As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

at long distance relationship between ilts or should I say Ilabs. Katendmom - yes I see you point. You should be getting simultaneous bfps! Ilabs - sorry about bfn but it's early days. Don't give up hope as you are testing early.

Starlight - how are you today?

Claire - sorry about tew arriving

ladylush · 17/10/2007 16:53

Hi Sk - how much bding have you been doing? Ahem, I mean everyday or every other day? I've been doing it every other day but as CD14 today I was wondering whether I should go again tonight (we did last night)to give it one more chance. Or will I disturb the sperm from getting on with their work? Oh dear, this ttc lark is so confusing.

spookykitty · 17/10/2007 17:00

ladylush - this cycle BDed on Sunday, last night and will try tonight and tomorrow night. This is a bit excessive for us TBH.

DD1 - once that month 9 months ttc
DD2 - once that month, first cycle ttc
MC - Cd12, 14 and 16, first cycle ttc

last month BDed CD8, 10, 12 ,14 and 16 BFN

spookykitty · 17/10/2007 17:01

tonight will only be one extra BD IYSWIM, I thought that all the sperm can have a race and fight to get to the egg

iliketoeatbatteredsausage · 17/10/2007 17:24

oh sk you make it sound so romantic

katendmom did it just for you only drawback is you now owe me £8.95!

lovely to see you all have faith in me not testing early Im gonna test tomorrow now just to spite you all and in the hope that i am going to get exploited

spookykitty · 17/10/2007 17:30

batteredsaus - I think it's the scientist in me everything is so precise, we can have romance the rest of the time, TTC week is functional sex

Ronshar hugs again.

nh101andhertwobeans ,faint. OMG!!! WOW!!!!!! for you!!!!!

starlight isn't it sad we feel like that? like because they;re not going to take us seriously until we have 3 we need to get on with it

iltebs - i did see it at the time, and i laughed, but i have totally forgotten WHY the battered saus thing came about. . do re-explain> Please.

Gilly thanks for your insight last week. sorry not to have acknowledeged it. I too am an only child, yet am still the one asking the questions about what if my dd is an only . I was thinking the other day that I actually have no regrets being an only - my childhood was generally nice, and now my mum and dad dote on my dd and she gets all their attention, plus i donlt have to share their time with anyone else . Is that too shallow and simplistic?

Am cd 23 right now (of approx 30). trying not to think about sympton spotting. But i have in my head that i'll be pg this cycle and i shouldn't be thinking that. grr.

grinningbee · 17/10/2007 18:21

Must admit, I've also been wondering how the cycle goes after an m/c.

Do you count it from when the bleeding started, or when... um... everything came out?

flosspot · 17/10/2007 18:26

9th November is getting closer....any takers? Any ideas whereto get good cake?

katendmom · 17/10/2007 18:27

I am no expert here ... but I am not sure if after MC you can count like you count after an AF... I think you can certainly go for it but I am not sure hwo days work out... I also read somewhere (SORRY) that some women don't OV in the first cycle right after MC (but then I read somewhere else) that you might not OV on like every 10 cycle or something... So I'd say just do it

Cycle starts from first day of red blood. OV will occur depending on how long your cycle is mostly.
Try babyhopes.com/ovulation-calendar. That is the one I used last month and got BFP first time. Did the deed on exactly the day it said I was most fertile!!
I have reprinted my schedule and I shall be doing the deed on Sunday. And maybe Saturday. And maybe Monday.
Alittlebiteshy, I am so happy you are back. I'm almost the only one left from March

alittleBITEshy · 17/10/2007 18:32

I am soooooo jealous of the cakefest mark 2 . We'll be away on a families pilgrimage thing which will be loads of fun, but I doubt as much cake!!!

I'd advise not to got to the place we went last time (argh - was it called otto lenghi? - in upper st) cos as lovely as it was, we were renegated to bar stool/breakfast bar type seats cos they keep the proper tables for people having dinner after a certain time. grr.

ronshar · 17/10/2007 18:32

Flosspot I am so ready for 9th November. Bring it on thats what I say

alittleBITEshy · 17/10/2007 18:34

Ronshar - i never went. I just felt out of place so didn't post as much. call me paranoid or irrational lol.

goingfor3 · 17/10/2007 18:34

My cycles were between 23 and 26 days pre mc. The cycle after mc was 35 days which is not unusal as they can be longer after an mc but it depends at what stage it was. Very early mc's may not affect your cycle.

alittleBITEshy · 17/10/2007 18:44

hmmm... after my first m/c i think i had 2 short cycles - 2o ish days each. then i got pg again, and after that m/c it was a 36 day cycle. so they were a little altered each time from my 30-32 ish one normally. and both my m/cs were at just before 6 weeks, so.....

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 19:59

I've been wondering today how long this cycle will be. Before mc I was always 28 days. I mc at 9 weeks but baby stopped growing at 5 weeks

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 20:05

What's the 9th Nov? I'm always up for cake!

ronshar · 17/10/2007 20:22

Alittlebite, I know exactly what you mean.

It takes a long time to get out of that MC mind set and sometimes you want to be some body else. Not ronshar who MCed.

We are hopefully going to meet up on 9th Nov.
There were a few lucky ones who made a meet up in August. My dd2 had chicken pox so nursery wouldnt take her

Are we going for cake or champagne?????

katendmom · 17/10/2007 21:06

Just looked at the link (the ovulation calendar thingy) and it looks like I won't OV until October 24. So technically I have no chance of getting pg until at least like October 21 (just to be on a safe side - few days before OV) so HEY - I can have all the wine that I want until then and I am DRINKING IT ALL! LOL Cuz then I'm going sober for 2 weeks... I swear...

and I am SO about your cake gathering!

lissiethevampireslayer · 17/10/2007 21:22

thanks, what made it worse was the fact that i have had my registration appt with a new doc today and i had to list all of my pgs. it made for pretty sombre reading

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 21:31
