dpo today and not planning to test until a week today (if AF has not shown by then ). Symptom spotting as usual x

2021hopeful · 22/11/2020 14:43

@JChina sorry to hear about your m/c. TTC is exhausting both mentally and physically.

I’m 8 or 9 dpo now but I’m pretty sure I’m out. Feel exactly the same as I do every month at this point. Since having the late miscarriage I get really bad stomach cramps a week before I’m due on and I’ve had the same this month. I’m usually a serial tester but am going to wait for AF to arrive this month.

I’m dreading Christmas and was really hoping I’d be pregnant again so there was a glimmer of hope instead of just bleakness.

How everyone else? Anyone close to testing? @1992EM I’m due on next Saturday too.

@2021hopeful sorry to hear you feel this way. You may have not implanted yet . It is still very early. I am actually due AF on Wednesday but won't test unless AF isn't here so first day I can test is Saturday as I don't like testing if I am going to work. Right now I am just assuming AF will start on Wednesday or Thursday. I am the same and would love to end this year with something positive. We are putting our tree up at the weekend and it is my partners birthday in a couple of weeks so would be lovely to have some good news .

Smushty14 · 23/11/2020 08:32

@1992EM I wish I was close to testing 🤣 I feel like Black Friday may be a stock up day of tests and bits. 6dpo today, I feel a bit different but can't put my finger on it. Probably absolutely nothing but good old symptom spotting!

I must admit I am looking forward to putting the tree up. My partner has already eaten an entire tub of celebrations so part of me wants to replace it and then part of me thinks well they are only going to get eaten anyway!

@2021hopeful This two week wait really does suck... if only someone could invent a way to know immediately whether it worked or not - us ladies would spend a fortune to not have to wait

1992EM · 23/11/2020 19:10

@Smushty I can't wait to get my tree up . I love Christmas and feel I may as well go all out since it has been a rubbish year anyway 🤣 any excuse.

11dpo and really dizzy today . Nothing much else but had no spotting which is unusual as according to flo each month I have always had spotting on 11dpo and 12dpo and then AF comes on 13dpo . Trying not to get my hopes up though x

GeorgiaMcGraw · 23/11/2020 19:14

Hi everyone, month 4 of ttc here. Started using opk, i didn't realise it would only show up a line 24 hrs before ovulation. I may just have a v cheap brand though. I'm pretty sure we've been dtd in the right days of the month though, but wanted the reassurance of opk. It's been dispiriting, 2 months I've had implantation bleeds and lots of symptoms, then AF comes along! Fingers crossed we all get sone happy results during lockdown/tiers/whatever the feck happens next!

Smushty14 · 23/11/2020 19:54

@1992EM I feel exactly the same 🤣🎄Ooh thats positive! Hopefully it stays the same tomorrow and by the end of this week we have some great news!!

@GeorgiaMcGraw That's good that you think you have done the deed on the right days. Fingers crossed this month is the month

1992EM · 23/11/2020 20:05

@Smushty14 Fingers crossed . Will see what happens . I wish we could look inside our bodies and see what is happening.

Smushty14 · 23/11/2020 20:12

@1992EM It would be awesome if we could have "ding ding" ovulation occurred. "Ding ding" egg fertilised. "Ding ding" implantation 🤣🤣🤣

1992EM · 23/11/2020 20:38

@Smushty14 that would be amazing 🤣

2021hopeful · 25/11/2020 22:11

How’s everyone getting on? Anyone nearing testing dates? 12dpo and have resisted the urge to poas! Zero symptoms so pretty sure this lockdown won’t have been a lucky one for us but on the plus side my first set of bloods came back showing I am defo ovulating. A huge relieve! Smile

2021hopeful · 25/11/2020 22:11

Relief! Jeez... 🤦‍♀️

OP posts:
GeorgiaMcGraw · 25/11/2020 22:21

@2021hopeful glad your bloods came back fine! I've just started using opk and have a positive line today. Means im ovulating a bit kater than expected, so im glad i bought the opks in the end.

Smushty14 · 25/11/2020 22:38

@2021hopeful how are you managing?! Ahaha based on my resting heart rate I reckon I'm 9dpo today. I think I implanted 7dpo based on my heart rate dip so I'm thinking if I test tomorrow on a FRER it might show a little something? But then again I also don't want to test just in case I'm too early 🙈🤣

Amazing news that you ovulated!!!

@GeorgiaMcGraw ooh that's positive! Where CD are you?

2021hopeful · 25/11/2020 23:31

@GeorgiaMcGraw good news about the positive OPK. Busy few days for you hey?! Wink

@Smushty14 oooh, that’s exciting. Please let us know how you get on. Do you have any symptoms?

OP posts:
Smushty14 · 26/11/2020 07:16

@2021hopeful I'm really bloated, even first thing in the morning which for me is when I'm always at my slimmest (even though I'm still in the overweight category according to BMI 🙄)

I've had lots of creamy CM which reading about seems to be leukorrhea?

Heart rate has gone up again too!

I kinda want to test now and also don't at the same time 🙈🤣
