Lockdown baby making...?!?!

No eating out, no cocktails, no socialising... I’m hoping that the dreaded lock down month will be the month we get lucky. Anyone else care to join me?

How’s everyone getting on? Day 8 for us so we’re going to attempt to dtd every other day from now.
Wish I worked from home! Haha.

The GP has also booked me in to have some bloods done to check I’m ovulating etc. Apparently because of my age they only make you wait 6 months before doing tests. Hopefully that will offer some reassurance.

@2021hopeful I am on CD12 so likely to ovulate within the next week plan to dtd as often as we can . Hope all goes well for you and test come back alright 💕

@2021hopeful Good luck with your impressive dtd schedule! I know its tough getting the energy when you are at work all day.

I think I'm on 6dpo today, maybe 7. Lots of crampy, stretchy feelings down below.

CD4 for me and still struggling with good old period pain. Hopefully should be over with tomorrow though.

Good luck @2021hopeful 🤞🏻 have they given you a date yet for those? It's good to see that they are still going ahead with them this lockdown.

@Smushty14 I haven't really got a plan . I would like to be able to do it every second day and then every day when I get a peak but need to convince the oh🤣 he hates the pressure but I don't really no how else to ensure we dtd the right times other than tell him . We work opposite shifts which doesn't help x

I hope you don’t mind me joining here too. I’ve just joined the site. I got married in September and came off Cerelle at the end of my pack the Sunday after my wedding. It took just over month to have my withdrawal bleed - I had naively assumed it would happen a lot sooner but we had started ttc immediately. I’ve never tracked my cycle before so it’s all new to me. I’m currently on day 8 of my cycle x

Can I join please I am due my af Monday but testing bfn today so would love to join the ttc lockdown party. I lost 2 during the previous lockdown and had a Cp last month so praying for a happy ending x

We’ve tried the SMEP before but read on here to just try doing it every other day. At this point I’ll give anything a shot.

Dry lockdown is dull!!!! Even worse than normal lockdown!!!

Hi @2021hopeful 9dpo today and I've got some faint lines on cheapies. I also got a blaring positive OPK today, which has left me confused. Might be pregnant, might be ovulating! Going to test tomorrow morning.

How about you?

I am now just waiting for ovulation should happen in the next couple of days. OPKS are a lot darker but not quite peak yet.

@AHobbyaweek The 2ww is a killer isn’t it? Any symptoms?

I’m on day 11... usually ovulate about day 15 so still early days here.

@1992EM it sounds like we’re at a similar point in the month. My OPKs are definitely still negative.

Hi not ttc but wanted to say have a look at Agnus Castus/vitex it's a herb that regulates hormones. That and Conceive Plus/pressed = 2dc for us. Might be worth looking at. Good luck all!

2021hopeful sounds like it. Least we will be able to compare symptoms 🤣. I should peak between tomorrow and Friday . I usually peak around day 16 which is tomorrow . I hope it is as my oh works shifts at the weekend so during the week works out better for us x

@2021hopeful and @1992EM I think I’m at a similar point as you both. One app is telling me peak is today and another is giving me a bigger window, I don’t know. Other half refused to dtd today because he was too tired, really hope it doesn’t mean I’ve missed my window this month.

What OPKs are you all using? Would you recommend a particular one? X

@ALB1990 I use Ovaview strips from Amazon. I used clear blue digital for a few months too but they’re expensive! Hopefully you haven’t missed your window. 🤞🏼

@ALB1990 I use one step opks from Amazon. Clearblue ones are definitely the best but so expensive. I got one pack a few months ago in a deal and only use these when I hit peak on one step to confirm it and it always has. CB is easier to read as you either have a smiley face or a blank face so you can't go wrong.

My oh has done this to me in the past too . Its hard as I don't think they fully get you have such a small window and just think dtd whenever is fine.

I've got easy@home for this month--with the pre mom app to take pics of the test.

DH on furlough again so we're going to try for twice a day during the peak, also going to use my mooncup and eat pineapple core every day for 5 days after ov.

Going all guns this month 🤣

Had my peak today . Which I am glad about as means I will hopefully ovulate tomorrow. We have dtd the last 3 days and will tomorrow. Hopefully that will cover all basis.

@1992EM sounds like you’re in for a good shot this month! Fingers crossed for you.

According to yesterday’s OPK it looks like today might be out peak so will hopefully ovulate Sunday or Monday. I’ve got my bloods on Friday too to check I am actually ovulating the another on day 3-5 of next months cycle to check my thyroid etc.

How’s everyone else getting on? Would be great if some of us tested positive this month!

@2021hopeful I hope all goes well with your tests. 2dpo here and fed up of the tww already. I am feeling really dizzy the last day or so (obviously not related) I wear glasses normally but have to now wear contacts as I need to wear a mask all day and think the combination of both is making me feel rubbish by the end of the day 🙈 I also had the flu jag this week so could be that and due my b12 jag on Monday so also could be that 🤣. My partner and I have agreed to take a few nights off dtd as we are both exhausted 🤣 . We have given it our all this month so hopefully pays off. X

Not much going on here either. Currently CD11 and got such a thrilling weekend in lockdown 🤣 nooooot!
