Two week wait - going crazy

I stupidly started testing WAYYY too early, at 6dpo, I’m now 8dpo, getting all negatives but having what I feel like are pregnancy symptoms. It’s my first month TTC so I don’t really know what I’m doing. When did everyone get their BFP’s? Please join the thread if you want to chat about the 2 week wait and symptoms

I think I'm probably best to test Friday/Saturday. I'm not sure. I don't know what I'm bloody doing atm. What do you think? I'm excited and nervous but I ain't got a clue what to think. if I was due my period when is it likely my temperature would dip? to have light pink blood 5 days before af is due I was like.....eh??? my other half was like I've never know that to happen to you in the few days leading upto af same last night dtd and their was runny brown stuff. sorry tmi

@Dsr87 I'm in exactly the same boat, I'm spotting quite a bit last night and today and I've still got 5 to 6 days before I'm meant to be on my period - but I don't want to get my hopes up incase I'm just really early. I think the temperature dip would be today if you're bleeding - because you get a temp dip on the day of implantation. But with that said, only 25% of women get an implantation dip so it's not an exact science all sounding really good for you though!

@Dsr87 don't test too early though. Give it 3 to 4 days and test with a frer if you want, wait longer to test with anything else

fingers crossed for us both then, knowing my luck af will arrive and il send the oh to the shop on Friday for a giant bottle of wine and Cadburys lmao. If I am I will just have the x2 chocolate bars to celebrate lol.
Its just odd I've never had like spot between periods but I am trying to remember what I was like with my boys. I honestly can't remember plus eldest is a teenager and youngest is 9 lmao. everything crossed. how are you feeling? I've had loads of headaches and tender boobs but only on the sides. my oh said the night I had pink cm my boobs felt heavier and looked slightly bigger. he should know he's the expert he feels them more than I do lmao. x

what does free stand for please? yes let's see if af arrives tomorrow or Friday? I hope not, these last couple of weeks since me and oh had "the chat" about ttc, has gone so slow!
all i remember previously was a horrible headache, and wanting too sleep. but I found out later even had a period type bleed with my first, found out I was 4 weeks in front than I thought I was. so this time because we are ttc I am Moore switched on and looking for signs.

@Dsr87 ah those are all sounding like promising symptoms! And can definitely relate to the chocolate and wine if Aunt Flo arrives 😂. Frer is "first response early result" tests, you can get them in most places (boots Superdrug and online), they detect the pregnancy hormone from between 6.3 mIU in urine whereas every other pregnancy test detects it from 20 mIU in urine, so they're known as the best brand for early responses, some people get positives the day after they implant, others don't like frers because they can give false negatives, because people test too early and then think they aren't pregnant

@AnaTTC2020 ahhhh right,I've just got cheap testes from amazon. if Af doesn't arrive friday/saturday then I will head to superdrug or boots and get one. Il check online at the prices as out boots and Superdrug's are next to each other. I've had cramping on and off but quite mild today. only time will tell I guess. but I think il feel abit shite if af does turn up. its only our first month of ttc but we've been together 5 years now so we are ready. is there any other brands that can detect early incase they have non left. just need a plan B. xx

@Dsr87 I don't think there are others which detect that early :/. 20 mIU is still very sensitive though so using the cheap ones is still great!

So im currently on tww aswell! I've been going crazy since i got a positive opk 😵 Honestly giving myself anxiety attacks just thinking of the excitement on "baby #2"😓 My cycles 31/32 days, so I'm honestly scared of testing too early & being upset. Im currently 9dpo(+opk oct 19 which happened to be our 1yr wedding anniversary🎉)... Period is due until Nov 2... Aghhh, its taking forever😵😵😵 (that's exactly how i feel atm lol)
Anyways, my nipples have been sensitive to touch since saturday, i had what felt like quick needle stabs on my right ovary side area yesterday, (i felt this w my 1st) and have had a constant little headache that hasn't left since yesterday morning.... Just a couple mins ago, i used the restroom and had leftover semen w very tiny bit of pink blood... (Similar thing w my 1st)
Anyways goodluck to all you ladies!!

thats how it was for me Sunday night followed by brown cm. then nothing this afternoon.fingers crossed af doesn't turn up. grrrrr. hold tight the 2 nd will be here soon enoug, just try and keep busy xx

Me again...sorry just curious and I may sound really silly but TWW - two week wait? Does this mean two week wait to test after ovulation?

@cloudydays7 heya, there are no silly questions at all yeah 2ww is two week wait after ovulation. Dpo is days past ovulation, and implantation tends to be 6-12 dpo. Hope that helps a little. My first month trying so it's all a lot to take in

Hiya! What a hectic few days but was nice to read through and see how everyone is doing!
I think I'm 7dpo now. And the urge to test is too much! I'm having a down morning though: convinced af will arrive next week. Only real symptoms that have been making me think "maybe" are super super sore boobs and increased Cm. But honestly I know I get sore boobs before my period too 😔

@Dsr87 it's a massive learning curve, I'm still learning and I'm 18 months in! Try and stay positive, it gets hard on this journey, but its all we can do.

The best discovery I had at the very beginning was a book called Period by Maisie Hill. It really helped me understand my cycle and what my body does and when. Its worth a read for sure! Xx

Atm I'm sorting an organising the house. I'm literally re organising to freezers and menu planning to save some £ and dwinddle it down ready to stock up for the Xmas period.
I'm literally gonna go through the fridge and freeze what I can before it goes out of date. its amazing what gets chucked away and I refuse to do it anymore.

I took my first FRER on 9dpo and got a BFN. I didn't test again until 12dpo and got a vvv faint BFP with FRER, tested again the next morning and was even fainter.

So 14dpo (yesterday) tested like a mad woman using different tests and got a bfp on clear blue digital. AF is due in 2 days so keeping my fingers crossed!!

I would say I have found the clear blue (and any other blue dye) to be less obvious lines than other tests!
