MissusH · 17/10/2007 20:15

Evening everyone - just thought I'd post a Missus update...

BFN this afternoon followed by cramping & spotting - looks like TEW is on her way.

But it ain't over till the fat lady bleeds... (so to speak )

My new plan is to jump dh at every opportunity (he is on a new shift so will be a whole lot easier than the past few months [phew emoticon] ) and to use my opks that have been languishing in the bathroom cabinet. Bring it on

Right, I'm off out to drink lots of wine - back tomorrow....

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 17/10/2007 20:28

MissusH - been popping in all day to hear from you Glad you're being positive about it though I did have tiny traces of blood a few days ago (hardly much but enough for me to think TEW was on her way) - I'm still keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you!

Just wanted to share that not only did I totally forget about ttc this cycle but we also hardly had sex - I think maybe dh needs to give his sperm chance to build up to a good quality as doing it lots didn't get me pg - who knows?

Good luck to everyone and lots more baby dust * * *

mamalex · 17/10/2007 21:04

Hello girls, I think I won't be on the graduate list this month, some spotting since this morning and I know that's the way AF likes to say hello...

spookykitty · 17/10/2007 21:35

MissusH/mamalex - sorry to hear AF is on it's way

SK says hello to newly pregnant looney

abbevillemum - heres hoping TEW visits tomorrow hate saying that but know you want it to be CD1 again

Har · 17/10/2007 22:20

Big wave to my ex cycle buddy SK - want you to come and be my now buddy on the June thread!!!

Missus H - v sorry about potential AF. Have never spotted before periods so don't really know if that's a definite that AF is on way or not. Your fallback plan sounds great though .

Abbeville - I didn't get a positive till 6 days after AF due. And got no on opk (and I went through two packets.) Sk's right though, if Af is going to come it's good for it to come quick then you can get going again.

Off to bed now, good night hugs to you all!

Har · 17/10/2007 22:21

Oh and sorry Mamalex too .

07mumstheword · 18/10/2007 09:00

There were a few signs of AF arriving for some yesterday but it aint over til TEW sets up camp so I've updated the list.

Fingers crossed for some more graduates.

Welcome Minnow.

good morning everyone! hope its lovely and sunny where you are.

I am totally rubbish this month, have bd'd twice. Must try harder. I'll be on this thread for ever at this rate.

Have some pretty baby dust ............ *

mamalex · 18/10/2007 10:00

Good morning! Oh well, I am off! AF's here.As "I look at the bright side of life"-ta da -ta da-ta da, this is the first day of a new hope. Thanks SK and Har.meglet:definetely we have to try harder, I only bd'ed once, I am the laziest here!

artichokes · 18/10/2007 10:43

I only BD's once too. And it was a bit too early. It won't stop me obsessing for the next two weeks and spending a fortune on tests .

how do I change my details on the list? Is the best way to cut and paste the whole thing myself?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 18/10/2007 11:14

To all those worried about not doing it much.........we only did a few times this month

Minnow1 · 18/10/2007 11:16

Thanks abbevillemum and SK.

I thought I was dealing with the mc fine at the time but the longer we are ttc with no BFP the more I find myself wondering 'what if..'

We bd every other night, so hopefully it won't be too long before we get our BFP! Not sure we will be able to keep it up if little one arrives though!

abbevillemum · 18/10/2007 11:17

Thanks for your message Har - It gives me hope. AF is due today or tomorrow - trying to resist doing another test. Think AF would be less of a disappointment than another single blue line....again!

MissusH · 18/10/2007 11:56

Artichokes yes copy & paste into you message and update as appropriate.

Sorry to hear TEW got you Mamalex & MissusH

digitalgirl · 18/10/2007 12:07

missush, hope this new cycle's a lucky one.

MissusH · 18/10/2007 12:32

Thanks dg

I'm trying to be relaxed about it all this time - not worrying about the right time and getting arsey if we don't do it on the right day.

I've got a happy healthy dd who I didn't in a million years think I would have (always had duff relationships until I met dh so thought I'd never be a mum..)

(sorry about that last bit - feeling a bit hormonal which must has activated the philosophical bit of my brain!!)

Good times

Minnow1 - I could have written your message. I had just assumed that i would be pregnant within a cycle or 2. I never considered I would still be TTC in October.

Excitable · 18/10/2007 13:42

I'm getting bored and I'm only on Cycle 3. Going through a bit of a rough patch at work - all woman team and lots of crying, so I'm just dying to get out of here to save my sanity

But then I convince myself that stuff always happens to me at the exact moment I give up hope, and that gives me hope, iyswim...

Minnow1 · 18/10/2007 13:43

When we first started ttc I told myself it might take a while but I didn't really think it would!

Why didn't someone tell me it was this complicated when I was in my twenties????

spookykitty · 18/10/2007 13:49

hi sorry not been about my neice is staying so no time on the pc for me, got a positive on the ebay opks this morning CD15 as before, BDed last night won't tonight one last try on Friday. On a 27 day cycle I think ovulating CD15 is late?

For those worrying about only BDing once a month, I have two "once a month" BFPs sitting watching TV on the sofa right now only takes the once, I have said to DP maybe we are doing it too much!

minnow - I could have written your post as well, this is my second cycle ttc after mc and I will be gutted if I'm not pregnant this month, last two pregnancies were first month of trying. I try not to think about it but I should be about 19 weeks now coming up to the sex scan, it's hard and being pregnant again would ease it a lot.

MissusH - sorry about the EW getting you, loads of wine this weekend think about ttc next week again, new cycle new hope of a BFP!

Abbevillemum - I know what you mean I would rather see AF than another BFN and no AF just to spite you

spookykitty · 18/10/2007 13:51

aww excitable your only cycle 3 honey don't get bored it could take that long for the pill to get out your system and everything to start up again you know

foghorn - any sign of AF for you?

Excitable · 18/10/2007 14:00

Aw thanks SK

I'm just a bit down because of all the crying at work today. Can't take much more of this place.

Minnow1 · 18/10/2007 14:05

My cycles have been between 30 and 39 days since coming off pill in April. Last month I had positive ov test on CD19 and AF on CD30. Positive ov test on CD19 again this month.....
