Hi Annie (sorry I can't tag you!), they're normally every 32-34 days. Think I ovulated around August 4th but after all the negative tests, I know I'm not pregnant. Have got a phone appointment with the doctor next week as there's no sign of period, despite the spotting. Bloody confusing it is x

WaitingForEgg · 12/09/2020 21:12

@bwfcchick88 I’m in a similar boat, testing negative but late. I don’t think I’ve ever missed a period except when pregnant. Really confused

It's so annoying isn't it, especially when you are hoping. How late are you? Xxx

WaitingForEgg · 12/09/2020 21:59

@bwfcchick88 usually cycle is 31-35 days (think I once had a 36 day one) I’m now day 38 with no sign of it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Gemster19 · 13/09/2020 14:05

@WaitingForEgg oh I think they're fairly sensitive aren't they? Are you still in 🤞🏼?

The tricks our bodies play on us when we're ttc 😤 @bwfcchick88 ! How long have you been trying?

How are you doing @Chlo2701 ?

How's the 2WW going @Blossom428 ?

Hope you made the most of your girly lunch @AnxiousAnnie86

Mamainmaking1 · 13/09/2020 15:12

Ah sorry to hear @Chlo2701, the worst is defiantly over physically after a day and then it feels more like a period. Look after yourself!!

I am 1dpo today, first time I ever ovulated on day 14 (usually day 12) and got my highest ever OPK peak so I am putting it down to the procieve supplement I have started. Fingers crossed for lots of positives for us all this month. How is everyone else getting on?

WaitingForEgg · 13/09/2020 17:03

I’m pretty sure clearblue are usually sensitive. Now cd39 still nothing. Had a bit of a meltdown to DH earlier. I’ve never been so late/skipped so I’m really stressing something is wrong

bwfcchick88 · 13/09/2020 20:21

@WaitingForEgg @Gemster19 We've been half-heartedly trying for a few years, I've been in a number of stressful jobs with stupid commutes, so I quit my job back in February and started ttc properly then. Not long in the scheme of things, but annoying when our bodies mess about. I have a feeling AF might actually show up tonight - I actually hope she does then I can write this one off as a mad one and try again! Will see what the doctor says on Thursday. It takes up so much brain space, doesn't it?!

Gemster19 · 14/09/2020 05:49

@bwfcchick88 totally - I can't remember what I used to worry about before ttc 😂! Will this be your first your ttc? Good luck with the dr, I feel like I'm really struggling to get mine to take me seriously at the moment.

@WaitingForEgg yep that clear blue is only slight less sensitive than an FRER. Try not to stress, it's so frustrating but I'm sure it's not that anything's wrong. Sorry I can't remember if you know for certain that you ovulated this month (even if you don't necessarily know when)?

That's great news @Mamainmaking1 - I'm actually quite liking the Proceive so far!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 14/09/2020 06:54

Hey ladies, sorry feel like I struggle when Af is here :( feel like I'm a millions miles away from ovulation too, predicted in another 21 days! Three weeks ughhhhhh

So I started reflexology last week, doing it weekly, and it's absolutely amazing!!!! They can tell you so so much from the first session and then put a plan in place. I cannot recommend it enough xx

bwfcchick88 · 14/09/2020 08:00

Morning Gemster (sorry it won't let me tag you), yes it's our first year trying! I'm just so relieved the work stress has gone but not ideal to be replaced with TTC stress! Annie, thanks so much for the tip, I'll look into it 😀

Chlo2701 · 14/09/2020 10:34

@Gemster19 I'm bearing up Ok just feel absolutely gutted. Was supposed to go back to hospital tomorrow morning for more bloods & another scan. But I'm going to ring them in abit & just let them know what's happened & see if I've still got to go in tomorrow, I'm thinking they'll probably want me to go in just to take bloods to make sure my HCG has dropped. I'm worried that my cycles are going to be all over the place after this, but I'll just have to see x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 14/09/2020 11:43

@Chlo2701 you'll probably find once your hcg levels drop back down your cycles will return to normal quite quickly! You can ovulate two weeks after a Mc, you'll probably have to start ovulation tests sooner just so you make sure you don't miss it,

After my MC they didn't need to see me again, they told me to take a test in a week, (this was when the bleeding start) and if it was negative then I didn't need to go back..... xxx

Chlo2701 · 14/09/2020 11:53

@AnxiousAnnie86 thanks hun. I don't know if I'll bother tracking ovulation this month. I just rang the hospital & I've still got to go in tomorrow x

Blossom428 · 14/09/2020 12:26

Totally understandable @AnxiousAnnie86 ! But I'm glad you've found something positive to focus on.... is it specific reflexology for TTC or just a general thing that you do?

I've had a very stressful week and me and the Oh have had an argument so isn't ideal. But now I hope because we have aired everything (or mainly I have, because he struggles with communication- anyone else get this?) and now hopefully we can move on. I'm currently 6dpo, but realy not expecting anything as we were 3/4 out of ovulation dtd. So just waiting for AF to arrive and we can begin a new cycle.

I guess it's good to be checked out by the hospital still @Chlo2701 to make sure all is okay. Such a cruel thing that people have to go through!! But like others have said you are meant to be most fertile after a Mc, so maybe don't put pressure on it and go with the flow this next cycle xx

Gemster19 · 14/09/2020 16:16

Totally know how you feel @AnxiousAnnie86 it takes me a good few days after AF arrives to paint the smile back on my face and pep myself up for the new cycle. Reflexology sounds great - what sort of things did they tell you (if you don't mind sharing!)? I'm def going to try either reflexology or acupuncture next month, just can't decide which.

Do you already have any children @bwfcchick88 ?

Of course @Chlo2701 totally understandable. Although my periods still aren't back to normal since my MC, my cycle was absolutely textbook the first month after (28 days, ovulated on day 14) so you may not have anything to worry about in that respect.

Sorry to hear you've had a row @Blossom428 but glad it's sorted. My DP is awful at communication and it drives me round the bend - I've been known to have a whole argument with myself because I know what he's thinking but he won't say it 😂. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you - you bear stories about people catching with less!

I had a bit of an odd day yesterday - FINALLY got my peak at about 8:30pm last night CD22 but my temp hadn't gone up this morning, so I tested again and it was back down to low? Wondering if I ovulated in the really early hours and so temp hadn't had time to increase yet - in which case, after all that waiting, I can already count myself out this cycle as hungover DP was already fast asleep when it peaked last night and had gone to work by the time I woke up this morning 😤😩😂.

bwfcchick88 · 14/09/2020 16:21

Hi Gemster, no I've no children. Have you? Annie, so sorry to hear about everything you've been going through and sorry to hear about your argument, Blossom, I totally know where you're coming from with the communication side!! I hope everyone has a lovely week xxx

Ems2111 · 14/09/2020 16:24

Hey ladies. I’m also ttc- since March. I’m too scared to take a test this month because I get really down about this whole thing especially as I’m yet to test positive on an ovulation strip... I was AF due on Saturday but still nothing which is bizarre because up until this month Iv been fairly regular at around 35/36 days.

WaitingForEgg · 14/09/2020 17:18

I’m still waiting for AF, CD40 now and pretty fed up. If nothing tomorrow I think I’ll call the GP...

Gemster19 · 15/09/2020 06:34

No this will (eventually!) be our first too @bwfcchick88 !

Hi @Ems2111 . Totally get the fear of testing - I haven't tested since cycle 2 as I find the BFNs much harder to deal with than AF just turning up. Do you have any idea when you might have ovulated from pain/CM/temperature?

Let us know you get on with the dr @WaitingForEgg

Blossom428 · 15/09/2020 07:55

Have you tested again @WaitingForEgg and still negative? Yeah see what the doctors says, very strange!

@Chlo2701 are you going to the hospital today still?

Very frustrating @Gemster19 .. did you DTD leading up to your peak? Hope you managed to get a quickie in last night! I feel like we are forever waiting for ovulation and then it comes and goes with in the blink of and eye. I'm going to be having words with OH this month and tell him straight haha. Tbf I think it works out when we are away at a house so it might fall quite wel!!

TheOrangeMonster · 15/09/2020 08:20

I've just logged back on here after a couple of weeks off and although I haven't read through everything, @Chlo2701 I'm just so, so sorry. There's nothing else I can say. I hope your hospital trip goes ok, sending lots of hugs.

How are we all doing in general?
I'm cd15 now so at least 10 days before anything useful happens.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 08:49

@Blossom428 how's it going how many dpo
now???

@chlo2701 how you feeling? Hopefully the worst has passed for you now and you can try to focus on going forward xxx

@Gemster19 I have gone specifically to help fertility.... she basically said to me that she can tell the stress levels are really high and she thinks that's what is blocking my fertility she was so so good she even knew my period had was ending and I had a headache! She said she couldn't feel anything wrong with ovaries uterus etc but could feel my lungs were an issue / that's related to my anxiety I struggle to get full breaths in sometimes!
I did accupuncture before reflexology but it wasn't relaxing at all, and I think that's what I need to focus on..... so this month I'm all about being calm... (yeah right)

@WaitingForEgg I'm sorry you are still none the wiser, I know how you feel, mine was a 40 day cycle this month and it was killer!!

@TheOrangeMonster hey lovely, hope you are feeling a little better! It got my hard this month too... I really thought this was it and then period came a day late.

My period has only lasted three days and been really light this month so that's worrying me a little!!!

Ems2111 · 15/09/2020 08:56

Hi @Gemster19 - I bit the bullet this morning and tested and AFN ah no haha! Well normally I get symptoms like CM but this last cycle I feel I have no symptoms at all except some aches and pains. I had a fertility blood test at the beginning of the cycle (around 3rd day on 11th aug) which came back normal... so I decided to monitor my ovulation at the time the calculator told me to and I didn’t manage to find my peak. So I’m not so sure when or if I did ovulate! The doctor is going to ring me today but tbh I’m not even sure what I can ask him/her ... if blood tests are ok then what’s the next steps? Good idea not testing and waiting and seeing - that’s probably better than what I’m doing and worrying myself silly! :) when did you start trying? This whole thing seems a lot easier in films and tv doesn’t it haha!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/09/2020 09:18

@Ems2111 sorry just catching up, have you been testing for ovulation for long or is this first month? What do you use to test xx
