Hey!

Want to get a group of ladies who are TTC at the same time to have someone to chat to during this journey together. It's a lonely process for me and only
In early stages of trying but would love advice, tips and general chat. This is an open chat and can't wait to chat to you all

@1992EM
I don't know how (and I don't want to jinx it) but we have yet to have a positive case in our school 😬 we have 1500 pupils and 200+ staff so I guess we're doing something right. I guess because we're pretty rural? 🤷🏻‍♀️ we're also not in bubbles any more apart from social times have designated areas for each year group. Im lucky I work in an office of 2!
Our year 7s had their flu shots before half term, so at least they're protected against that lurgey

1992EM · 11/11/2020 20:54

@mamamoonbeam that is good going. Near enough all schools in our area have had at least one case. We have our normal classes of between 25 to 30 and then they mix with their peers in the other class at breaks and lunch in a designated area outside. So far has worked well . I keep working out if I get pregnant each month how it would work with the holidays 🤣.

MamaMoonbeam · 11/11/2020 21:01

@1992EM haha! Me too! Maternity leave to start just before the summer break, I reckon! 😁

1992EM · 11/11/2020 21:10

@mamamoonbeam I am in Scotland so mine would work out perfect as would be near the end of summer break . I don't no why I do this to myself 🤣

apwilso · 12/11/2020 10:43

I'm not going to tell my boyfriend about my symptoms this month if I get any! On a lifestyle change now as I'm unhappy with my weight and obviously it's all factors into baby stuff!

How is everyone!?

Feeling very nauseous again today went to home bargains and I don’t know if I got out the car too quickly or what but I thought I was going to faint (something I’ve never done before) and went all dizzy and shaky, just got home and still sick feeling in my stomach and lots of saliva in my mouth and hands still shaking a bit. Don’t know where it’s all come from.
According to my FF app my ovulation day was the 10th we DTD 9th, 10th & 11th so that means I should be 2dpo? Not sure how accurate it is though as my cycles are still all over the place

Misty84 · 12/11/2020 12:40

@Dex1521 that is so galling, I would be feeling crap from that too.
@1992EM it’s the most rubbish thing ever that PMS symptoms are so similar!

I honestly don’t understand how it’s so easy for some people. My friend and I told each other at the same time that we had started trying. Feels like forever ago now, we were both full of excitement and optimism! 3 months later she was pregnant. She now has a very lovely daughter...I’m still peeing on ovulation sticks and obsessing over symptoms that turn out to be AF. She doesn’t even know what AF stands for 😭

Also, I work in schools and I just look at all these little kids in wonder that all those parents managed to successfully conceive- they are all little miracles in my eyes!

3 days left of the tww, just praying every day! So much for not stressing- impossible! 😛

Misty84 · 12/11/2020 12:45

Ps. @Dex1521 just to be clear I was responding to your message yesterday about the girl from your work :)
Just read about your car episode, hope you are feeling ok! Nausea...🤞🤞x

Dex1521 · 12/11/2020 12:51

@Misty84 I really hope it’s good nausea 😂 I’m missing out a ham and cheese toastie that my OH offered to make me because of it 😂

I may have temporarily hidden her posts too it’s all about self care and I can’t be bothered with her anymore 😂

1992EM · 12/11/2020 22:12

@dex1521 I hope you are feeling ok. I have had similar symptoms recently due to wearing my mask all day. It is such a horrible feeling. Hopefully it doesn't last to long for you. I have also heard ovulation can make you feel like that too .
@Misty84 I hope you get your BFP soon. I have decided not to tell anyone as a result of this but I do find it hard that I haven't got a real life person to talk too about it as well. TWW is the longest two weeks ever . You'll be glad it is nearly over and hopefully you get your BFP.

@apwilso this month I told him in advance when my fertile week was and then didn't mention it much but he knew we needed to dtd. It has worked out well as I will have ovulated today so we dtd everyday since Monday. We have hopefully given it all we can this month and now onto another tww. We have a busy week next week so hopefully that will take my mind off it x

apwilso · 13/11/2020 02:21

This is really tmi. But I'm upset and scared

Me and the boyfriend have DTD and I've gone to the toilet and I'm bleeding. The DTD was pretty rough plus first time having sec after two weeks plus came off my period yesterday. It's happened before when I've come back on my period. But I've gone to the toilet and noticed a lot of blood in the toilet and there was a thick sac like thing in there too. Managed to fish it out SORRY! But doesn't look like a normal
Period clot. Not sure if I was pregnant and miscarried as part of my period.

Bit shaken and the other half is gutted and won't speak.

1992EM · 13/11/2020 06:57

@apwilso it could be because you have just came off your period that any blood left has now been dislodged. You do hold some blood after periods and this is what usually causes the spotting and brown blood before AF shows. If you were pregnant it would have only been tiny particles and due to the fact you came on your period on the right day it would have been a chemical pregnancy which wouldn't cause the clot as such . This is only going from Google though and I am no medical person. Please don't panic but if you are concerned you could phone your GP. Do you know roughly how large the clot was ? I have read that clots can be quite last if the blood doesn't have a chance to break up which would make sense if it was a sudden gush of blood.

Dex1521 · 13/11/2020 08:12

@apwilso aw girl I’m so sorry you went through that it does sound traumatic. We are all here for you but if I were you I’d maybe ring my doctor and explain it to them as they will know best. Hopefully your OH will come round and you can talk about it together as that might help both of you too.

I’ve woke up this morning feeling fine so had a crumpet for my breakfast and now want to puke my guts up 🤢 don’t know if this is PG symptoms I’m only 3 DPO ( I think) maybe more pms or something else that’s making me feel so sick

Jsmurph · 13/11/2020 08:31

Hi! This is my first month ttc and I’m already driving myself mad trying to second guess! Just over a week po and still a week or so to go til my period. But I feel like my boobs are getting bigger, I’m feeling hornier than usual (sorry if this is too much info!) and I have had some mild cramps. There is every chance my hopeful brain is imaging it, but could I be feeling the signs this soon??

apwilso · 13/11/2020 08:45

@1992EM I just thought it was because of the DTD but it's not a usual period clot at all. Was more like a blood sac with white and Grey mini sac within it. It was a size of like a 10p but was with quite a lot of blood pooled in the bottom of the toilet. Not sure hoping it's just left over period but I'm not convinced😫 my period this time was quite different to my normal ones and also after coming off had some weird cramping. Might speak to them to double check

M@Dex1521 thanks and I think I might it could be nothing but this was very traumatic at 2 in the morning

OP posts:
1992EM · 13/11/2020 17:28

@apwilso it could have been a chemical pregnancy. I have had blood after sex just after my period has ended. Although I can't comment on the clot . I know clots can be quite big and still normal though . I would phone the GP even just to check what they think . Hopefully it was just left over blood. I hope you and your oh are ok 💕

Misty84 · 13/11/2020 18:19

Been so upset all day, AF has arrived, so effing fed up of all this! Never, ever reading too much into symptoms that can be just be explained away by PMS again.
On the plus side, have just opened a bottle of red wine. The ONLY good thing about all this!
Onto month 16 of TTC...

@apwilso I hope you are ok. That sounds so upsetting to have gone through that. Thinking of you and your OH.

@Jsmurph welcome to the club..!

Jsmurph · 13/11/2020 18:46

@Misty84 I’m so sorry to hear this, thinking of you! Enjoy the red wine, it will happen(sorry I’m sure you’re fed up of hearing this!) 😘

apwilso · 13/11/2020 22:36

@1992EM rang doctors and didn't help. At my further appointment from my smear as I had abnormal cells so have blamed that but I'm sure it was a chemical pregnancy looking at the picture of what came out (I know it sounds weird. Keeping it to show the nurse next week!)

@Misty84 thank you❤️ you deserve it! It's just awful that pregnancy and PMS are so similar!!

OP posts:
1992EM · 14/11/2020 06:23

@apwilso sorry to hear doctors weren't very helpful. Hopefully the nurse can offer some more advice. How are you both? Just remember if it was a chemical that dtd did not cause it and it is neither of your faults. A chemical just happens to not implant for whatever reason and it can happen to anyone.

1992EM · 14/11/2020 06:24

@Misty84 . I am so sorry AF has arrived . Enjoyed your wine and some tlc 💕

apwilso · 14/11/2020 11:30

@1992EM were okay thanks lovely! He was blaming himself but told him that as well. How are you doing?xxx

OP posts:
1992EM · 14/11/2020 14:29

@apwilso what a shame 😔 i am glad you are both feeling a bit better now. I am good. Now 2dpo so just waiting it out yet again x

apwilso · 14/11/2020 14:48

@1992EM decided these are the longest two weeks of my life when I was waiting! Fingers crossed. You doing the same approach or changed anything up this time x

OP posts:
Misty84 · 14/11/2020 15:42
