I’m now cd41. I retested yesterday with a first response and still negative. Tbh I’m really worrying. I don’t know whether to call gp or if they will think I’m losing the plot. But it seems so strange

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 09:57

@WaitingForEgg do you normally have regular cycles? I've had cycles that have lasted 60 days in the past! Absolutely awful! X

Blossom428 · 15/09/2020 10:01

That sounds very interresting @AnxiousAnnie86 leaast you've got something to focus on and the fact that it will help to relax you, even better!!
Sometimes my period is very short too, so I don't think there is anything to worry about there.
I'm 7dpo today. Feeling nothing. Hoping my LP is at least 10days again or even add an extra one on which would be good! Even though I know I'm probs out ive still been taking the b6, just to try push the LP back a bit further.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 10:06

@Blossom428 yeah that would be good for you! We might end up with ovulation around same time next month!! I'm about 20 days off ovulation, unless it comes early, which I doubt x

Blossom428 · 15/09/2020 10:12

Oooh yeah, I think I my ovulation will be happening around the first weekend of Oct 2nd/3rd! @AnxiousAnnie86
OH has planned something for us to do together on Sunday so I'm looking forward to that! Always takes an argument for him to then do soemthing, typical haha. Hope you are keeping yourself busy!! Love that it's sunny again, this helps my mood a lot!

@AnxiousAnnie86 don't worry about the short period - 3 days is still "normal", even light.
Mine was 6 days as usual but normally I get 3 days of massacre, whereas this time I only got 1.
Temp so far is up and down like the Himalayas, which is unusual - perhaps I've been overheating at night or something. It even went up to 36.28 one day which is WAYYYY high for me pre-ovulation (I'm normally below 36!)
New strategy this month - pretend I don't care! We've only had sex twice since my period, I've actually managed to forget about it all some days, genuinely. I didn't know that was even possible.

Hope you ladies are all enjoying the lovely weather!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 10:38

@TheOrangeMonster my temps did that last month!!!! They were so high pre OV!

My husbands come up with our plan of attack this month 😂😂 he thinks we've been doing too much quantity over quality ! He thinks we should be saving it up till I get my peak 🤣🤣🤣 see how long he lasts on that one! X

Chlo2701 · 15/09/2020 11:01

Hi ladies, sorry I'm not tagging individually but there's too much to reply to. Thankyou for all thinking of me. I've had my appointment, she scanned me & everything has come away like it should of, so nothing else needs to be done thank god. She said I had a cyst on ovaries but only small so nothing to worry about. Bleeding has nearly finished so now I just have to wait for my period. Back to trying to get pregnant again when everything settles down. Hopefully it'll be quicker than 15months this time 🤞🏻xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 11:06

@Chlo2701 I'm glad it's nearly over for you! Think cysts are very common! Will you leave it a month or start straight over x

WaitingForEgg · 15/09/2020 11:28

@AnxiousAnnie86 usually 31-35 days. I’m thinking I must have not ovulated and I may be skipping a month. This hasn’t happened before that I know of, but I guess it could have without my realising

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 11:39

@WaitingForEgg I have heard of anovulatory cycles and apparently most women do get them at some point, maybe you could start testing for ovulation daily now? X

TheOrangeMonster · 15/09/2020 12:06

@WaitingForEgg that's totally happened to me before - I skipped one earlier this year and had a cycle double the length of my standard sort of ones! 🤦🏽‍♀️

@AnxiousAnnie86 in this house we have our roles reversed, husband is the one who says "I have a headache". 😂

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 12:10

@TheOrangeMonster I think maybe he's right and will try saving up for peak days!!! Hard to know when it's gonna be with irregular cycles and it seems to come out of the blue! I'm away first weekend in October so you can guarantee it will blooming be then!!!

TheOrangeMonster · 15/09/2020 12:57

@AnxiousAnnie86 could be.
We've always assumed that neither of us would be innocent on the problems front. I'm wondering if not going quite as mad as usual might help with the sperm count, whilst at the same time doing it enough to keep them ticking over.
I read somewhere not too long ago that egg meets sperm a lot more often than we think it does, but that the sticking point is implantation, which is something the scientists don't fully understand yet. Apparently there's little receptor things that have to wake up at exactly the right time and they spend a lot of time sitting on their arses missing the bus.
I was bemoaning the design flaws of human reproduction to a sciency friend the other day and he said it's because when we got up on two legs all our internal organs changed so massively it made it all a lot less effective. Maybe I need to start cleaning the floors more often.... 🤣

Chlo2701 · 15/09/2020 13:13

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'll more than likely just have sex as & when this month, & not put pressure on. Reckon I'm in for the long haul again xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 14:17

@TheOrangeMonster I think it has to be to do with implantation for me, we have most definitely covered our bases every single month! I don't think I take care of myself in TWW enough, this is what my reflexologist was saying, basically if your body thinks it's under stress or danger it will not accept a pregnancy..... I was super super sick last month on days 7-10 so I'm sure my body wouldn't of taken pregnancy I couldn't stop throwing up x

Blossom428 · 15/09/2020 15:37

Hahaha @AnxiousAnnie86 get on the floor cleaning- that made me laugh!!

Yeah this is True re not ovulating. My friend didn't have a period for 10months nearly, then sure must have ovulated and got pregnant straight away. So I would still track OPKs as you may have just missed.

I also have heard that doing it every day isn't great but doing it every other day is just as good. But also to dtd on occasions after your period has stopped as some sperm just goes lazy so you need to have a few goes Before actual peak to get the best ones haha.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 15:43

@Blossom428 it's all too much! You'd think I'd of hit it right in the last year! Just by pure chance!!!!

TheOrangeMonster · 15/09/2020 15:43

@Blossom428 lazy sperm 😂😂 now all I can think of is little fat sperm guys in swimming trunks lying about on sun loungers.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/09/2020 16:51

@Blossom428 how you doing lovely? Anything yet?

@Trying4one welcome to the group, everyone here is so so lovely and supportive! Xx

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 16:57

Thank you for the add @AnxiousAnnie86 😊 much appreciated

WaitingForEgg · 16/09/2020 19:49

I think I’ve completely missed a period... GP not interested unless I miss 3 (which tbh i expected would be the case)

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/09/2020 20:04

@WaitingForEgg maybe you should just start testing for ovulation now? Or even temping? To try and give you an idea of where you are at, x

WaitingForEgg · 16/09/2020 20:23

@AnxiousAnnie86 I started an ov strip today, basically non existent line currently ...

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/09/2020 20:25

@WaitingForEgg yeah mine always are! Right up until a day before! Xxx
