@Mia1985x haha we thought we just weren't covering enough days previously and just doing it over one or two days. So this is has been tiring and definitely hard to find the "romance" in DTD each day but we have given a good shot.

I'm about 6 DPO today and am still getting increased CM and I've noticed some dark orange tiny spotting, only notice it on the tissue because I'm crazy and I'm looking (TMI sorry!)

Me and my OH were saying how amazing would it be if someone created a test that you could take 1 DPO that told you whether it was going to happen or not! Would save the wait!!

@Jadeb1995 so sorry my previous message I meant to put @butterfly5291 you must have been wondering what I was going on about Haha. My stupid fat fingers must have selected the wrong @ when they pop up. Sorry both!

I'm all confused!

So this is the first month using OPKs. Done my 4th today and it shows nothing!

Flo says ovulation should be today
Femometer says tomorrow
Ovia doesn't specify.

Am I panicking prematurely?! I'm CD 12

@beckyBP I went through the exact same thoughts as you this cycle as it was my first. I was convinced I don't ovulate but then on CD 18 I got my peak which was much later than I expected as my cycles are 29 days long!

Possibly the only person that would be happy about this but AF just arrived!!!!
Do I count this as day 1?

@butterfly5291 I think many of us can share the pleased for it to come if this month hasn’t been our month as it’s the start of the next try!! I tested today and was bfn but still a little early so won’t give up on all hope as only 8dpo buy know it’s unlikely as only first month of trying so equally won’t get hopes up

@butterfly5291 I was happy too! After my random spotting all last cycle I was very glad AF came as scheduled so nothing was messed up. Really glad it has appeared for you, I hope you feel a little relieved if anything that you've ovulated and had a bleed successfully! Only count today as CD1 if it's a full on flow. If it's light like spotting it's not counted yet

@Stabal I absolutely feel relieved. It's not super heavy but definitely red and a bit clotty. What do I log it as if not day 1?

@butterfly5291 if its red I would count it as CD1. If more brownish mark it as spotting so it continues on the same cycle

@Stabal yeah it's definitely red and I'm all achey in lower back and tummy. I'm just hoping that any future periods stay the same. They were hideously painful the couple of months I came off contraception 4 years ago because of the Endo. Although I have had endo tissue removed since then.

@beckyBP ovulation is usually later than CD12 for me and I have regular 28-30 day cycles. Everyone is different but definitely don't panic yet as it could still be another week till you get your peak. I would test AM and PM if you get the chance as well just to make sure you catch it.

@CAG14 & @Jadeb1995 thanks ladies!! I (naively) believed flo which tells me ovulation is today.. last month we didn't even DTD around what I'm now thinking will be ovulation 🙈

I reckon. So.. sorry to sound like an idiot.. you don't necessarily ovulate two weeks before AF?

@beckyBP Nope! Some people have shorter or longer luteal phases. I have longer ones but seem to be normal since my miscarriage. Shorter ones are considered a problem for TTC

My AF was super short this month, only 3 days and not even full on very strange.

Not sure what to think why this would happen usually it's 5 days plus spotting.

I got good news ultrasound scan appt for 18th which I am pleased as it's not too long wait so feels like I am doing something at least!

Well I'm regretting being so over joyed at AF turning up. I forgot how vile this was!
Been in absolute agony and it's so heavy! I feel disgusting. The stuff we have to go through as women! Meant to be going to Southport for a day out tomorrow with SS but really don't feel like it. Least I can have a few guilt free drinks tonight.
What's everyone else's weekend plans?

@butterfly5291 AF is still with me very lightly. Getting annoyed now. After all my spotting during July I'm fed up now a week on my period. Like you I plan to have some guilt free drinks this weekend. I'm working tomorrow but off Sunday so it's wine o'clock when it reaches 5 tomorrow! Enjoy your drinks!

@butterfly5291 I only had my coil out mid June and my first period was ridiculously heavy and for the first time, I leaked several times. I was just flad I was at home.
Just finished my second period and it was much better and nowhere near as heavy or achey. Hopefully it'll be the same for you and it's just a symptom of coming off the coil x

@Stabal hope the spotting stops soon and you have a good cycle this month. Bring on 5pm 🥂

@Nellyk84 I really hope I'm the same as you but whenever I have had periods they've been super heavy. I have endometriosis too, so think that makes it worse...was hoping to get a few normal cycles before the pain set in.

Think we’re all around the same stage. I’m at probably last day of af so also enjoying a few drinks this weekend. This is the worst time. That wait between af and fw where nothing happens haha. Been drinking pomegranate juice but I was thinking of trying grapefruit juice for fw 🤢 I never get much ewcm and heard it helps

Currently 10dpo... and feeling super emotional... I can get like that before af so not jumping at signs but this was ridiculous.. I was at the allotment and someone commented I hadn’t refilled the water butt quickly enough, normally I’d be the person that politely brushed it off, today burst in to tears!!
