As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am an August baby. Its brilliant you are always on holiday to celebrate your birthday.

Have we got any closer to sorting out our cake fest? It is next week.

gillypumpkin · 29/10/2007 10:04

I;m still up for it but only if you are meeting at 6pm or after. I think Torres is keen too.

ronshar · 29/10/2007 10:07

Have you any ideas where we shall meet. Not being a London girl I dont really know where is closest to you for work etc! Also EllieG is over from Jersey so we should meet somewhere easy for her to get to. What do you think?

gillypumpkin · 29/10/2007 10:16

I think its best if Ellie picked a place and then you can travel in and people like myself and torres can find you. We both work very near the centre.

herbaceous · 29/10/2007 10:45

I might be able to cake, too! So keep me posted...

flosspot · 29/10/2007 11:25

Congrats ILTS- that's great news!!!!

Just checking in to see if you were any nearer to sorting cake fest......

ronshar · 29/10/2007 11:27

Ah that sounds like a good idea. So Ellie up to you love. No pressure.

I have finally managed to sort myself out and now understand Facebook and have put myself on the Mumsnet group. Is anyone else here on it as I shall find your pictures! I also like poking people as I find vv funny. I am immature I know!

lissiethevampireslayer · 29/10/2007 11:29

im on there ronshar. guess the name. go on

ronshar · 29/10/2007 11:43

What, there are over 500 on that site!
I did start looking, playing guess the MC lady, gave up as no-one on there looked like they deserved the misery of MC!
Can you guess who I am Lissie or am I showing my supreme ignorance and it is obvious I am the latest addition or something

lissiethevampireslayer · 29/10/2007 11:47

im in the mn group.

ronshar · 29/10/2007 12:05

Hang on I think I found you. Are you Lissie with a W?
I have found Sweetkitty and ILTS.
Look at me almost computer literate.

lissiethevampireslayer · 29/10/2007 12:06

i am. have added you to my friends!

ronshar · 29/10/2007 12:07

Why thank you lady.

ladylush · 29/10/2007 12:18

SK - I feel the same as you. Always got pregnant straight away before

wheelybug · 29/10/2007 12:42

Me too SK/LL - we weren't even trying last time .... hmm.. maybe there's something in that. Right, lets all stop wanting babies - that should do it . Why is it so hard .

I'm not on the MN facebook group - am on facebook in my RL name so am a bit scared to add that to the MN group .

goingfor3 · 29/10/2007 12:45

Ladies don't give up hope. Purely by conincidence a friend and I statred trying at the same time at the start of the year. Prior to this we had both concieved three times at the first attempt but both mc'd one of the pregnanceis and have twp healthy children. This time round has been so much harder for us both. It took a few months to get pregnant this time round and them we both mc'd. I got pregnant the first cycle after the mc and it took my friend about three or four months. I just found out today that she is pregnant again and is due about 1 month after me. It shows that it even though we had no trouble the first times it was more difficult this time and hopefully in 7 months we will both be holding our new babies and I hope you will all be well on the way to doing the same!

spookykitty · 29/10/2007 16:07

I agree maybe we should get drunk, hapharzardly try and use and condom, go get the MAP for it not to work bound to get knocked up then.

ladylush · 29/10/2007 16:41

that should do it SweetKitty. At least 3 of us are in the same boat and can empathise. Good to hear from you Gfor3. How's it going? Great that you and your friend will have babies so close in age

lissiethevampireslayer · 29/10/2007 16:42

i keep telling dh that i dont want a baby really in hope that fates listening

ladylush · 29/10/2007 16:44

Good news about your positive opk though

lissiethevampireslayer · 29/10/2007 16:46

i know, cant remember the last time i saw a real line on a weestick!
this is our month ladies, i feel it in my (apparently oving) water!

ladylush · 29/10/2007 16:48

Drank quite a bit of alcohol this month due to it being my mate's hen night and my brother's birthday so secretly relieved period has come along otherwise would've been worried. No reason to cane it this month.

gillypumpkin · 29/10/2007 16:57

Hi all, one of you kind souls posted a hynotherapy link on this thread, I've been scanning for it but cannot find it (the thread is sooo long). Can you post it again for me please? Something else to add to my 'what are you doing this month to get pg' list

katendmom · 29/10/2007 17:09

ILTS OH MY GOD! CONGRATS!!! And that the thought of you not being on the internet due to DP love for mobile conversations! And we wouldn't know the first second that you knew that you were PREGNANT!!! So, so excited for you. Take a great care of yourself - with a house full of kittens and 3 DC already, it might be tough~

TJuice how are you, sweetie? I hope your pain has gone away and your infection is clearing up.

Hi to the rest of the girls! I am really-really there with you girls - those who just got AF or just about to get it. It is not fair... Growing up I thought that if you were a woman, having babies what not really a matter of "if" but rather "when." It certainly proves different. I haven't been doing any proper BD this month and really haven't done any extra curricular - so if I get an AF - I deserve it I have also been helping myself to a glass of red almost every night... so you know - not the ideal temple for the baby.

But DS seems to be doing better with his ear infection, thank God. I really, really hope he doesn't have to go on antibiotics again. It seems he's been on it every other week since he was born!

Big hugs to all of you, girls, who're not feeling too perky. Our time will come, it is just around the corner I think {Kate wonders off, picking from behind the corner}

Glad your ds's ear infection has cleared up. Ear infections are nasty - especially for children.
