@apwilso I'm worn out! Been DTD every other day since AF finished and never thought how tiring it could be trying to get it in! 😅 looking forward to ovulation so we don't have to try and cram more BD in 😂 DP said he was looking forward to the break too! Lol!
On top of all that my martial arts instructor has tested positive for covid so my son and I are having to self isolate. Neither of us are showing symptoms. I work at a school so despite the second lockdown, I would still have to be going to work! DP is hoping he will still be able to work too as he works as a crane operator (he loves his job!)

I started to read about vitex but I'm sure I read not to take it in pregnancy?

@originalusername6432762 it's perfectly safe in pregnancy, but not necessary.
Agnus Castus promotes higher LH levels needed to get pregnant. But once you're pregnant you no longer need LH.
I think the recommendation is to stop taking it before you get to 12 weeks

Bought the seven seas vitamins today but instead of picking up conception I picked up the ones for when you are pregnant 🙈 hopefully be using them sooner rather than later I hope 🤞 will try again tomorrow and hopefully buy the correct ones 😂

I’m pretty sure I get this a bit before af arrives normally, but keep telling myself it could be a good sign 🤪 I’m still only 3dpo and trying as hard as I can to hold on til at least next Friday to test if I can manage.

Im still waiting to ovulate, should be soon, apps say tomorrow, so crampy 😑 poor DP is worn out from all the BD and looking forward to the post ovulation break! 🤭 also arm self isolating at the moment as I came into contact with someone with covid so that's boring!

It's so hard not to symptom spot and convince ourselves we need to test! 😅 I usually get quite sore boobs before AF, sore to touch sometimes! Hopefully yours is not AF 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@waitingtobeamama hello! I'm good thanks. Unfortunately it's a day of good news and bad news for me. I got the job I interviewed for today 🎉 but I think AF has started (I'm still holding out hope that it's spotting) its due tomorrow

Hope you don’t mind me joining this thread!
Me and my husband are TTC, I came off the pill 6 months ago and had been tracking ovulation and EWCM which was very consistent but we hadn’t started actively trying due to a very busy year next year. Anyways we decided to not put our life on hold and to start trying this month but I haven’t had any EWCM on the days in the cycle I had done for the last 6 months! I’m feeling really anxious now, has anyone else had this?

Can’t wait to go on this journey with everyone and hear peoples stories!

@MamaMoonbeam I know the feeling, I’m always longing for ovulation just to have a rest...it’s hard work 😅🤣 Argh for having to self isolate. We all know it’s the right thing to do, but still hard esp if you don’t have symptoms. Hope your doing ok.

@Tabbycat92 congratulations on the interview. Oh booo for AF 😞 it’s such a bummer each month, we get our hopes up. Hope you are ok.

Lol @Dex1521 so easy to do. There may not be much difference between them. Many you can keep on taking throughout.

So I’ve had MAD cramps...they were really tripping me out. Started sun, then yesterday nearly all day just like worst AF cramps when I reach for the ibruprofen. It was actually freaking me out, like how can AF be 3 days early. Was also very nauseous. Both gone today. Very Wierd experience. I’ve had implantation cramps before and we’re mild and only a couple of hours.

Trying not to run away with myself, but what else could it be??! Sooo very tempted to test. Oh god roll on wed!

@Bouncytree hey! Hope you're well! Symptoms for me have been left pelvic pain, nausea has been off and on but kind of gone now, been backed up to put it nicely 😂 had some sharp cramping pain as well into pelvic area. My nipples!!! Wow my actual boobs aren't sore but my nipples to touch are like so sensitive and sore. Full on rock on but I like grazed my arm over one before and I was like WTF! Never get that pre period. My AF was showing to be due cycle day 30 which will be Thursday but on my app it has moved to next Monday?! Not sure now!

On day 6/7 DPO I Think so unsure what I should or shouldn't feel or when I should test as I feel as if I've ovulated late!

So symptom-wise I’m still experiencing the same things mostly. Still struggling going to the loo (I know, TMI, sorry!), still really tired and feeling teary/snappy and I have a bit of backache. Nipples are no longer painful like they were but the whole boob feels tender when I touch them. The only way I can accurately describe it is its as if they are bruised. I was feeling a bit nauseous earlier but then hungry soon after. I just feel a bit up in the air though as these could all mean AF surely?
What I don’t have though is that bloated/heavy sensation I usually get before AF. I’m hoping that’s a good sign. No more cramping today either.

@Waiting2BeaMama I would definitely recommend waiting to test if you’re anything like me. I tested yesterday and sobbed at the BFN so I don’t think it’s worth giving in too early if you can manage it 😊

@MamaMoonbeam fingers crossed you ovulate soon then you and DP can have a well earned rest 😂😂

@Bouncytree you sound very similar to me! Fingers crossed these are some positive signs for us! Bet Wednesday can’t come quick enough for you 💛

@apwilso that sounds positive, especially as it’s something you done usually get. I read today that it’s recommended you wait until at least 12dpo to test as accuracy of results is higher from then onwards.

So scrap what I’ve said above...AF is on her way 😭😭😭 slight brown spotting when wiping. Feel a bit silly now believing all those symptoms meant something. Still feel nauseous now....🤷🏼‍♀️

@Bouncytree lol! It's such tiring work! No-one ever tells you how much hard work it is actually TTC. All those times unplanned pregnancies happen and here we are wearing ourselves out for a sticky bean!
It's definitely worth it though!

@apwilso I know right! We're not as young and spritely as we used to be 😂🤣😂😅 my boobs were so so sore with my DS and my nips were particularly sensitive.

It will be bitter sweet when ovulation comes - we get a rest but also the TWW 😬

Does anyone know if semen effects OPK results? 🤔 I know men do produce LH in their.. erm.. jizz. Just wondered if it was enough to effect readings...

Hey ladies, hope everyone is feeling a bit positive 💜

So last night I had some aches and pains after dinner, thought it was digestion but not sure. Had a small amount of light yellow discharge and then before I went to bed it was pink when I wiped but that was it. So many aches and pains in abdomen, back and legs I had trouble getting to sleep! AF not due till Sunday so wouldn't normally expect ache in legs?

So unfortunately its definitely AF and not implantation. So I'm 100% out this month. DH and I have decided to not try next month. I feel if I get pregnant next month it'll be too early to tell family before Christmas, but I won't be able to hide my not drinking. Also, we wanted a september baby really, we were being impatient trying this month. And it'll give me an extra month in my new role before getting pregnant.

So if any of you are still around trying in December, I'll speak to you all again then!

Aw @Tabbycat92 sorry to hear this. However I too would like a September or October baby (ideally) just something about those months I love 😂 I’m hoping I’ll be ovulating by December as that’ll have given my body the whole of November to flush out the mini pill and get my cycle going again 🤞 however maybe in being optimistic as I’ve heard it can take 3months or more for it to come back 😢 anyway, hopefully we can try again together next month (hope that doesn’t sound weird 😂) best of luck to everyone else ❤️ And lots of baby dust too ✨ 👶

@Tabbycat92 sorry about AF, I’m in the same boat today 😢 I’ve also been considering how I would hide a pregnancy around Christmas/new year if I get pregnant before then but I can’t bring myself to stop trying. Wishing you all the best and hopefully we can catch up in December 😊

AF is here with a vengeance! Cramps are really bad! Despite not getting my BFP, I am very happy that I have had a ‘normal’ cycle length this cycle of 27 days instead of the 45/46 days previously. I’m putting this down to taking the soy isoflavones and so I’m going to give them another try this cycle 👍🏻

Hello again all,

AF, for me is due on Monday (9th) Last week I convinced myself I had loads of ‘pregnancy symptoms’ but this week I haven’t had any!!

I’ve suffered with quite bad lower back pain for years now, but for the last few months it’s been fine, the last 2 nights though I’ve had the WORST lower back pain and have only managed to get about 5 hours sleep each night. I’m exhausted. I’ve just ordered some FRER’s, they arrive tomorrow. I highly doubt I am pregnant but if I’m not I’ll A) take Ibuprofen to try and ease this awful back pain so I can try and sleep and B) if that doesn’t work have a red bull or Monster energy drink during the day to keep me awake!

It’s DH’s birthday on Friday too so I’d love to be able to give him a positive test result but also, if I’m not pregnant, will have a few glasses of wine with him Friday to celebrate his birthday. I think I’ll test Thursday, which will be 4 days before AF is due!

God, I’m already sucked into all of this and I’ve never been maternal or wanted kids! Since a couple of weeks ago when we first started TTC it’s all I seem to think about and all I want. I really think I have undiagnosed endometriosis though so some days I’m really not hopeful of it happening.

I’m just back from a trip into town (successfully bought the right vitamins as well) but I’ve had such a bad tension headache and when in Costa honestly thought I was going to pass out, I also feel really shaky and nauseous and have a mouth full of saliva are these PMS symptoms I’ve not had a period since I was about 16 as I’ve been on birth control. I’ve also heard of people coming off the mini pill and getting pregnant before they even have a period.
We have DTD once since last Tuesday so I highly doubt I’m pregnant. Think I’m just being paranoid now

@SweetShopSurprise I’m the same I always knew I wanted kids but since actually coming off the pill all I can think about is conceiving and having a baby too so you’re not alone!

If I'm pregnant around Christmas I'm pulling the antibiotics excuse of a water infection. Already thought it through!!!

I'm convinced I'm going to have my AF soon but still have some symptoms which is unusual for me pre period so dunno. Got CB early detection tests coming today. Going to do them and not tell the other half as I would want to surprise him. Have it all planned out but don't know not convinced
