Two week wait - going crazy

I stupidly started testing WAYYY too early, at 6dpo, I’m now 8dpo, getting all negatives but having what I feel like are pregnancy symptoms. It’s my first month TTC so I don’t really know what I’m doing. When did everyone get their BFP’s? Please join the thread if you want to chat about the 2 week wait and symptoms

@3scompany at the moment 9th July 2021 but I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated i think it was earlier than predicted. I didn't use trackers or measure my temp so not sure when O happened!

@Char1803 ooh how exciting! Mine would be 16th July 2021. But I'm still a bit wary of dates because I had my coil out 30th sept and have had 2 periods (a week apart) between then and now. But I assume I'll have fallen after my second period on 11th Oct and I have 26 day cycles (I know I ov'd either 22-23 Oct) xxx

@3scompany just told DH how I've been feeling today and that I suspect but daren't say it for fear of jinxing it and I think we might test tomorrow morning with the FRER 🙈 I checked my fertility app and I didn't test positive on a cheapy until day 27 and I'm only day 24 today.

I'm already anxious thinking about it. I felt hungover this morning (I don't drink anymore), I've have had an undercurrent of nausea all day and my boobs have been sore all day. They've been on and off sore the last couple of days as well. So I'm keeping all my appendages crossed but also trying not to get my hopes up too high.

Thinking way ahead (as I always do) we will be 12 weeks on my birthday (new year's eve) so we might be able to give family and friends and very happy new year, that would be just perfect wouldn't it?

Hi guys can I join? I am 10dpo today of cycle #5. I've not been having many symtpoms this month, but I've had months where I've had SO many symtpoms and not been pregnant sooo I dunno.

I don't have any tests except one step internet cheapies which I did at 8dpo and was very negative. Thinking to just wait and see if AF shows or not... Due on Monday

I really hope you get your bfp tomorrow @Wils85 !! My boobs have been ridiculous the last 4/5days. So so sore. They've actually kept me awake! I'd be just under a week behind you so pending scan dates (all being well) I'd hope to make a New Years announcement too 🥰

@acaciabluebell hello! Don't lose hope. I tested yesterday with a FRER and was very negative and must've had a huge boost in hcg as today's result was instant and quite clear. So big fingers crossed for you too! Xx

Evening ladies!

I've done two tests today - a FRER this morning and a regular First Response test this afternoon both BFPs at 12dpo! I am genuinely shocked, scared and excited all at the same time. I have a clear blue digital to use but going to wait till next week to use it (also to see if little bean sticks) and tell my fiance.

@3scompany and @Char1803 biggest congratulations to you both If my ovulation and potential date of when I conceived (and looking at fertility friend app) I should be 12th July so right next to you guys!

@Wils85 biggest luck to you with your FRER, I have everything crossed for you!

@acaciabluebell don't lose hope yet, 8dpo is still early so retest in a few days, best of luck!

@3scompany ah how exciting, I will be 12 weeks on Christmas day so excited to announce!!! I'm really keen to tell my parents today but I'm just not sure if its a good idea given that I am only 4 weeks. Do you plan to tell anyone?

@JenC95 congrats!! The test on the top is so clear for 12dpo mine was still really faint then!! My clear blue digital showed positive 14dpo so you may not have to wait too long!!

This is a lovely feed I have seen so many with so many negative results its nice to see some positive ones!!

I've been getting quite pronounced cramping on and off today. I do get cramping before AF so most likely is just that.

@Wils85 and anyone who is in their TWW - when will you next be testing?

Testing today...I think! 🙈 I feel so anxious as I'm scared about the result and if it's negative that I look like an idiot (again) because how I've been feeling had made me think I am PG. I still have sore boobs this morning. @Char1803 mine aren't extremely sore but I know I have them and they don't hurt to touch and haven't kept me awake like @3scompany but then I don't remember them being that level of sore in my first pregnancy. I keep trying not to compare, as I know every pregnancy is different but it's so hard not to. I try to stop myself as well because neither previous pregnancy worked out so I don't want to jinx it. Tiring of this rollercoaster ride 😔

I have to wait a bit as in a sleepy state I went for a wee at 430 🤦🏻‍♀️ so going to try and hold for at least 4 hours and use a FRER

BFN for me this morning on a FRER. God knows what my body is doing as I feel shocking! Hey ho, not out til the fat lady sings but I'm just gonna wait it out now. No more testing xxx

@Char1803 I don't plan to tell anyone other than maybe work before 8 weeks. (When I'm hoping to have a reassurance scan: as long as places like that are still open!) what about you? Xxx

@Wils85 of you are not due AF till Wednesday you are still technically 5 days before missed AF so you still may not be out. I have everything crossed for you!!

@3scompany I told my sister in law as soon as I did as test because it was so faint I wasn't sure if it was positive and she already has 2 children so I checked with her 🤣 i also told my parents last night as I feel if anything went wrong I would want them to know and to have their support. But I won't be telling anyone else now until 12 weeks which will be close family and friends xx

@3scompany @Char1803 thanks ladies. I know it's early and Im still hopeful, time will tell. Struggling with reflux last night and today and that was a biggy in my last pregnancy. If I'm not PG then my body is crueller than I ever though!

@Wils85 that was the biggest sign for me (after my sore boobs) I started getting really gassy and acid reflux. Good luck honey xx

@Wils85 my biggest sign was sore boobs, not extremely sore or anything like that but definitely tender so hopefully you're in the same boat, it's still early days so fingers crossed for you!

Hi Ladies! My first post on here but so helpful to read people are feeling like me. So TTC#2 I’ve just turned 40. Ultra confused got a BFN earlier today which is weird as I feel pregnant so am v disappointed. So I am always regular cycle about 27-29 days. Day 27 got v light pinkish spotting/staining in liner lasted about 2.5 days on and off. My boobs are on fire 😳. Was not a typical period for me at all. It never went blood red or had a flow. Usually my boobs stop hurting as soon as period comes. Twingy/crampy and bloated still. Emotional all the usual. Used a CB test but now read that these are not most sensitive? Today would be day 32 of last cycle unless that was my period? Should I test again? Should add I was using OPK clearblue and never got a smiley but forgot to test on day 15 with early wee. I did have signs of ovulation though. Ideas girls? 🤪🤪🤪

Hi everyone 😊 hope you don’t mind me joining in, we were trying from April 2018, but gave up after a while and wanted to give myself a mental break I didn’t get my first period for over 6 months after stopping the pill and it’s only starting to get a bit more regular, 2nd month trying again and currently 7dpo

So lovely to read this and know that I am not on this crazy journey alone. Hope it’s ok to join, I’m only 6dpo, 1st month trying. Initially OH was more keen on trying to start a family, I was more inclined to wait until the new year as we’re moving house in December, however I know it can take some time and have unfortunately seen friends and family struggle in the past so figured it’s better to start earlier. Since last period, I am OBSESSING!! Really shocked at myself about how I am feeling, finding myself so desperate for a BFP and looking ahead waaaay too much at such an early stage🙈 have actually already tested, this morning which was ofcourse bfn! I know it’s much too soon but couldn’t help myself. Have ordered some cheapies and Frer for later in the week, just hope I can stop myself testing again until at least 10/11dpo.
Was shopping yesterday (5 dpo) and found myself extremely hot, albeit I was wearing a coat and jumper but was with my mother in law who was fine, went to toilet and had to remove layers, I’m talking hot to the point of almost feeling dizzy which is unusual for me. Anyone else experienced this? Probably a coincidence but again it’s the obsessive symptom spotting🙈🙈

So I've been noticing strange EWCM these past few days and also I've had crazy nausea too. I don't know if the nausea is just due to the foods I'm eating or not. Last night I also had a dream that I saw a positive pregnancy test 😂 I think it's because its been on my mind so much!!

@acaciabluebell I'm having similar dreams, it's just so consuming🙈 🤞🤞 for you that AF doesn't appear tomorrow!! Xx
