It’s our first month of vaguely trying so I’m not convinced that it will obviously happen but despite that it’s dragging so much !

12dpo and sti bfnSad
Anyone have any advice, as I used opk straight after coil removal and have not yet had a period, what is best to do?
Wait til I get a period before using opk or start using opk again now to be sure I don't miss anything?

greenjavapiano · 18/10/2020 22:41

@katierose34 I would say wait until after period as that’s your next cycle.

I’m out too, AF started this morning. Babydust to everyone for this and future cycles Daffodil

purplepoppet92 · 19/10/2020 07:12

I had such vivid dream last night that I found out I was pregnant. Got to tell OH the way I planned to, everything went great!
I'm 10dpo and couldn't resist testing after that dream - negative. Now im a little heart broken

Katierose34 · 19/10/2020 08:31

Af arrived this morning Sad
Isn't it strange, we are so excited/emotional in our 2ww and then it gets to the point your delighted to have Af as it means a new cycleGrin
Oh what we women go through!

Did you get a positive OPK since you started using them?
eloiseislost · 19/10/2020 08:36

@Katierose34 Oops sorry, that was a stupid question, you said 12DPO 🤦🏻‍♀️ Too early in the morning!! I would wait a few more days, your luteal phase might be more than 12 days.

Trying4one · 21/10/2020 14:26

Hi ladies. I hope you are all well. I just wanted to give you an update. I was having mild cramps all night so saw my GP this morning, who wasn't too concerned but sent me for a scan to rule out ectopic. Wasn't expecting to see much this early but saw the sac where it should be (not in my tubes) and outlines of the inner sac where the embryo will be. Going back for another scan in two weeks to check for a heartbeat ❤️ HCG was 2000.
I have my fingers crossed for all of you this cycle 🤞

Sionemam · 21/10/2020 15:18

@Trying4one that’s such wonderful news thanks for sharing!! Keep us updated :-)
I’m on day 9 of cycle (ovulate in about 6 days)
How’s everyone else doing x

Katierose34 · 21/10/2020 19:19

That's great news, I hope all goes well.
I still have Af but it's fairly light and I'm excited for the next cycle.

Sionemam · 23/10/2020 08:51

Hello! Happy Friday! I had a line on the ovulation stick yesterday (day 10) so we dtd last night, but today the ov stick line is very faint :-( We only get one shot a month because of husbands meds affecting sperm production so I'm a bit gutted today. Fingers crossed those sperms live for three more days!

Sionemam · 24/10/2020 18:46

Done some research that I thought I'd share just in case anyone (like me) doesn't realise. The line on the ovulation stick needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to indicate a surge. I know this for next month now! Hope everyone doing ok x

LemonDrizzle44 · 24/10/2020 19:04

Hi everyone. Thought I'd check back in to see how everyone is doing? Was wondering how you were getting on @Trying4one. Glad your scan was good news! How far along are you now?

I'm currently CD12 and was gearing up for DTD this week and next week but covid has thrown a spanner in the works. Both me and DP tested positive this week 😞 so now out of the question this month. On the plus side no going crazy with symptom spotting! Hoping for next month instead 🙂

Trying4one · 24/10/2020 19:10

@LemonDrizzle44 oh no. How are you feeling?

I am 5 plus 6. Indigestion is driving me crazy and still getting cramps. Tiredness is kicking in. Had to have a nap today 🤣

LemonDrizzle44 · 24/10/2020 19:31

@Trying4one I'm ok. I have mild symptoms so just taking things easy.
Sounds like things are progressing nicely 😊 as annoying as the symptoms are, I think they're a good sign. I'd imagine no symptoms make some people worry!

Sionemam · 24/10/2020 20:19

@LemonDrizzle44 oh no! Glad your symptoms are mild and good to take it easy. It was nice having a month off last month, though for nicer reasons, so hope you enjoy it too, made me excited to start back and realise it's lucky to be able to try this way x

Sionemam · 24/10/2020 20:21

@Trying4one ah I know it's rubbish, especially the tiredness but just reading your symptoms make me exited for you because of what they mean. Hope you can take it easy too!

Katierose34 · 28/10/2020 21:32

Hello ladies, how is everyone doing? Xx

Sionemam · 29/10/2020 09:42

@Katierose34 thanks for asking! Ok here, only 3DPO so nothing to get excited about yet lol. We did manage to dtd again on CD14 when the ovulation line was darker than the control line (finally got the hang of the sticks!), so I feel like we gave it a good shot.

Do feel sick but can't possibly be anything to do with babies, so just drinking lots of water. How are you?

@LemonDrizzle44 how are you feeling?

@Trying4one and how are you feeling?

Hope everyone is ok xxx

Trying4one · 29/10/2020 09:53

@Sionemam fingers crossed for you. I know it is early but I swear I got a metallic taste in my mouth 1dpo.
Well I am lucky in the sense that I am 6 weeks and 5 days and no sign of morning sickness. However my legs really ache at night and I keep getting night sweats so I am not sleeping well. Boobs are aching as well. Indigestion comes and goes. My advice to people is only take gaviscon if you really need to because it adds to the constipation that pregnancy is already gifting you with 😂😂😂😂 all these symptoms will be worth it when I have a little baby in my arms ❤️
I have got another scan in just under a week so I am keeping fingers crossed that I shall see a heartbeat 🤞

LemonDrizzle44 · 29/10/2020 09:55

@Sionemam I'm feeling ok. My symptoms thankfully haven't got any worse. Although I have done nothing but lay on the sofa! Today is my last day of isolation. Looking forward to going for a short walk tomorrow if I have the energy. Thank you for asking 😊. I am hoping covid hasn't messed with my cycle. I'm CD17 and haven't ovulated yet. I was reading last night about the effects of viral infections. Really don't want longer cycles!

LetsD0ThisThing · 29/10/2020 10:34

Hi everyone, sorry I've been a bit quiet. DH and I have been off with the kids this week which has been lovely. But I've been having terrible migraines everyday for about 15 days now, I'm officially in my 2ww, only 2dpo but don't want to take my migraine medication as there's not enough evidence on the affects it can have in pregnancy. I had a really big drop in my bbt this morning, not sure this is normal for 2dpo? I'm starting to convince myself I'm not actually ovulating following my LH spike.

@LemonDrizzle44 sorry to hear you've been poorly with covid. Hope you're feeling better now.

@Trying4one ohh your symptoms, it's exciting isn't it, I remember being really excited when I had my first morning sickness but then I had it all the way through both times, so hoping yours stays away as long as possible and dissappears all together by the 2nd trimester Smile

Sionemam · 29/10/2020 12:45

@LetsD0ThisThing ah bless you migraines are the worst, though glad you've having fun with the kids :-)

@LemonDrizzle44 fingers crossed no cycle changes, could be just coincidence or stick at wrong time of day?

Are you all taking folic acid at this point?

Katierose34 · 29/10/2020 18:08

That's good ladies, fingers crossed. I. Waiting on ovulation, hopefully this coming week at some point Grin

LemonDrizzle44 · 01/11/2020 21:14

@Sionemam I don't opk only track bbt. I'm now CD20 still haven't ovulated and still don't have any of my usual symptoms. This cycle will now be 36 days at least 😞

Sionemam · 03/11/2020 19:37

@LemonDrizzle44 I'm so sorry that's horrible on top of covid, hope you're back to normal next month, unless anything has happened late? xx
