TTC October - bring on the spooky BFP's part 2

Ladies the thread got too big so I have started a new one hope you don't mind, I will cart the list and the tonnes of baby dust over in a minute.......................

evening all t's been v quiet in here today, how is everyone

I have 2 DDs and don't get the no orgasm thing, I personally don't think much of the chose the sex appoach, I think its a roll of the dice really.

CD16 here DP has gone to bed too tired to have sex I'm too pissed off with him anyway nothing maor he's just been crabby tonight. Hope the Wednesday night BDing done the trick.

My first time of updating the list so I hope I didn't make any mistakes!

Yesterday I decided I was pregnant as my period was late. I was so excited. I worked out when the 12 week scan would be and when the baby was due. My DH and I kept on holding hands. But I had promised my DH I would not take another test until this morning so as to prevent disappointment. Now I have taken one of those expensive First Response Early Detection Tests (bought by DH in excitement) and another BFN. I am utterly gutted. As is DH. I realise I could still be pregnant but it looks just as likely that I am not.

Hello! could someone put me on the top, please? It's CD3 for me . Yesterday I went to the doctor to ask for some investigation, and I met a friend of mine who told me she's 14weeks pregnant.She is 43, never had a proper boyfriend, got pregnant naturally.I am gutted to admit that I felt jeaolous, although I AM very happy for her. She also told me that the doctor said that she'd "caught the last train".She is younger than me.I left the surgery without seeing the gp. How bad am I?

Still here still waiting for any pre AF signs sometimes they come and sometimes they don't, not going to worry or get excited for a while, we are still busy with B&B's for the next week and then blessedly no more in the week bookings just weekends and then we go away in November for a few days. Keeping fingers crossed but if TEW hasn't turned up by next weekend then will test.

abbeville I know how it feels to wait all week believing you're PG only to get a BFN. I hope it happens for you soon.

queenofbleach how long are your cycles? If you're already overdue you are remarkably restrained!!

shreksmissus TTC is just a massive waiting game, I'm either waiting for AF, waiting for Ov, waiting to test, waiting for AF. I haven't had a huge amount of symptoms this week, other than the ocassional reminder that AF is due (but WHEN????)

Well, am officially on my longest cycle. CD43. Doctor yesterday was rubbish. Am repeating myself from the 2ww thread, but when I said I got a +ve OPK 3 weeks ago yet not AF and no BFP - doc said 'if the opk said +ve then you did ovulate, anxiety can delay your period'. Really? I thought it can only delay ovulation? I thought once you've ovulated it's between 10-16 days till your period? Why has it been 22 days since the +ve opk?

Sorry for rant. I know I'm not pg, I just want AF to come so I can go and get pissed, eat sushi and stop thinking TTC for a few days.

30 ish days DG, last month was longer so not testing yet, although DH know finishing cleaning as huge wave of nausea. If I got stressed my cycles were longer I think 7-8 weeks was the longest.

Am CD 24 and have been up since 6am today as DS decided to wake early.
Went to the loo first thing and didn't think about anything, but at 9am went again (completely unusual as hadn't drunk anything) and decided on the off chance to test as I've got some cheapy test off e-bay and am sure I can see a very faint 2nd line. Showed it to DH as thought I might be seeing things (wishing it more likely) and even he thinks he can see a very very faint 2nd line (and he doesn't know where the second line should show).
Have had sore (.)(.)s for a week now and cramp feelings for the last few days. Not going to get my hopes up too much until I am actually late. AF not due until Wednesday. Am I being stupid and imagining things as I want a 2nd so badly!!!!

Sorry, I'm CD25 not CD24. I don't know what I am doing today!

Thing is it is sooooooo faint I really don't know. I really don't want to get my hopes up.

libra - if theres a faint line then thats a positive!.....you can only try it again in about 3 days time

Poor libra it's going to be a tough couple of days waiting until you can test again.

Boy did I ovulate this morning! It woke me up again and I felt a huge surge of hormones and rage. doesn't cover it. I'd just woken up, so nothing could have happened, but I was soooo cross! It was about 8 o'clock in the morning and because I have no kids everyone was asleep. DH and the big cat(that's a domestic fat cat, rather than a panther or a tiger) sleeping on the bed were both snoring very loudly and I just lay there with my pain and my rage until I went back to sleep again. It was horrid. Took me quite a while to wake up the next time, I don't think my body wanted to face more pain.

I really hope my hormones don't take over this month like they did last month. They proper held me to ransom last time. So far, I seem able to hold a conversation, so the signs are quite good

Excitable you are brilliant. hormone rage is my friend too, except I quite like it as it allows me to do things I wouldn't normally. Like bite dh on the shoulder when he is snoring loudly "sweetie, I couldn't help myself, I was OVULATING"

When can I start imagining pg symptoms? I'm cd16, no idea when I ovulated. Does cd16 sound too early?? I'm sure I had a dizzy spell earlier that I am sure I could magnify into a surefire sign of pg

Libralady - HELLO Oh....a faint line should turn into a darker line the further along you get. All I've ever heard is that it's not possible to get a false positive, only a false negative I soooooo hope you are!!! Then you can join me and the others in the anti-natal section!

Hi everyone.

Back from Paris now, absouletly knackered!
There was a train/tube strick whilst for te days whilst we were there so we walked everywhere. Working it out we must have easily walked 20 miles in the past 2 days!
Great atmosphere out there now with the rugby final, everyone running around with flags wrapped round them!

Pigley, nice that you're back, hope you had a lovely time despite the sore feet! How perfect if your baby's been conceived there...

Libra - a line is absolutely a line!!! I had a very faint one and absolutely thought I was imagining it too (which is silly, haven't we all stared for hours at enough blank hpts to know when we see one?!) I had definitely stronger the next day and then the day after even stronger and then used a digital for final confirmation! Good luck but it must be a BFP!!!

OOh Libralady - sounds good, I also got a faint line on cd 28 - the day I was due, did another on cd29 and it was still faint then on cd30/31 I did a CBD and got the great "pregnant" message!!

I'm 6 weeks 2 days now, sick as a dog and so tired
