Hi graciemac
That sounds tough. Living with parents with DH and children in tow can't be easy.
We did for a bit, before DD, and it was hard enough Throw into that a silly dog and a cat and it is asking a lot.

I am with you, in that DD was easy to concieve and I really thought the next one would be too But then I am only on my 2nd cycle and already whining.

ooh! I got some of that metalic taste in my mouth earlier (still have it a bit now) Thats good, isn't it?

graciemac · 15/10/2007 15:18

Definitely a good sign. My boobs get bigger and more tender after ovulation until AF and every cycle i convince myself it's because i'm pregnant. This month i will not! I WILL be strong
Oh and i was wrong. Today is cd22 - one day less to wait!

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 15:32

hello again just been making some cakes with DD1 and we are waiting on the icing to set so we can eat them it's pouring down here now anyway my tests turned up today so collected some pee and did a opk and an hpt (just to check them ) as I am certifiable. opk was negative (as was hpt funnily enough but thought I would have a practice run). CD12 here already am planning BD fest once DP comes back for the next few days.

graciemac - hello and welcome to the mad house, I invent symptoms every month which is pointless because even when I am pregnant I get no symptoms but hey it's fun and passes the time on the 2ww.

fairysnuff - your getting close to T day now how ling is your cycle, when you testing (SK is getting excited)?

abbevillemum - so know what you are going through with the early testing and wanting to know, your not alone ((((hugs)))) it's hard when before you've got pregnant without even thinking about it, now you note CDs, use opks, ovulate, have sex at the right times and still BFN

looney - looking good for you too everything crossed

anyone else about to test theres a lot of you at the end of the list now

07mumstheword · 15/10/2007 15:47

Hey Ladies

Sorry not been around, i made the decision to break up from DP for good at the weekend, he's getting on my nerves and being immature.
but theres someone else i want to be with, and he's a great man i know i'll be more happy with him. we were only trying for a baby in the hop

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/10/2007 16:26

Sorry about double posts DD is on my lap

Meglet · 15/10/2007 17:01

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/10/2007 17:36

I'll keep any eye on you ladies

pigleychez · 15/10/2007 18:14

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the comments Har Havent been to Paris yet, off on Wednesday and cant wait!! Going to start packing tonight!

Hi and welcome to graciemac
Be prepared to be addicted to Mumsnet!

Wow ! What a big decision Muppet! Hope your happier now

DH has just told me that his colleagues wife is pregnant again!! That makes baby number 6!!
They started with Triplets - which is prob where I would stop! crazy people! He says his wife just likes kids.
Apparently they dont have a Tv at home... thought about hiding ours but at 42" its a bit big for the cupboard!

Last day of work tomorow then Paris here we come!! Not that im excited at all!

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 18:33

pigley - enjoy your trip, I know a girl who has just had her fourth, she has twin DDs 3.3years, DD3 22 months and a 2mo newborn DS, insane! I get stressed sometimes thinking about 3 but now I'm like bring it on!

07mumstheword · 15/10/2007 18:41

muppet No wonder you've been quiet. Sorry to hear that and I hope everything works out for you.

Pigley Have a fantastic trip.

I won a bid for some HPT's and OPK's on E-bay last night, paid today so they are on there way. I'm hoping sods law will kick in so that now I have a large supply of OPK's I wont need them.

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 18:44

I'm hoping the same thing 07MTW

who did you get yours from mine was Fertility Friend?

07mumstheword · 15/10/2007 18:52

Mine was from "youwannaknow". It's the first one that came up and had 100% positive feedback which says "product as described" but whether that is just the look of them rather than the effectiveness of them I don't know. Still it gives me something to look forward to.

abbevillemum · 15/10/2007 19:10

Girls, question for you (can't ask DH as he bored of the whole topic!) - how long would you TTC before going to see a doctor? I am starting to wonder if something is wrong but wonder if they would just pooh pooh me cos we only miscarried at the end of June.

GardenAngel4 · 15/10/2007 19:12

Wow muppet that must have been some weekend. Hope you feel relieved and positive about what's round the corner......

GardenAngel4 · 15/10/2007 19:14

abbeville, I believe (from friends' experiences) if you are 35 or over (no shame in that!) it's about 6 months depending on your doctor otherwise about a year.

abbevillemum · 15/10/2007 19:21

Thanks gardenangel
a year seems like such a long time! now I just need to work out whether the year starts from the MC or from when we were starting???

07mumstheword · 15/10/2007 19:58

Abbevillemum I agree with GA4 and from your last posting I would say the year is from when you start trying not from when you had MC.

artichokes · 15/10/2007 20:32

Thanks for the warm welcomes last night. I am reading along and trying to remember who is who. Not quite up to personals yet though!

I think I should ovulate today or tomorrow but DH is away until Wednesday. Crap. He was here until this morning and we did our best so I suppose we have a small chance this month.

For the list can I just correct my info? The details should be:

Artichokes CD20 Cycle 1 TTC#2

digitalgirl · 15/10/2007 20:39

HAR congrats on the BFP!!!! You lucky thing, get to go onto the ante-natal threads, it's like big school for us little school girls.

Well, still no AF here on CD38. Have psychotically convinced myself, that I didn't ov two weeks ago and that I ov'ed last Friday. So am eye-twitchingly pretending to be on another 2ww....crazy damn fool that I am.

So if no AF this week, will probably test next Saturday anyway, just coz I'll be on CD43 then and that's 2 days longer than last cycle. Although, if I'm genuinely on a 2ww I should wait till CD50. But that's just ridiculously far away. Surely a doc will put me out of my misery before then (like a limp racehorse).

muppet you sound like you've pretty much made up your mind about how you feel, I wish you all the luck in the world that it works out for you

piggley wow, how on earth do people afford SIX babies?

welcome graciemac and artichoke. good luck!

am dangling perilously close to the edge. Mcdreamy and piggley have been quiet for a while...are you still out there?? (dg echoes, echoes, echoes...)

Har · 15/10/2007 21:19

Am going to check everyone's news tomorrow morning but just wanted to check in and see if strange-cm buddy digital had any news. Have been waiting for you to reappear. How have you been staying away?!

Thanks so much for the congratulations , I am so happy and excited and just praying that all goes as it should do (am now symptom spotting in a bad way... and google is still my downfall). Lol at big school! It does feel like that though doesn't it, just posted my first thread there. Miss this thread though. Was very happy when Spookykitty popped in!

Am still hopeful for you as you have such long cycles. Are you still having cramps. Any other symptoms? but about limp racehorse!

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 21:32

Har - have you joined the Due in June thread yet? Antenatal threads are great, there will be a mix of first timers and second third etc timers so if you have a question chances are so will someone else and one of the oldies will probably answer it for you.

abbevillemum - I know it's really difficult as you want a baby so bad (I feel the same) but it will happen might just take a little longer, doesn't stop you feeling when AF turns up though

DG - wow those long cycles must be so frustrating have you always had long cycles?

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 22:03

Just been searching old messages found my announcement for the BFP with the one I lost

but found my thread on the live test I did with DD2 (It's called waiting for the Clearblue digital display to clear so I can retest, I messed the first one up, second one was BFP

also found my first ever post on MN 12th Jan 2004 just after I had my first scan with DD1 (at 9 weeks suspected mc) I was saying I had seen my baby wriggling on the screen, that little thing is now a 3 year old madam!

I feel all fuzzy and tearful now.

Har · 15/10/2007 22:18

Oh wow, SK, going through those memories must have been so strange. The sadness mixed in with the amazing joy.

Can't seem to find the due in June thread. Is it called that?
