Hey!

Want to get a group of ladies who are TTC at the same time to have someone to chat to during this journey together. It's a lonely process for me and only
In early stages of trying but would love advice, tips and general chat. This is an open chat and can't wait to chat to you all

I’m on the pre mom app and according to the app and Opks I ovulated 8 days ago however I’ve now had 2 days of consistently positive opks, getting darker every day. Anyone experience this and have gotten a BFP?

LRW26 · 24/11/2020 20:21

I’ve just updated my app and in December I’ll be due on on Christmas Day 🤦🏻‍♀️ Which will either be the best or worst day depending on what happens. I get horrendous period pains so I’m so so hopeful that next month is our month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

1992EM · 24/11/2020 20:48

@LRW26 I am also due on Christmas day too . Maybe we will have some luck this year. I am 12dpo so don't think it can be implantation. There isn't much and is mainly a pink/rusty coloured cm but I always spot before AF so think it is just pre AF symptoms . AF also always arrives at 13dpo so will most likely wake up to it. In some ways I hope if it comes it doesn't until after I have been at work and then only have to deal with 2 days of AF at work 🙈 .x

Dex1521 · 25/11/2020 07:29

6dpo today woke up with nasal congestion and mild cramps. Today is the first day I’ve had any symptoms except for sore nipples which are constantly hard. Have had that since 2dpo

apwilso · 25/11/2020 10:06

Spoke too soon!!! Other half is working away and is back tomorrow. Haven't DTD since Monday so you reckon if I do it tomorrow I can still catch it?!

Sorry to keep dog king posting so my app is showing low fertility which obviously isn't right because my tests today show ovulation. Would I say today is my
Ovulation day or the first day I got a high reading?

Hello! I am new to Mumsnet so took me a while to catch up with the abbreviations but I think I have them now! I was diagnosed before COVID with peri-menopause (I am only 33), however during lockdown my AF came back so we thought we should start trying as it might be a long slog, spoke to the consultant and they agreed. We tried just with tracking with an app for 4 months and nothing so I have opks and have started using them. It feels nice to type/talk about it, as I can't really discuss this with anyone. At the moment its all I can think about and I don't think its super healthy for me, so any ideas to distract myself would be appreciated!

1992EM · 25/11/2020 16:06

@dennsicat14 welcome and good luck on your journey. I am glad AF returned for you and hopefully means you will get you positive soon 💕
@apwilso definitely in with a shot if you dtd tomorrow.

I am even more confused as thought I would wake up to AF and there was nothing. Had tampons in all day and literally not a drop on them. I don't want to get my hopes up and will wait it out until Saturday and if no show by then I will test x

1992EM · 26/11/2020 06:39

AF has made an appearance so onto cycle 8 . Taking a break from mumsnet but good luck to all those who are in their tww and I hope you get your BFP xx

apwilso · 27/11/2020 15:16

@Denniscat14 I've started becoming super obsessed so starting doing a YouTube channel and other things like that to keep myself
Occupied.

@1992EM sorry to hear that. Hope you stay well and hope to hear from you soon x

@apwilso great idea! I am usually super busy with work but its a down time, once Jan comes, I will be obsessed with work so I just need to get through this month. I've started crafting like I am a mad version of Kirsty Alsop! Macrame coming out of my ears!

MrsLauraM · 29/11/2020 08:28

I haven’t commented on this thread in a few weeks as I decided to take a break from mumsnet and tracking. Just wanted to share with you all that I got my BFP today finally after almost 11 months of trying. So don’t lose heart ladies!

1992EM · 29/11/2020 15:24

@MrsLauraM massive congratulations 💕 this is just what I needed to read as I head into cycle 8. That is a great line 👍 .

@apwilso thanks, I hope you are well. Is that you in your tww now ?

MrsLauraM · 29/11/2020 15:54

Thank you @1992EM 🧡 I’d honestly kind of lost hope it would happen. I’m glad it’s given you some reassurance and I hope you’re not kept waiting much longer for your BFP ❤️ x

apwilso · 29/11/2020 17:05

@MrsLauraM I bet it doesn't especially after the journey you've had!

@1992EM I am indeed only DTD twice though within the space due to work etc so we will see not hopeful!

I just want to say to everyone whose been in this group. Thank you for all the advice and for listening to my rants etc. To be honest I'd love to keep in touch with as many of you as I can! X

@MrsLauraM I have reached that point too but hopefully will happen one day. This site is good to see that it isn't just you . TTC is such a lonely time as you can't talk about it and you begin to question everything but can't ask the questions to get an answer 🤣 . Did you have any symptoms before you got your BFP ?

@apwilso it only takes 1 time to get pregnant so fingers crossed for you. X

MrsLauraM · 29/11/2020 17:27

@1992EM don’t give up. You’re so right though, it can be very lonely. This site has definitely saved my sanity a few times over the past 11 months.
I normally always get sore boobs pretty much straight after ovulation which I had again this month but then the last few days they just became much more painful. I woke up for a wee one night and when I stood up the pain from the change in gravity was awful. So I kind of had an inkling that something was different this time. I have been tired the last couple of days too with headaches alongside so have napped more than I would usually.

1992EM · 29/11/2020 18:39

@MrsLauraM thank you . I am so glad you have got your BFP. I hope you keep well xxx

Lozza85 · 30/11/2020 18:52

@MrsLauraM congratulations! Wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I had my peak on clearblue on Saturday. We're trying SMEP so hope that we timed it right. Now in the frustrating tww....when you ladies count dpo, do you count from the day of peak or the day after?

@Lozza85 I don't know what to count either!

@apwilso ah good it's not just me then! Thought it was going to be a dumb question 🤦‍♀️

Either way I'm 2-3 dpo today

DNpink82 · 01/12/2020 13:05

Hey all, I'm new to this thread but need to share this with someone. I had my implant removed 11th August and been tracking using OPK's with no success as they've been constantly faint 😞, this month is the first month my LH is looking normal and rising as it should even though I'm still a couple of days from ovulation. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I'm excited that we might actually be in with a real chance of ttc this month 🤞🏼

apwilso · 01/12/2020 20:31

@DNpink82 welcome! That looks like a good raise! Good luck in it. I'm a late ovulater due to a slightly longer length of my cycle and I always get worried
