Two week wait - going crazy

I stupidly started testing WAYYY too early, at 6dpo, I’m now 8dpo, getting all negatives but having what I feel like are pregnancy symptoms. It’s my first month TTC so I don’t really know what I’m doing. When did everyone get their BFP’s? Please join the thread if you want to chat about the 2 week wait and symptoms

Same here 🙄 I'm 6dpo I think and tested with an ic today. It makes us insane, ttc. I am also really hopeful one minute then down and negative the next.

I am not impatient about anything else: except this. 😂 we are ttc #3 (but dh first as my 2 dc are from a previous marriage) xx

I'm only 2DPO and dying to test already although I know it won't show anything. Wishing the days away!

Hey ladies 🙋🏻‍♀️ can I jump on this bandwagon? I'm smack bang in the middle of my TWW. This is attempt #3 our first we lost to TFMR almost 12 months ago 😥 and we found out we had a MMC in July 😔 still fairly early days for us again, we were 4months trying the first time and 5 months the second, so I'm trying not to expect too much!

Woken up today feeling sluggish, headache and woozy, bit of nausea, though nothing to write home about. I feel like I could sleep for a week. Desperately trying not to symptom spot as it only drives me crazy, but it's SO hard!! Not sure when I'll test. Maybe the weekend with a FRER? Will see how I feel then symptoms wise and make a call. I was an a thread last month which helped me feel like I wasn't going completely insane so figured I'd jump on this with you fine ladies and hopefully we can keep each other as sane as possible!

Yes hopefully we can all keep each other sane! So sorry to hear about your past experience. Wishing you all the luck this month. The nausea sounds promising (so strange that we actually want nausea during the 2ww). How many dpo are you?

@AnaTTC2020 it's bizarre isn't it, feeling sick is the worst for me, I can't deal. My last pregnancy, the nausea was pretty shocking, I wasn't physically sick at any point but I felt rank the whole time. Everyone who knew said it was the sign of a strong pregnancy, how wrong they were 🙄

I think I'm 7(ish) dpo, I never know exactly when I O but I had my first positive OPK a week ago today and I did feel like something was going on that day, twinges etc. So we shall see! Looks like most of us are on a pretty similar timeline xxx

Hi im sorry to jump on to your post in feeling at such a loss..I am currently 12dpo another bfn . Very tender breasts, my nipples are not sore but they are very puffy and sometimes look darker than normal. I have not had much cm since ovulation day and every now and again when I wipe or check my cp (changing between medium and high) i get creamy cm slightly yellow in colour. I have been feeling very nauseous on and off for a few days now. Has anyone gotten their bfp after 12dpo and if so what were your symptoms similar?

@AnaTTC2020 I'm not even attempting to test ATM. I can't deal with the disappointment even though I know it's early and I could still be.

I'm with @3scompany, up and down, feeling positive one minute then not the next. It's such a rollercoaster of emotions. This month I feel calmer than last and more reasonable, I don't know what's changed 🤷🏻‍♀️ Last month I was clinging on to every little symptom and was utterly convinced. I gues your never fully out til AF arrives. My friend had her DS 3 weeks ago and she told me she was getting negative tests right up until her period was late. Everyone is different, which kind of makes this whole thing harder as well. And the fact PMS symptoms are SO similar to early pregnancy symptoms, it's unfair really!

How about you, other than stressed. Try not to get stressed, I know it's so very easy for someone to say that. We just have to believe that one way or another our time will come if it's meant to be (I'm raging at myself for even typing that, but right now, with everything we've dealt with, it's all I have) xxx

Aww ano its a nightmare lol I am searching the Internet for answers when al i need to do is wait lol its absolutely insane the anxiety it gives lol I still think I'm even mad to be wanting a 3rd lol my little girls are 3 and 4 lol

@Mummy2girlz it's mad isn't it, you're looking online and you've had two so have an idea of what to look for. I've been the same, even through they didn't work out, but both pregnancies were VERY different. The first I had little to no sickness, just very tired. The second I was knakered, nauseas, couldnt eat flavoursome food as I got heart burn. It's mad!

What DPO are you? What's your plan for testing? Xx

Sorry I'm new here...what does DPO mean? We're TTC our first and this is our first attempt. When do you actually do a pregnancy test? I read online 7 days after period was due?

Aw sorry to hear they didnt work out i can only imagine how you must be feeling:(..
My two were very similar after I got my bfp with them. Severe hyperemesis with both from around 6 weeks to the day I had them. Actually insane I was picking foods that I knew weren't as horrendous coming back up. But I just really felt like this was my month, hopefully I'm right lol

@Wils85 I am 12dpo tested this morning got bfn :( but just going to wait until after shows up.. my cycle varies between 28-30 so from tomorrow onwards I'm expecting to see it. I'll test again on Saturday maybe if I can hold off 😆 are you in your tww?

Oh god! I’m glad I’m not the only one!!!! 17dpo I’ve started spotting pink/brown discharge while wiping. One day had really bad cramps but now it’s all stretchy pinching feeling. I swear I can feel it. My periods were regular (28-31days cycle) and very heavy. So it’s bit unusual and gives me hope it was implantation bleeding. Test on Monday 21dpo BFN 😭 but I can tell there’s something. Booked appointment for tomorrow so hopefully blood test or anything will help me. I’m also very dizzy/light headed. Like I sit and just look forward 🤦🏻‍♀️ Midwife told me I may have negative as I pee every 2hours at night 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel you girls! I’m googling constantly since the day of conception 🙈

First response early result tests say you can test 6 days before missed period but that just makes it worse almost because you tend to get negatives because it’s too early :/ it’s best to test on the day of your missed period or after. I just have no self control so have been testing since 7 days past ovulation

@cloudydays7 you can test before your period is due, most of us do as we can't hold on that long! The earlier you test the more likely you'll get a negative but it may be a false negative. If you can, try restrain yourself to test as close to when AF is due as possible. If you manage that you're a stronger woman then I! 😂 Some women get positives super early, the lucky sausages. I reckon I'm due AF a week today, hubby is working away Tuesday night, so I might test Monday...will see what my symptoms are like by then!

@Mummy2girlz yea, smack bang in the middle of TWW-ing today 🙄 feeling woozy, a bit nauseous and just blah! Also v thirsty, which was a symptom last time round. But equally was thirsty last month, probably just a PMS symptom (she says hoping it's not!). Remember you're not out until you're out! 🤞🏻

@AnaTTC2020 omg! Same! I’m testing from the very start! Used first response and clear blue. Both negative. Now I’m week after my missed period but spotting. Been advised to wait with another test few days as if it’s implantation bleeding hcg level should keep rising now 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m really going crazy! My BFF doesn’t want to listen to my craziness anymore 🤣

Hello! Hope you don't mind me jumping on here, currently 11DPO TTC DC2. DD is 14 months and we had an early MC in September so trying my very hardest to hold off from testing until Saturday! 🤞

Symptom wise I've had cramping since we DTD which was the big giveaway for both my past pregnancies and yesterday I got a tingly, letdown sensation in my boobs which I've not had as a symptom before but I'm half convinced it's in my head because I want it so bad! I've also been more tired than usual, had a daytime nap on Monday which is VERY unlike me and have had a few emotional days where I've cried over the most daft things like DD looking cute! 😂

But, only time will tell! Let's hope I keep my willpower and hold out until weekend, but it's so so tempting, especially when I got a BFP at 9DPO with DD!

Top tip ladies: don't spend lots of money on the expensive tests, I always test using the cheapy strip tests from Amazon first and then confirm the positive with a FR 👍🏻 saves you a tonne of money if you're POAS happy 😂

Hello ladies, can I join you and some possible advise needed I am so confused by my body.
Today I am 14dpo, my cycle is 24/25 days. I ovulated on 15th October.
on Sunday evening(11dpo) we dtd and we both noticed light pink cm half way into it, afterwards I wiped and their was some on the tissue. The day after their was a dark brown cm yesterday and today the c as a lighter brown to almost nothing today. I am due to start y period Thursday/Friday this week. I've had a headache for 6 days straight. I've took tests but all negative but I do not believe they are early response ones? this will be for baby #3 as my partner does not have children and this is the first time trying as previous 2 were a complete surprise with my ex husband. my temp today is 36.8c, the day before was 37c and the day before that 36.9c. does this seem normal? sending baby does to everyone, and fingers crossed for us. xx
