As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

Hey Jules, thanks I think I'll see how the next few days go and then decide. Its just nice to know I'm not the only one IYSWIM.

SK - "right kids here's the video of the shag that made you" LOL - DP and I were laughing earlier as he is away tonight and I had a darker line on an OPK today but not darker than the test line plus have EWCM so wondered if maybe tomorrow when he is back will be the day and he said if we do conceive it on halloween we aren't calling it Damien. Spooky indeed LOL

Cheekster · 30/10/2007 21:31

cricri · 30/10/2007 21:38

Jules So sorry to read about everything you've been through over the past few weeks. It's more than anybody should have to bear. Hope the counselling went OK today and as others have said, don't give up hope. It will happen, for all of us here hoping for BFPs. I was also very moved by the post from Jess1996. Fingers crossed for all of us.
Hope everybody else is OK this evening and looking forward to some good news from SK tomorrow morning

Jules
She s right with all the advice (I was advised the same) - lots of exercise, healthy living etc - but god is it hard!

All I want to do right now is eat loads of chocolate and take aways (cant be bothered to cook) and drink lots of wine while slobbing about watching tv.

Although I must say my dbf treated me to a spa day today and swimming, gym and definitely the treatments have made me feel 200% better.

You seem much better today Keep that chin up!

splishsplosh · 30/10/2007 21:59

Jules - I'm glad to hear you are getting good support. At least with the recommendations for ttc, you have plenty to focus on - getting yourself in the best condition you can, and maybe spoiling yourself rotten, whether that's lots of cakes, or a holiday or whatever you like best.

becklespookle · 30/10/2007 23:28

Jules, so sorry you have been feeling so low and at how hard things have been for you since we last 'spoke'. I so hope the next LO sticks for you, you deserve it so much. Please don't feel low by yourself when there are so many of us on here who care!

becklespookle · 30/10/2007 23:30

Also congrats to those with BFPs or suspected ones! Come and join us on the pg after m/c thread when you feel brave enough, for the first few weeks it was the closest thing to an a/n thread I dared to post on and everyone there will have some idea how you are feeling now x

ronshar · 31/10/2007 09:52

Hey ladies. I am currently driving myself mad symptom spotting. I have increasing boobs in size and soreness, feel a bit tired and sick. Could test tomorrow but I am not going to. I am going to be strong and wait until at least Sunday

Jules I really feel for you and the extreme pain you are feeling. All I can say is that for me, I try to distract myself with exercise. I dont over do it. I am still a big size 12. It gives me something else to think about and the rush you get after is brilliant. Every body has at least 1 thing that gives them that feeling. Find your 'thing'. If nothing else it will get you out and about with a different purpose in life. Who knows what may happen then. Just ignore me if you think I am talking bollocks I wont be offended.

Sweetkitty what CD are you?? I am CD21 of a maybe 24/25?
KateandDmom We shall all miss you terribly. You always appear at the right moment with excellent advice and pearls of wisdom and fun. Please remember we are always here for you. Also could you not just start a new thread for us before you go, this one is getting very full-up!

spookykitty · 31/10/2007 13:51

hi everyone sorry thought I had posted on every thread, got a BFP this morning am happy but worried in case it doesn't stick, will go for scans at 8 and 12 weeks so a long 4 week in store for me, in some ways it's sad my naivity has gone that BFP = baby at the end but in other ways I'm lucky to have had 2 pregnancies before the mc, some on here don't have that also means I will be so grateful if everything does go well and if it does that's the last one.

Don't worry am staying on this thread forever so you are not getting rid of me that easily

DUSTIN · 31/10/2007 13:58

spookykitty Congratulations

Jules don't know what to say. Really hoping that everything works out for you.

Kateandmom Sad that you are leaving but I can understand your reasons.

grinningbee · 31/10/2007 14:20

I know I said it on the other thread, but congratulations again SK!

I don't know what's the matter with me at the moment. I'm grumpy and tearful, and I know I'm being grouchy towards DH when I don't mean to be. It could be PMT, but who knows! Still waiting for AF to appear after the mmc.

Ttc isn't too easy at the moment. We're moving back into our house at the moment (bit by bit!) after living in a caravan for 8 (insert rude word here) months after we got flooded. Add to that DH's treatment (bless him) which rules out 4 days a week (and then he fell asleep for one of the good days!) and I'm stressed!

I've been weeing on OPK sticks since I stopped bleeding, but nothing so far. Ho hum.

Just needed a rant while I take a quick break from moving stuff.

Hope everyone is ok today.

cricri · 31/10/2007 15:09

Congratulations from me again SK! Grinningbee - Good luck with the house move. It sounds as though you've got a lot on your plate at the moment, what with the mmc and your DH's treatment so it could be stress that's making you tearful.
As far as the OPKs are concerned, I think it's normal not to ovulate for a cycle after a mc. Some women do, some don't so that's why you may not be getting a positive result. Did you do a pg test after your mc to see whether or not the pg hormones had gone?
Fingers crossed AF gets here soon and you can get on with ttc on a fresh cycle. Or maybe you'll have a BFP!

makecakesnotwar · 31/10/2007 15:49

Big hugs and congratulations Spooky kitty. Keeping everything crossed.

PS- am flosspot with a new name. Felt like a change...

herbaceous · 31/10/2007 15:52

Hello girls. well, the plot thickens. CD30, sharp pains now and then, sore boobs when walking down stairs, funny lips (mouth, not ladygarden), and, if EWCM is to be believed, day 19 of luteal phase. Lordy.

cricri · 31/10/2007 16:13

Herbaceous How long is your cycle normally? When are you going to test?! The signs sound good anyway so fingers crossed!

herbaceous · 31/10/2007 16:25

Last one was 30 days, but the two before that were 28...

EllieG · 31/10/2007 16:48

Congratulations spookykitty! Lovely news x
Hoping for bfp for ronshar and herby now

grinningbee · 31/10/2007 18:26

Thanks cricri

I did test after the mmc, and have had a negative, so I know how things stand in regard to that at least.

As for being pg... I've had far too much wine just lately, purely medicinal of course! I feel as if AF is on her way, but I seem to remember thinking that before and then it never turned up... nah, it won't be that.

Is it just me that feels like stamping her feet because all I want is to be pg? Because of the work I do it seems like every other person I see has a bump or a pram.

I think I'm going potty...

ladylush · 31/10/2007 18:53

Bit despondent tonight. Popped into a chinese medicine place to enquire about acupuncture and the man checked my wrists then told me not to bother ttc for next few months as my hormone levels are too low and I would probably m/c if I got pregnant before that. How can he tell what level my hormones are just from feeling my wrists? If I left it another few months before ttc my dreams of a summer baby would fly out of the window and what if it takes me a long time after to conceive. I don't know who or what to believe anymore.

ClairePO · 31/10/2007 19:35

Congrats again SK

Hugs for ladylush and grinningee

Odd what they said at the chinese medicine place - did he say how he could tell? I would take it with a pinch of salt, pleaase don't get too down about it.

splishsplosh · 31/10/2007 19:54

Congratulations SK - fab news, hope goes well

gillypumpkin · 31/10/2007 20:01

Ladylush, in Chinese medicine they feel the wrists to take your pulse (its an alternative way to the usual medical one); they also check the tongue (coating, colour and edges). This is meant to give them an idea of your overall wellbeing but how he could tell that you had low hormone levels beats me! My acupuncturist says it is a combination of things as well as a lot of personal info on your periods, digestions, sleep and work patterns that she uses to decide how to treat me each week.

If you are keen to seek an acupuncturist then its better if you go direct to the British Acupuncture Council and search for one using your postcode. Ask lots of questions before you decide to go with one and in your case ensure that they have dealt with fertility issues before. Also ask them if they dispense Chinese herbs as not all of them do. I've had 5 sessions now and been on the herbs (capsule form) for 2 weeks. Whereas I don?t think this cycle has been successful, I?m holding hope for cycle 12 after mc. I have already noticed how the acupuncture has stabilsed my cycle so I guess something good is happening!!

Ronshar and Herby ? fingers crossed for you both

SK ? congratulations!!

Katemom, don?t know if you are still around but I just wanted to say that you will be missed. You were always a great one for no nonsense advice, shoulder to cry on, compassion and a laugh.

Grinningbee, yes bumps and prams are everywhere! On Saturday I counted 9 bumps and lost count of the prams!!!
