Shazza you sound really down and I'm not surprised. Trying to work out what your cycle is going to be after the pill is really annoying, and my cycles are really regular. If I'd got to day 33, I'd be tearing my hair out!! Some poor girl on here a few months ago had an eighty-something day cycle, it must have been awful. This is why they tell you to give up the pill and then ttc after 3 months, but I can't help thinking this is the month every month, despite my logical brain and logical DH telling me that the pill isn't out of my system yet.

Bucky glad to hear you'r getting a dog - that should keep the burglars away!

Shazza2002 · 21/10/2007 19:39

Thanks for your comments excitable I know there are other people worse off but still so frustrating. Also what's confusing me is had Ov pains on CD13 which is pretty normal, which means I'm now in the luteal phase that has lasted 20 days!! If I hadn't had the Ov pains then I would just be thinking I haven't Ov.

Anyway, enough about me. How is everybody else this evening?

spookykitty · 21/10/2007 22:08

shazza - poor you are you sure the pains were ov pains though might have just been aches and pains, hopefully AF will turn up soon for you x

Excitable - don't give up hope, my friend got pregnant first month of coming off the pill (lucky cow), took me 9 months!!!

ladylush - hello cycle buddy glad you had a good hen weekend

abbevillemum - I'm a nightmare and would probably test every day until AF turns up x

Morning ladies
7 is my new lucky number
after 7 of the longest months i finally have a BFP!!
Its not really sunk in yet and am still thinking TEW will arrive due to symptoms being exactly the same for the last 6 months.
I did a CB digital on CD25 and got a BFN, and after 26day cycles for the last six months thought it odd that TEW had not arrived by sunday so did another CBdigital and got a BFP

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou to you lovely ladies on this forum, i know i have'nt posted too much (internet access is limited), but i read this thread regularly and it offers so much support when times are not looking so rosy and the symptoms are torturing us!

Congrats QofB

Fingers crossed for lots more BFPs here very soon

Deb

PicknMix · 22/10/2007 07:37

Congratulations to QoB and Appletise!!!! fabulous news!!

Anniemac so sorry to hear about af sounds like it might be worth giving a specialist a visit if its been 9/10 months.

Hope everybody else has a lovely Monday

GardenAngel4 · 22/10/2007 08:22

GREAT news about BFPs!! Well done!

Am day 34 and can't bear to test as can't face the disappointment, so am going to keep hanging on in case AF arrives which for some reason I could cope with better. Am convinced it's not here because of stress and bad eating....

HOw's everyone else today? shazza are you feeling any better???

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 22/10/2007 08:43

Hi everyone, just popped in quickly and saw the BFP's - CONGRATULATIONS Come and join us in the Anti Natel section

Good luck to the rest of you, keeping my fingers crossed for you all and will keep popping back to check on you

07mumstheword · 22/10/2007 09:09

Appletise Congratulations, fantastic news.

artichokes · 22/10/2007 09:12

Congratulations Appletise .

Anniemac - sorry you got AF. I would go see doctor after 9 months but I would probably tell them it had been 12. If it is NHS they will probably twll you they can't do anything until its been 12 months. Good luck.

Well its now 6 days 'til I can test. I am still really tired so maybe that could count as a symptom but otherwise I have nothing. But then when I got my BFP with DD I had no symptoms. Heres hoping.

Har · 22/10/2007 09:40

Anniemac - very sorry about Af but sounds like you're doing the right thing going to see the specialist. Hopefully everything is fine it's just taking time but it's much better to do something about it.

Congratulations Appletise !!!

MissusH · 22/10/2007 09:57

Hurrah, another BFP!!!!!

Congratulations Appletise - this is such a lucky thread...

Well TEW has packed her bags and flew off to traumatise someone else, so let the bd'ing commence

Have had a weird cycle to be honest - really sore (.) (.) before af arrived (don't usually get this) and a pretty short af - only 3 proper days (iykwim?) instead of 5. Sodding hormones - sent to try us!!

Anyway, have a good day, all

MissusH · 22/10/2007 10:01

Have updated the list for Monday - hope it is all correct?

anniemac, i'd definitely go to see someone. sometimes it's just booking the appointment that makes you feel better.

congrats appletise . lucky number seven! good luck with your pg...are you due june or july?

Sassylou · 22/10/2007 10:30

Another BFP!! Congratulations Appletise.

Here's to the rest of us still waiting. xx

appletise · 22/10/2007 10:55

morning dg
All being well am due end of June, a week after my sister's due
Sore and very heavy (.)(.) was the biggest 2ww symptom, I really hope you all get BFP's soon

abbevillemum · 22/10/2007 10:56

Congrats Appletise.

Still not sign of the TEW from me. Now 4 days late. Starting to go slowly nuts....

spookykitty · 22/10/2007 10:58

Morning all

appletise - wow congratulations another BFP and your first baby too

Nothing much to report here, ages until I can test so just trying to take my mind off it but I don't think this is my month got a bad feeling about it.

Nakamura · 22/10/2007 11:58

Hello again everyone, and congrats to appletise

I have a question - what do you do if you're in the middle of the 2ww, and you think it's quite unlikely that you're pregnant, and you get a stinking cold with horrible sinus pain, and the sudafed says not to take while pregnant?
Actually, I took it before I realised, just didn't have the 'could be pregnant' head on I guess, so I'd like you all to say you would have taken it anyway

But I suppose, for future reference, what kind of harm could it do do you think?

Excitable · 22/10/2007 12:12

I would have taken it anyway. I'm working on the assumption that if I don't know I'm pregnant, I can do what I like

Missnatrich · 22/10/2007 12:34

CONGRATULATIONS APPLETISE AND QUEEN OF BLEACH!!!!

I am very happy for u guys Bring on more of those spooky BFP!!!!!

07mumstheword · 22/10/2007 12:40

Nakamura SNAP! I'm in middle of two wk wait and have horrid cold and chest. I've taken the odd Lemsip direct.

My first PG wasn't planned and I consumed what ever I liked without realising so my theory now is a little shouldn't hurt (especially if you may not even need to avoid these things) and if you get a BFP then you can cut all the recommended things out.

Could also be sods law theory, the one month you do something that maybe you ought not to do you get PG.

There that's all my theories.

I like all your theories 07mtw

Althought, can I confess at this point that I also bought brie at the weekend, perhaps my unconscious brain is trying to tell me something...

Haven't eaten it yet, due AF on the weekend, so perhaps I'll leave it to ripen nicely until then.
