Also got one this morning. 11dpo, so not out totally yet and trying to stay positive about it all, but yesterday’s mindfuck really hasn’t helpful.

Riddle me this: 11dpo, temp still staying up (went down on 11dpo last month), near constant nausea, no appetite and sicky burps for several days (Sorry tmi), and my normal AF sign of giant period boobs nowhere in sight. No AF type cramps either.

I’m going to wait for AF and then swap test brand if she doesn’t come by Tuesday. I only have internet cheapies and the reviews aren’t seem to think they’re not that reliable.

I have a Skype consult with a gyno for my HSG on the 23rd 😩 was briefly hopeful I wouldn’t need it after all but now not so sure.

Just read my comment back to myself and I don’t seem to be able to type anymore. Something has definitely stolen my brain. Hopefully 👶 not 🩸

@Hopeful110 I dtd during the tww, I read that the swimmers make the environment better for implantation ☺️
@NestinginNL I got a BfN at 10dpo on an IC then didnt test again till 14dpo and that was clear but quite faint, so 🤞🤞🤞 for you

@Minster2012 😣😣 I was really hoping for a BFP! I just hope that things are different with ivf 😩

@NestinginNL I agree with @blodyn91, ICs tend to pick up a lot later so I would get an FRER

@blodyn91 thank you, yeah a lot of ppl assume IVF will guarantee you a baby but not the case, still the embryo has to be right, the uterus environment has to be right etc. We were very lucky our first time (but transferred to my best friend who isn't faulty like me & conceived both of her children in months 1 & 2 of trying so it could easily be me that's the issue) so we got BFP last time but miscarriage, now BFN. We've got one embryo left.

It doesn't help that DH gone shooting again & his cousin came to pick him up so I was very red faced from crying (still on pjs & jumper but that doesn't matter) so I didn't want to look at him.

@blodyn91 @Minster2012 this is reassuring. My ICs say they’re extra sensitive but I’m sceptical. Can’t get first response here! So just relying on the Dutch drug store brand. If we weren’t about to go away I’d be ordering FR from Amazon UK.

What’s the consensus on the Clear Blue digitals? Reliable or not? I think I can get the type that say “pregnant” here somewhere 🤔

@Minster2012 I’m sure he didn’t notice. Men are very oblivious to things like that 🤗 have you got any nice plans for the day to distract yourself? Have a puppy picture, I was sent it yesterday and it helped a little and it’s about the most I can do over the Internet 😅

@NestinginNL def try the clear blue one that says pregnant/not pregnant, they are pretty reliable I think, thank you for the beautiful puppy picture, when do you get him/her (was it Sherlock?) if you are getting that strong symptoms it should pick it up.

@Vil10 sat here with a moody 2 year old who is whinging as daddy's gone, it's horrendous outside & I need to walk the dogs & child in the rain & after DH (& very non committal me just saying "do whatever I'm sure I don't know if seeing ppl with a baby is a good distraction or not") invited friends over tomorrow so I need to go food shopping too. Mehhhhhhhhh

@Minster2012 Morse ☺️ On Monday. Leaving for Spain this evening. Oh that sounds grim, can’t be helping things! Although when I’m miserable I quite like walking in miserable weather. Pathetic fallacy in lit terms.

The only other thing I can think of as causing the nausea is that I used to get nauseous the morning before we’d travel. But not 3 days before 🤔 and I don’t anymore.

Ah well. We’ll know soon one way or another.

@Minster2012 oh darling 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 I'm so so so so very sorry :( no ivf most certainly isn't a sure fire way! My sisters 4 eggs that got extracted only 1 was good the other 3 were empty :( it's just a shit year all round really for gods sake. So so sorry I was really hoping you'd have some good news xxx

I couldn't dtd last night I used a syringe instead, these lil 1ml ones are amazing and picked up all the sperm quickly and efficiently. Will be using them more if I have to! No soft cervix yet or anything, I think I may have ovulated earlier than normal and that's why I've missed it. Anyway we will see x

@Minster2012 do what you need to, and make DH do it too, my DH also needs to be told specifically, anything we can do to distract you?
@NestinginNL where in Spain you going? I love a long drive, but that is probably because I don't actually drive and am only a passenger 🤣

No news here at CD9. Had a quickie this morning though and realised it's the third BD sesh in a week so OH must be in a good mood atm! I just hope he hasn't tired himself out the week before FW...

@Franklydear we’re doing a pretty non stop drive to the hillside town just above Valencia where our puppy is, then we have about 10 days to slowly meander back up through the hills of Northern Spain and South of France ☺️ Sounds idyllic in theory but it’s going to be bloody freezing at night 😂 the van we’ve hired has hearing thankfully, but I don’t think it’s that powerful. Blankets and snuggling!

I love a road trip ☺️ Although right now we’re driving in absolutely pounding rain!

And yes, 4dpo is too early to symptom spot 😂 but keeping fingers crossed for you!

I have left my pregnancy tests at home. Deliberately. Going to try and forget about it all and see what happens and if AF turns up.
