Do I have line eyes? Taken at about 5mins mark. Darkened the image and I think it is more visible

@Mrsbear1122 it took me a moment but I think I see a line! 🎉

Vil10 · 11/10/2020 14:11

@Franklydear I have to pester him so much to get his feelings out sometimes! He thinks he has to be my rock as well as his own which is lovely but needs to tell me how he's feeling more!

@Mrsbear1122 I can't definitely see something!!! How exciting❤️

Vil10 · 11/10/2020 14:12

Also why is there constant scan/baby/pregnancy apps and adverts all over Facebook today!!!

Franklydear · 11/10/2020 14:30

@Vil10 exactly, I know to pester him if he is doing any unnecessary diy, he seems to think busy equals ok, he’ll drop everything for me though...
I dropped Facebook and only check occasionally a couple of groups that make announcements I might need, for me it was the conspiracy COVID theories, one friend send me a link on how the medics should be grateful to have a job so shut up about pay rises, bad conditions and stress😳, I nearly put a very big thank you to all health and care workers in the comments, but I don’t want to add fuel to the fire

notyetamumbuttrying · 11/10/2020 14:50

@Missgoldilocks yeah you're right hun x

@Mrsbear1122 can defo see a line, how exciting! How many dpo are you?

@Vil10 @Franklydear my Facebook is always littered with all that too. It's the algorithms. It knows what sites you've been on so will target you with ads, very annoying!

lucyrp · 11/10/2020 14:51

@KateColx oh hey! Sorry missed your morning message!💗 how's things with you ??

@Vil10 there was a clear blue advert on my Snapchat the other day and I actually recorded because I was like wtf wish I could attach it here! It was a woman holding up a pregnancy test that said "not pregnant" and the music that was playing over the top was so happy I was like WHAT!

@Missgoldilocks I feel the same about having a child with someone you don't like years ago and now with someone you love so much and it's not happening! I'm really sad for OH because he found it hard to come to terms with the fact that I had a child when we started to talk again as he's one who would have liked it to all be firsts with me if you get me ? And I can't even give him his own baby ☹️

Mrsbear1122 · 11/10/2020 15:17

Thanks @NestinginNL @Vil10 @notyetamumbuttrying, I'm am tentatively happy and trying not get my hopes up too much. I'm only 10dpo today, so hoping to see some progression in next few days. Debating whether to use a frer tomorrow morning to check...I haven't ever had anything on ics before so it's quite exciting! Not telling my DH yet, want it to be more of a solid line and not a squinter before I tell him that he doesn't need to feel that baby making pressure anymore 🤣

lucyrp · 11/10/2020 16:23

@Juno231 also my temp rise could be because I've been quite blocked up the past couple of days so could be to do with that ☹️

KateColx · 11/10/2020 17:09

@Vil10 yeah that sounds like a good plan, it's good to have a rough idea and I found it easier to just DTD generally over that time rather than obsessing over exact dates 😅 X

@lucyrp hi lovely! All good here thank you, tiredness and afternoon/evening nausea has fully kicked in the last few days but I don't mind so much! How's everything with you in general? Do you think you may have been able to pinpoint this months OV I saw earlier? X

@Mrsbear1122 I can definitely see a little line there ☺️ I got a faint line 11DPO and the IC's took a lot longer to show something so that's a good sign ☺️ x

Franklydear · 11/10/2020 17:40

@KateColx this cycle I’ve purposely not looking at dates and just dtd when fancy, I’ve looked back and we actually covered more dates than usual, go figure
@Mrsbear1122 I can see a line, do we get excited ?

Newbie0818 · 11/10/2020 17:48

@Missgoldilocks absolutely, especially when it seems like everyone around you just falls pregnant by sneezing and it's really hard being patient for something you want so badly! I have pcos x

@Vil10 exactly! I remember the first time we had sex unprotected after I got off the pill we were both breathing so hard and our hearts were racing because we thought "this is it!". That was before I even knew that there was a fertile window 🤦🏽‍♀️ how stupid I feel now!

@lucyrp you WILL give him a baby, no doubt about it x

@Franklydear that happened to us when we stopped forcing DTD, it just turned out to be more spontaneous and often, more fun too :)

Minster2012 · 11/10/2020 17:55

Hey ladies, just checking in, sorry for going AWOL but kinda like @Missgoldilocks I needed to check out cos I've just been so down about it not being our time that couldn't really face it. Why isn't it us? It's blatantly me, it's not fair, why doesn't everyone else have this problem? What are we going to do? I can't help feeling.

Anyway. Done my wallowing, ish. I'm disappointed with DH's response. But that's another story.

@Missgoldilocks I'm so sorry your sister's egg didn't fertilise, the fertilisation calls I found the most nerve wracking & horrible. Do they get more cycles on nhs or are they paying? It's so stressful 😕😩😫

@lucyrp OMG I've got everything crossed you've ovulated lovely 🤞🏻🤞🏻🥰

@Mrsbear1122 that looks good, tentative congrats 🙌🏻🎉

@Mosherchick you are getting symptoms yes? Are you going to test? Have you tested?

@NestinginNL good luck for your journey, I hope you aren't too sick, but still fingers crossed it means you are pregnant!

And @Jaysdream7 how you feeling? Have you tested again?

@Vil10 it's so hard isn't it, and it's good that OH is taking it so seriously, but you are right, give it a couple of months 🤞🏻

@Franklydear, my rock, how far in are you now do you think🥒xxx

lucyrp · 11/10/2020 17:58

@KateColx aww lovely to hear! How many weeks are you now ?? Yeah things okay here now I've given up!🤣 just been temping and not doing any opks. Just waiting for my referral now and that's all I can do. Well the other girls think so I'm not sure 🙈x

@Newbie0818 aw thank you, I hope naturally otherwise I'm forever going to be in debt with ivf 🙈x

Mosherchick · 11/10/2020 18:08

@Minster2012 Stepping away is often what we need, even when it's not what we want. I'm sorry things aren't going your way. 🖤

Yes, today I've been weeing ridiculous amounts, to the point where even my pesimist OH is starting to pay attention. I've also started getting hot flashes on and off. I've got a cold though, and I'm now paranoid about dislodging a bean with my mad sneezing! 😂 I'm only 7DPO, so I daren't test.

KateColx · 11/10/2020 19:25

@Franklydear Strange isn't it, I thought DTD might fall off the radar but just taking that pressure away really helps. Although saying that the month we did get our BFP we only done it once 🤷🏼‍♀️ but it was when we wanted to do it rather than feeing like we had to do it X

@Newbie0818 I was the same when we started trying, I remember worrying if I caught that month that it wouldn't time well with some events I had on 😂😂 ah bless us x

@lucyrp ah thank you 🥰 6 1/2 weeks now so still very early days! I've got a private scan booked at 8 weeks, so just trying to get to that point now. Ah bless you, it's so frustrating! How long does the referral take do you know? X

lucyrp · 11/10/2020 19:28

@KateColx I'm defo going to book a private scan for 8 weeks when I finally get my BFP. Exciting! the doctor said its normally about 6 weeks but could be longer because of Covid so I'm not entirely sure but obviously I'm hoping it will sort itself out by the time I get referred. Wishful thinking I know x

@Minster2012 thanks lovely 🥰🥰💗

Mosherchick · 11/10/2020 19:57

@Katecolx Why private, if you don't mind me asking? Are they not providing that on the NHS under Covid?

Minster2012 · 11/10/2020 20:10

@Mosherchick you only usually get 12 week scans on nhs which are usually at 13 weeks x

Mosherchick · 11/10/2020 20:13

@Minster2012 Thanks for clearing that up. I'm a total noob, if you hadn't guessed!

blodyn91 · 11/10/2020 21:01

@lucyrp @Juno231 or even cd31, could have had a dip that day if you had taken it 🤭 but doesn't really matter on exact date as long as you have ovulated!! 🤞🤞 they stay high!

blodyn91 · 11/10/2020 21:04

@Minster2012 ohh I hope everything is ok with OH, remember at one time he thought he was going to loose you, now he has you and your son- which is a miracle and a dream come true for him! 💜💜

Franklydear · 11/10/2020 21:05

Hey @Minster2012, glad you’re round again, in term of 🥒 back in my box, chillfully? Awaiting af, In terms of cycle , I think 5 dpo, based on my smear exam on Tuesday when my nurse commenting on cervix high and soft, she did eye suspiciously and responded with just an ‘ah’ when I told her I am in no contraception at all, she did ask... she is not a nutter, she is also my asthma nurse and knows that pregnancy is not exactly recommended at random for me
How are you feeling? It is hard to digest news.

Minster2012 · 11/10/2020 21:08

That's ok @Mosherchick, a lot of ppl book a "reassurance scan" private scan from 7 weeks onwards cos that 12 weeks is pretty scary when most things can go wrong. With IVF you get a "viability scan" at around 7/8 weeks before you then get discharged into the nhs midwifery system, for my IVF in feb I booked a scan just under 2 weeks before that after a chance ill remark from my mum sent me spiralling into darkness thinking I hadn't felt any symptoms for a while & you should just be able to see a heartbeat on a scan at that point, instead it confirmed my fears & sent me into 2 weeks of checking so I would still do the same again unless I felt constant symptoms but it can be worse for anxiety as like a few ppl have found they felt ok just after the scan then again start worrying all over again 🤷‍♀️it's constant worry really

KateColx · 11/10/2020 21:21

@lucyrp the scan is two days after my first midwife app to so just hoping that weekend goes okay. Yeah I wasn't sure if I would but I'm pretty nervous about it all and especially as OH can't come with me to the NHS one if things stay as they are. Yeah everything crossed that it does sort itself out for you before then 💕 what will they be looking for in the next referral, to see if you're ovulating? I see you've still covered all possible days just in case 😂 xx

@Mosherchick yeah like @Minster2012 said ill get the 12/13 week scan on the NHS but it just feels like a really long way off at the moment so want to have one a little sooner. My OH also can't come to the NHS one as it stands at the mo, but he can come to a private one ☺️ x
