Hi guys....
Thought I'd set up this new thread for us.
Tag anyone else from the group I've not got.

@AnxiousAnnie86

Ohhh yeah I've seen this one @AnxiousAnnie86 you'll have to let me know how it is.

Have you taken coq10 before? I have just ordered some too see if it makes any difference. I'm going through the trying everything stage haha 🙈🙈
Felt a bit deflated today, no motivation what so ever. Barley worked (advantage of getting away with it working from home). Hopefully I'll feel more motivated tomorrow as I will be out and about.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 05/08/2020 06:32

@Blossom428 I've heard a lot of people talk about it, but no idea what it is? X

Blossom428 · 05/08/2020 08:52

Ahhh sorry thought it was you for some reason. @AnxiousAnnie86 . I've just read about it being to help promote good quality eggs. ubiquinol is the same but apparently most absorbent form but it's bloody expensive. So iv just ordered the coq10, just got give it a try.

Only thing I do worry about taking like a whole load of random tablets and if it's actually doing anything. I think I need to not be so obsessed with things and take a step back. I'm going to do this cycle as it is and try get the blood test.. then next I will try to relax .... hopefully haha.

Are you still using the Ava bracelet this cycle?

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 05/08/2020 08:59

@Blossom428 I'm taking soy iso so not sure if can take both together! But I'm gonna give soy a rest next month so maybe I will try it!!! Yeah will keep using ava as it needs to detect three months! It's moved my predicted ovulation to CD24 this month!!! X

Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 09:18

@Blossom428 it's me that's taking the Coq10. It's supposed to help with egg quality especially in older women. I've been taking it for 2 months now. The first month I took 600mg a day, so 2 tablets, 1 in the morning & 1 in the evening, but this month I've taken 3 a day so 900mg x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 05/08/2020 10:09

@Chlo2701 do you take it just until ovulation or throughout the whole month, I'm just doing one more month of soy, then may stop everything and just keep on with accupuncture x

Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 10:43

@AnxiousAnnie86 I take it everyday hun with no break x

Blossom428 · 05/08/2020 10:49

Ahhhh yes @Chlo2701 thanks, I knew it was someone on this thread haha.
Worth just trying to see if I can get my eggs better then it may hopefully push through the short LP as some say if it's a strong egg it will be a lot better with short LP 🤞🏽

Yeah I think that's a good plan sometimes @AnxiousAnnie86 , I think it then takes pressure off worrying about what you are doing and taking.
AF is making me v crampy this time... hasn't been this bad for a while.

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 05/08/2020 10:50

Also... hopefully the soy will bring your ovulation forward again @AnxiousAnnie86

OP posts:
Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 11:29

@Blossom428 yes good point! I never even thought of that. A stronger egg would be better for a shorter LP, that makes sense. My LP is 10/11 days at the most so now you've said that it gives me more hope😁 praying I don't get my period next wk😣x

Gemster19 · 05/08/2020 13:41

Oh I've been thinking about the Coq10 but it's so expensive when you add it on top of vitamins and folic acid and soy and OPKs let alone pregnancy tests and all the other things I could be buying but don't and so beat myself up about 🙈. Don't get me wrong I would literally spend my last penny if it would get me pregnant, but I'd rather have that money to spend on the actual baby, and I'm worried if I try everything all at once I'll never be able to stop as I'll be too worried the thing I stop will be the thing that would have worked 😂. Have you noticed any effect @Chlo2701 ?

I'm on board with the health kick this cycle ladies - over the months we couldn't try I lost about 10lbs as I kept reading that one of the first things the Dr will recommend is losing 5% of your bodyweight (even if you're not overweight, as long as that 5% doesn't make you underweight) but to be honest my diet is less healthy now than it was before I lost the weight! What does everyone do about exercise? I tend to lift quite heavy weights and do yoga, and I'm really not comfortable doing either in the 2WW since my MC.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 05/08/2020 14:14

@Gemster19 during lockdown I have massively got into rebound! It's a mini trampoline and I do that everyday and walk loads!! X

Blossom428 · 05/08/2020 14:52

Yeahh that's very true @Gemster19 - and sometimes I do wonder about just letting my body do its own thing. But no harm in trying. These coq10 I bought were about £17. But like you say all these things add up massively!!
Wont be telling my partner I keep buying things, as he keeps telling me I need to save haha.

I used to go to the gym before lockdown and do mainly weights (as I am quite slim so I wanted to build muscle and tone). But since lockdown- if been just doing walks, occasionally a bike ride. Really not excessive. Could do with kicking my ass into gear. I walked yesterday and going to walk again today! I need to force myself too.
I feel I eat healthy anyways so that's never been an issue.

When are you due on @Chlo2701 ?

OP posts:
Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 14:58

@Gemster19 I haven't noticed any negative effects with the Coq10, it doesn't interfere with my cycles either I don't think. I stopped tracking ovulation with the CB ovulation kit. But I'm pretty sure I'm still ovulating around the same time as I normally would.
I know what you mean about not overdoing it with the exercise in the TWW. I'm currently in that now & it's in the back of my mind. I've just started getting back into my exercise these last 2 wks, just done cardio, but tomorrow I'm going to start on the weights again, as lifting is my favourite 😍 when I was training hard last year I actually got abs! But lockdowns made me lose them 😂 I've said to myself that if I can't get pregnant I'm just going to concentrate on getting my body in tip top condition again!
I've started wearing my fit bit again & have been reading posts on here that your RHR can give you an indication if your pregnant, it kind of works the same as your BBT.
But I'm wondering that it won't be accurate & reliable for me, as the days I do exercise my RHR is higher than the days I don't. But we'll see, time will tell🤷‍♀️
Where are you in your cycle atm?
I think I'm roughly about 4DPO. AF due next Thursday 🥴

Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 15:04

@Blossom428 sorry saw your post after I'd posted mine! Sounds like we're all gym bunnies then🐰🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ I'm 5'7 & currently 9st 6. But when I was hitting the gym hard I went down to 8st 6! I felt amazing & was nice & lean, but my mum & friends were telling me I went to thin🙄 I wasn't too thin, I told them that if they saw me naked then they'd realise I was toned & was starting to build muscle but I had to strip the fat first! They're comments would piss me off as they weren't into their fitness so they didn't get it or understand 🤦‍♀️

AnxiousAnnie86 · 05/08/2020 15:23

@Chlo2701 on my ava bracelet it tracks resting heart rate and breathing rate as well as temp, and they both definitely go up during the TWW! I've attached my chart, it's a little hard to read unless you get used to ava but you can see an increase in both and then this month, I've attached so far it's only two days but you can see the massive drop when af started x

I didn't ovulate in the green on the ava chart as it's not got used to my cycles, I ovulated when you can see a spike in the rhr and breathing, I've put little lines

Chlo2701 · 05/08/2020 18:43

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh yeah I can see what you mean. I can see when you ovulated, my chart I had a spike on Friday so ovulated then, I also had pains in my left ovary that afternoon so I'm convinced it was then. We had sex fri night but that was probably too late by then🙉 we hadn't DTD since Monday 🙈 oh well🥴
I've read really good things about those Ava bracelets x

Blossom428 · 06/08/2020 07:56

@Chlo2701 that's okay... yeah that is annoying people commenting. You know your body and how you feel.
I've always been a very small build anyways so I'm about 8.5stone- I'm one of those lucky people that can eat anything and not gain weight haha. But only thing is that I'm very straight up and down, so I have to do weights to build shape. I got my bum so good just before Christmas and then it's all disappeared again now. My motivation has just gone, i ended up cancelling my gym membership 🙈 regret that now. Going to try do some home stuff I've got a few weights and things.

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 06/08/2020 08:48

@Blossom428 I could do that until I hit 30 just be warned!!!! since 30 it's a constant battle to keep weight off! Feel so bored at this stage in cycle! I'm only Cd4 my period seems to of stopped today, how long do yours last, this is my new fear, I worry three days is too short, I tend to have one day light one day heavy one day light again, then maybe a day of spotting, I can't really remember what periods are like after 9 years of not having them!!! X

Blossom428 · 06/08/2020 09:25

Haha I know I have kept saying that to myself... I keep on top of eating healthy so isn't too bad. I just don't count calories or anything like that

@AnxiousAnnie86 my periods have gone a lot lighter since coming off the pill. Can't remember what they were like before the pill as that was when I was like 15. I remember when I was on the combined pill I had such heavy ones. Then I went onto the progesterone only pill(which maybe why my LP is so short of my body is used to having more progesterone) so had no periods there.
Mine have been a lot less now, one day of spotting, then it will be light/ medium for 2 days and back to spotting pretty much.

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 06/08/2020 10:47

@Blossom428 okay thanks that makes me feel better! I was worried maybe that's why I wasn't conceiving x

Gemster19 · 06/08/2020 18:02

I'm toying with rejoining the gym now - thinking maybe I could lift and yoga pre-ov and then swim in the 2WW, apparently swimming is one of the only exercises you can actually safely start in the first trimester so that should be fine.

My periods have been so much lighter since my MC @AnxiousAnnie86 - I bleed for about 24hrs max, I actually got excited this cycle as it was the first time I'd needed to use more than 2 tampons for an entire period! I saw the Dr 3 months post MC because of the light periods and they said it's nothing to worry about - apparently how much blood you lose is actually nothing to do with whether or not your uterine lining is thick enough for implantation 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Argh I'm getting so frustrated this cycle - i usually ovulate on CD13 and it's CD14 today but my OPKs keep alternating between high one day and then back to low the next. I haven't ovulated yet as temp hasn't changed but I was really hoping to catch that elusive O -1 this month. Typical when I've been off work and we've been able to DTD loads!

Chlo2701 · 07/08/2020 11:07

@Gemster19 any luck on the ovulation front today?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 07/08/2020 12:37

@Gemster19 oh really!! That's interesting, I thought it depended on how much you bleed, I think i was deffo a little heavier this month had three days of bleeding and two of just spotting very very light....

That is frustrating but if you are normally regular then it'll surely be soon!!! Have you done anything diff this month? All the DTD leading up to it will only help!!! X

Gemster19 · 07/08/2020 15:24

I did too @AnxiousAnnie86 but they sent me for a scan to make sure my body didn't think I was still pregnant and they measured my lining and said it was perfectly healthy 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Got a 46% reading today @Chlo2701 so looks like I'm having a slow burn this month - usually go from 20% ish straight to peak, maybe the change is a good sign! Hopefully I'll get a peak tomorrow as I def can't keep this up much longer 😂.
