Want to get a group of ladies who are TTC at the same time to have someone to chat to during this journey together. It's a lonely process for me and only
In early stages of trying but would love advice, tips and general chat. This is an open chat and can't wait to chat to you all

Xmas is certainly going to be easier for hiding a pregnancy if we're all restricted to 6 indoors! Plus there is always the excuse of "I'm des", can't drink and drive! 😁

@mamamoonbeam I wish it was that simple. My mum is convinced at any slight thing that I'm pregnant. She doesn't stop talking about it ("if you're pregnant now youd be due in..." is generally the way it goes) she guessed last time. Also we live in walking distance so no need to drive 😂

Sounds like your mum has a keen sense of knowing! We're super rural so have to drive everywhere apart from when it's flooded, then we stay at home 😁 so we also have that as an excuse too - "sorry, we're flooded in" 😆

@Tabbycat92 @MamaMoonbeam that's like me walking distance so my antibiotic one is the best way to go if it's the case😂

@apwilso 🤣😂🤣 unlucky! You could always try a course of antifungal tablets for bad athlete's foot - just throwing out options there! For @Tabbycat92 too 😘

I’ve already told myself that if I get PG before Christmas I’m just going to have to be honest. I’m SUCH a pisshead normally, no one will buy a ‘I’m on antibiotics’ story 🙈

Or, actually I did think about buying some Nosecco (non alcoholic prosecco) and drinking that. No one would know (we’re hosting at ours this year if we’re able to with Covid) as they won’t be going in and out of the fridge and even if they do, it looks just like a normal bottle of Prosecco. Might even keep it outside the back door. Every time I go to ‘top us up’ I’d just top mine up with Nosecco?!

God, I’ve got this all thought out and there’s such a small chance I’ll be PG at Christmas 🙈

@SweetShopSurprise I'm the same. Big drinker so I won't get away with it but that's a cracking idea!!!

We gave it a rest over the Christmas month when we were trying for DS. It was really good to have the break and enjoy Christmas and go back at it in Jan 🤣. Drank 3 bottles of Moët on NY and got PG first week of Feb, the rest is history.

@MrsLauraM don’t feel bad about having symptoms. We all do it! I am doing it right now and and prob about to be crashed back to earth. But I know that feeling silly feeling too, it’s cruel.

It’s such a life changing thing, and every month brings the possibility of a new life and it’s really exiting to contemplate.

@SweetShopSurprise Sorry to hear about your back pain, ouch. But be careful with FRER they are only 50% accurate so you may get a negative and Still be PG. it’s best not to take anything till you get AF and if you really do need to paracetamol is safer....though it’s rubbish in comparison. I could wait to be able to take ibruprofen after giving birth 🤣 If it’s really bad talk to your GP.

Feel like a idiot!

Went and did a CB early detection test and was negative but only 8 DPO😫 what a rookie move. Apparently due on my period Thursday but apps updated to say next week and now I'm confused😳

All these symptoms and feel like I've made it up😰

Aw @apwilso you're not an idiot. You're just a bit too eager. Maybe try and wait til at least the weekend to test again. What app are you using? x

@apwilso don’t feel bad. It’s a completely life changing thing so of course we are all dying to know, even if we know it’s too early. We always just hope and dream! I know that feeling too well, when you see bfn and heart just sinks . It’s hard going. But also your not out till AF arrives. Thinking of you

@Dex1521 it’s very hard to tell the difference between AF and PG....that’s the magic world of the TWW a d why we are all so demented on here. Also it’s different for each person and can differ with each pregnancy.

I’ve been PG 3 times now and each one completely different.

1st PG: pond water taste and sore boobs
2nd PG: pelvic pain
3rd PG: implantation camps and pelvic pain

@apwilso don’t feel bad. It’s a completely life changing thing so of course we are all dying to know, even if we know it’s too early. We always just hope and dream! I know that feeling too well, when you see bfn and heart just sinks . It’s hard going. But also your not out till AF arrives. Thinking of you

I’ve got sore boobs and a bit of cramping today. Been a bit constipated as well 🙄 This is my first tww and my god is it torture!! I keep wondering if I have these symptoms every month and just never noticed before.

@Waiting2BeaMama it's the longest two weeks of my life!!!!

Also I've been flapping for ages at the min. The test had a faint blue line, I know this might be an evap line what do you think. I can retest later in the week but for now what do you guys think. Soz if tmi for my wet stick 😂 I've turned the saturation up as the pic is faint but in person you can see it more👀

@apwilso Im sure I can see a very faint blue line so maybe it’s just too early to test! Definitely don’t give up hope and re test maybe at the weekend again or the day before AF is due

@apwilso there is a line....I’m rubbish at Evans never had one, but I know they tend to happen on the blue dye ones. You could post on a new thread fir line eyes? You’ll get lots of posts quickly from people who’ve had it before.

I know @Waiting2BeaMama its seems sooo long...and yes every body twinge seems to mean something and it’s just so hard to stop looking for signs or to decipher them!

It’s test day or AF for me tomorrow!

Been having cramps on and off since sat/sun. Definitely not my normal pattern, I normally just get a few hours and then AF. Bits of nausea on and off. Some cramp thus even but very patchy. So I’m in with a shot! But who knows it could all turn to dust pretty quickly.

Expect and early post, I will probably be running for the test! 😅
