@AnxiousAnnie86 yeah love, I take it everyday & don't have a break x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/08/2020 10:22

@Chlo2701 thank you I will deffo try that next month! Do you have any side effects, I think the sky makes me feel a little sick x

Chlo2701 · 10/08/2020 10:48

@AnxiousAnnie86 no absolutely no side effects at all. It was Luisa Zissman that recommends those ones & the DHA Omega 3 tablets. I'll be going into my 3rd month of taking them soon & they say to give them 3 months. The only thing I can think that's changed so far is that they've brought my ovulation forward by a couple of days maybe🤷‍♀️ & because of this funny cycle this month it's made me curious & I want to know if I am ovulating abit earlier, so last night I did end up ordering a box of the Clearblue ovulation sticks. I said I wasn't going to track but I only ordered one box just for this cycle as I want to see check if I am ovulating earlier x

Blossom428 · 10/08/2020 11:46

Aw that's nice to have things to look forward to @Chlo2701 ... I think it is important to keep ourselves a busy and not just focus on wishing weeks away being ovulation or 2WW.
No harm in the ovulation sticks, especially if things are a bit up in the air with your cycle you can get to grips with what's happening again and then take it from there.
Are you coq10 200mg? I've just started taking 2 a day, see how I get on then can always up it next cycle.

I've been lacking on the ewcm front @AnxiousAnnie86 so I've been taking EPO to help with it, so I'm not sure about that. But like @Chlo2701 says it can be a build up to it. Be amazing if you get an early ovulation!!

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/08/2020 12:17

@Chlo2701 I've been taking omega three for a few months now, I've just bought some clear blue connected ones!! I think I might start testing on Wednesday which is only 10DPO but I don't want to miss it! When do you think ovulation will be for you this month? X

Chlo2701 · 10/08/2020 15:34

@Blossom428 no they're 300mg per tablet. I took 2 a day the first month then I read if you're taking it for your eggs, then the right dose is 900mg a day. I also lack in the CM front & took EPO one month, didn't notice any difference, but I'm sure it delayed my ovulation by a couple days so I stopped it. I've been drinking grapefruit juice for months now, just a glass a day as that's supposed to help CM but I've not noticed any difference😣
@AnxiousAnnie86 I would usually ovulate around CD16 so Sunday 23rd this month, but think it may happen Friday 21st if earlier again (CD14). So I'm going to start the CB sticks from CD12 & see what happens. I'm also going to keep an eye on my RHR on my Apple Watch & see if I notice a pattern. I hope it doesn't happen on the Friday though as that won't work for me that month as away🥴 so fingers crossed it's the Sunday🤞🏻 but what will be will be. So what date in August do you think roughly you might ovulate? X

Blossom428 · 10/08/2020 16:03

Ohh are they. That's annoying, I'll have to buy the tablet your bought next month then. As I'll end upgoing through so many haha.
Yeah my B complex pushed my ov back this month- unless it was the EPO. I've not tried any of the conception lubes though, have you? we never really use lubes anyways prior to TTC so I didn't know if they are just for that really or if they would actually help. I did read though that sometimes you can have ewcm but it jsut doesn't come right down as such and you won't notice it. So hopefully that's the case with us.

I've just bought the 'it starts with the egg' on iBooks. Even though I'm meant to be relaxing and taking my mind off TTC haha ooops. But it talks in there a lot about the coq10. I'll let you guys know if there are any other good hints and tips Smile

I think I may ovulate around the 17th this month.

Chlo2701 · 10/08/2020 17:29

@Blossom428 sounds like we will probably be ovulating within days of each other so we can do the TWW together🤪 I'm sure we were in the TWW together the other month! I've never tried the fertility lubes, I've heard mixed things about them, some people swear by them but I've also heard that some of them can kill sperm, so I just found it confusing & never bothered🙈 yeah fingers crossed our CM is just right up in there😆🙉x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/08/2020 17:29

@Blossom428 what day do you normally start testing, clear blue says test from day ten if you ovulate day 14, I cannot see my ovulating before then so I may just start on day ten, weird I hade ewcm though, never had that before day 15 x

Blossom428 · 10/08/2020 17:39

Oooo that's good! Yeah I thought the same about the lubes. @Chlo2701

The book says about 2 forms of coq10- one that's more easily absorbed. But it's bloody expensive. Can't be paying that each cycle. I'll see how I get on with this one. But I know it does say the other is better. Although the one you've bought is quite expensive too @Chlo2701 good thing it does say is that it causes no harm, so can take a lot of it with no effect apart from goodness.

We all seem around the same this month .. last one was a complete mishmash haha.

@AnxiousAnnie86 well last cycle was CD16, and the one before that was CD13, so I may just start on 11 so I don't miss it, but also not waste too many sticks. I've got a few left over from my last cycle at least.
Does the digital one work the same where you have to replace the sticks each time?

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

@Chlo2701 I have been TTC for around 5 months but have severe endo so it was a big surprise for me to get my first BFP this month. Although I kind of had a feeling right from the start that it wasn't going to stick, no idea why. Fingers crossed the next time will be better luck! @Blossom428 I used concieve plus last cycle and it appeared to work as I did get pregnant - I had used it previous cycles but only out of necessity as I had also read about possible impact on sperm but this cycle I just felt I had nothing to loose so I used a large amount of it each time we DTD. No idea if it could possibly be linked to the chemical though!

I am on cycle day 4 now so just waiting a few days before starting the ovulation sticks as I usually peak around day 8 - day 10. Hope you are all keeping well Smile

Chlo2701 · 10/08/2020 19:04

@Blossom428 yes I've read that the best form to take is Ubiquinol as it's a liquid & is stronger because with the tablets our body has to turn it into Ubiquinol if that makes sense, but it is supposed to be really expensive, so I gathered that the Coq10 tablets were the next best thing. Hard at us we sound like fertility experts🤣🤣🤣 to be fair though it just shows that we've done our research, & in my eyes knowledge is key. To be honest it sounds like most of us here are doing all we can, so it really is just in the hands of fate now, & it'll happen for us when the time is right🤞🏻 keep us updated on the book hun, as I've heard it's really good & informative👍🏻 women do say that it lists lots of vitamins & tablets to take which can seem very overwhelming & bloody costly!🥴
@AnxiousAnnie86 I never started testing when the CB says too as I always thought it was too early so I would do it a few days after it told me too, so I don't blame you for doing it after.
@Blossom428 what do you mean by does the digital work the same? I'm confused, doesn't take much mind😆 I've only ever used the digi one, & I use the same stick holder but just use a new stick everyday, think I've got a couple of the holders that I've never used as just stuck with the same one as it stores your data if that makes sense.
@Mamainmaking1 reading your post is now making me want to use a fertility lube🙈 it's so confusing & conflicting🙉 I do have a fertility gel that my cousin gave me but I've just never used it. Sorry to hear about your chemical, they're so shit! I know I've definitely had one, but I never would of known it was only because I tested early🤦‍♀️ I take it this will be your first that you're TTC then? She undo like we will all be getting out the ovulation sticks in the next wk or so! Let's all keep each other posted on our cycles. Sounds like @Mamainmaking1 @Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 & myself will all be ovulating in a wk or2 so we'll all be fairly close in our cycles x

Mamainmaking1 · 10/08/2020 19:32

@Chlo2701 it might be worth a try. I have no choice but to use a lubricant and I had read how damaging normal ones are so that is when I bought the concieve plus. Then but I watched a video on pressed and it was saying that it killed sperm so I literally used as little as possible and only used it externally for first few months and I had been DTD like 5 or 6 days in a row. Last month I nearly missed my peak and only dtd three days and two of them were really fast so I had no choice but to use lots of conceive plus. I think I will definatly use lots again this cycle and the fact I concieved last month atleast proved that it doesn't kill all the sperm lol.

Yes this will be TTC number 1, what number are you on? Great that we will all testing in around the same time. Chemicals are so crappy but I am just holding onto the positive that it shows that we can get pregnant and hopefully it is a boost to fertility also for a few months after one.

Chlo2701 · 10/08/2020 20:10

God I really should read back what I write before I post it🙈 some of mine didn't make sense in the last comment!
@Mamainmaking1 I'm 35 & partner is 45, so I really feel like my biological clock is ticking ⏰ but I just want one more😣 been trying for just over a year now. I have a 14yr old & 10yr old. Fell in the 1st month of coming off the pill with my 14yr old but took me 2yrs to conceive my now 10yr old. So in my mind I'm thinking it may still take me another year😣 how old are you if you don't mind me asking? My children are from a previous relationship so if I do manage to get pregnant this will be out 1st together as my OH also has 2 from his previous x

Blossom428 · 10/08/2020 20:18

Urgh a wrote a message and then it deleted...

@Mamainmaking1 thank you for your insight into lube 😊 always good to get people that have tried different things. I'll see how it goes this cycle and then look at getting some.
I like how positive you are being rn!

@Chlo2701 haha yes, it's crazy how much I have learnt over the past couple of months!! But like you say it really is down to fate and what our bodies want to do. We can only keep our fingers crossed this is a lucky cycle for us all!!

Sorry, I'm confusing everyone with the digital speak. I meant the connection ovulation that @AnxiousAnnie86 is using with blue tooth. If it just works exactly the same.

Me and my partner are both 30 in April, and this for our first. Never been pregnant so when it does happen it will all be very new and surreal for me, but I can't wait!!

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/08/2020 09:23

@Blossom428 yeah it's the same as the normal clear blue advanced, but it just connects to your phone and stores results month on month....

I'm going to start testing tomorrow at CD 11 it says not to till 15 as I didn't ovulate until cd22 but I don't want to miss it.....

I am still 10 days away from ovulation if I ovulate at the same time as last few months! That's the 22nd August! What's everyone else's ovulation date this month? (In theory)

Mamainmaking1 · 12/08/2020 12:42

@Chlo2701 I'm 28 Smile really hope you and your other half get your baby together soon!!!

@AnxiousAnnie86 I have started testing already I'm only on day 6 but I can get a peak as early as day 8 or 9, last month it was day 12 and I think that was part of the reason I concieved so fingers crossed it is a later ovulation for me again this month! I also haven't a clue how his cycle will go as it was a chemical I have just had not a period so who knows when I will ovulate this month - will keep you all posted!!

What length of cycles does everyone have?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/08/2020 12:49

@Mamainmaking1 my cycles depend when i ohh late! I always have a 14 day LP so ovulation over last six cycles has been anywhere between day 17 and day 36! I was on contraception for 10 years though until July then we conceived in sept, Mc in November so o think that's why my cycles are a bit out of whack, last three have been between 34-36

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/08/2020 12:49

Ovulate*

Mamainmaking1 · 12/08/2020 13:01

Aw really sorry to hear about your miscarriage @AnxiousAnnie86 how have you been doing? It is so hard but really glad to see that you are back TTC again! I have no idea what this cycle will look like for me, I am doing the ovulation tests every day but I am hoping that it does lengthen my cycle a bit as I only have 22 day cycles, usually get peak around day 8-9 and ovulate between day 9-10 (last month was an exception on day 12). I worry my lining isn't thick enough to allow implantation. Your cycles have got longer since MC then? Have you been offered any help from fertility services etc? I am hoping to be added to that list in about 4 months if I am still TTC.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/08/2020 13:28

@Mamainmaking1 my husband and I have agreed that in January if we are still ttc we will seek help, that will of been a year since my periods returned after Mc.... they have been a bit all over and although it's been 8 months it's only been 5/6 cycles, so hopefully they are starting to regulate and we will have some luck soon! The mc broke my heart but I expected it as I had only just come off the coil after five years on it....

22 does seem very short, but could that just be body adjusting? X

Chlo2701 · 12/08/2020 14:30

@Blossom428 how are you getting on with the book?
@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm only on CD5 today & normally ovulate around CD16, so technically I'm due Sun 23rd this month, so fingers crossed we'll be in the TWW together🤞🏻 I'm waiting on my CB ovulation sticks to be delivered as I think last month I may of ovulated couple days earlier, hence why I only had a 23 day cycle this month😣 so I'm going to track it this month.
@Mamainmaking1 so ovulation is getting close for you! Exciting!! Hope you've got your horny head on🤣
My cycles are usually every 28 days.
If you're worried about your lining they recommend raspberry tea & pomegranate juice, as it's supposed to help. So that's what I drink x

Chlo2701 · 12/08/2020 14:31

Are any of you ladies tracking your resting heart rate on fit bit or Apple Watch?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/08/2020 14:35

@Chlo2701 yes I do on ava x

Chlo2701 · 12/08/2020 14:56

Ahh good @AnxiousAnnie86 at least I've got someone to talk to about it then, as I only started wearing my Apple Watch again on 28th July, so tracking is all new to me. Now I've finished AF just, it's gone up today, so am I right I'm thinking that it should start rising now? & when I ovulate will I get a spike & then a dip do you know? X
