Just wondering, does anyone else have to take painkillers on day 1-2 of AF? I always do unless I'm active most of the day (walking a lot) as the pain just makes it hard to concentrate on anything. I realised I don't know anyone not on hormonal contraceptives so wondered if it's normal to have enough pain to be needing that?

@NestinginNL Yeah it's been a complete right off! I feel a lot more calm now knowing I don't have to worry about it for a few more years, the stress levels were unreal! When are you due to test? I've had a couple of scares before that ended super early and I was the worst at POAS- I like to sit and watch them develop too, I'm such a weirdo!

@Jaysdream7 My partner likes to be woken up to a cheeky BJ, I know if I do that, i'll always end up DTD!

@2020mission My first few days are the worst, I can't get through it without strong meds and a hot water bottle, I think everyone is different. I had one period that was a bit lighter than normal and almost no pain and I was like, Is this what it feels like for normal people?

@Vil10 so annoying, really feel you, been there, there’s been times when I felt like your dh, but in the end though fuck it, I want my baby!, but I’ve been married so long, feel in a rut sometimes

@2020mission, I'm the same... strong painkillers and a beanbag, although I think that's down to my endo.

When we TTC naturally in between IVF we found it very liberating but then again we love sex (except night raping it seems) and I've tried the cheeky BJ wake up when we (ahem needed more in FW) and didn't work either, mines all about the ass wiggle in his face when fully awake it seems 😀

@NestinginNL yes if you have any "dog toy or sex toys lying" (former quiz of mine for newbies) around great stuff!

@2020mission mine aren't usually that heavy (or maybe I don't try & concentrate much 🤔)

😅 thanks ladies just checking it's not a sign of problems. I've always just put up with it but it's not until many months of failed attempts TTC you start wondering if it's a sign of a problem. My mum told me when I first started my periods that the cramps are normal and would ease in the future if I take birth control or after I've had a baby. I've not done either so presumed that's why they continued to be painful. Painkillers always solve it.

@lilacflower12 I hear that on the stress levels. I generally struggle to lose weight but coming up to the wedding I actually couldn’t keep it on anymore. Was too small for my dress which caused a whole new line of stress... anyway. Forget about it now and hopefully you’ll have a cute new ring bearer (possibly being carried) by 2022. I’ve put myself down as testing on the 14th, 2 days after AF is due, but may crack and test before then. We pick up our new puppy on the 12th so may actually test then too. At least if AF arrives the pup will soften the blow.

@2020mission mine used to be awful with endo but now they’re not too bad. Dare I say normal? Best thing I got to help was a YuYu hot water bottle. Wraps around my waist and I wear it all day when the cramps are bad.

@2020mission the pill is the worst, sex drive and libido were non existent , I am not going back on that, I don’t fancy more hormonal contraceptives , so already dropping hints to dh that will have to figure something else ( the snip, mate, your turn)

Fooff cells have been collected, so to wait for results, 6 weeks!

@NestinginNL, I do fancy a trip, to keep you from testing only, that hot water bottle sounds interesting, ... my periods are very irregular, sometimes normal on the lighter side, some even just spotting for a few days...

I just had a mini in agony breakdown and cried on the steps, so that's good 😂 maybe I need more painkillers than I already have in my system.

@2020mission yes me! 🙋🏾‍♀️ i have to double dose on day 2 as the pain is so bad and it's the only way to get me through the day! I writhe in agony most of the day, it's truly awful!

So had my transvag scan and ovaries and lining look good. She could see "plenty eggs" but only issue was a small fibroid. She said nothing to worry about tho...so I've been googling it on the bus home! Luckily she gave me the size but not where it's located! So gotta wait for the full report bk next week. It's always waiting with ttc, drives me mad!

@Katao well I don't know if I have many days after the opk result I've just had!! Deffo operation shave my bits and look all sexy for OH!!

Okay soooo, on holiday I obviously had so much spunk up me and it was mistaken for ewcm, because I'm 100% ovulating now!! Or will be tomorrow because I'm pretty sure this is my peak opk ive just got! @NestinginNL yes, that would be super cute, one of my best friends is pregnant at the moment, only early days but I’m so excited that our kids could be close in age!

Just took an OPK and it’s come back as high for the first time, looks like that along with my cramps and spotting hopefully mean that I’m ovulating soon, if not earlier than expected- lots of BD’ing for me just incase

@Franklydear absolutely it shouldn't always have to be down to us ladies having to put up with hormonal contraceptives! I would have tried the pill but because I get migraines I was told it wasn't recommended due to a higher stroke risk. I only get a couple of migraines at most a year too but it's because it's the type that impacts vision 😑

@BellsB1 I'm all good now after some co-codamol and some light afternoon yoga, thanks! Hope you are feeling better... a wee cry is needed sometimes to release all the emotion 😅

Woe i have spent the whole afternoon asleep, i am knackered @Minster2012 dsis is dropping test off tonight on her way home from work so currently on a 4hr hold 😏 dp is home from working away tomorrow ao will have to be tonight, ive had pulling pains in my groin today so keep talking myself out for this month and thinking i may not of ovulated at all. @BellsB1 sometimes a good cry is needed. Sorry will catch up with the rest of the chat soon i am rubbish at remembering who has said what.
