Hi all, AF is due for me anytime now. My cycles vary in length by a few days so was expecting arrival from Saturday onwards. Today is CD28 and I haven't had a longer cycle than 28 days since coming off the pill so we will wait and see. Been really good so far and resisted the temptation to test but I am tempted to now, if it's a BFN there is a bottle of prosecco with my name on it haha
No real symptoms, only my 2nd month TTC and I'm sure last month I had every symptom going (think because I was taking way more notice than usual) Only things this month really are slightly veiny boobs (but who knows they might be like that every month!) and I've had a sharpish pain down in my pelvic area to the right hand side yesterday afternoon that didn't last very long 🤷‍♀️ oh and the last couple of mornings I've felt pretty groggy and a bit light headed!

Ooh @Buns05 good work holding off this long. Can't hurt to take a test now, most tests will be fairly accurate at this stage and prosecco is a good conselation prize! Let us know how you get on.

I started using opk sticks last cycle and checking temperature. Means I know my cycle a bit better. I start tEsting around cd 10

Ok covered all bases and DTD today as well now this has got to be my month!

Can anyone help please, I’ve had vivid dreams about being pregnant the last couple off night witch I did with my son.. so I’ve done a test and it’s came up a slight line but the line has now disappeared? Has this happened to anyone else? I’m an anxious person so the unknown is scary, do I tell myself I am or I’m not @

@Rach1995 I'd say that if the line has gone its probably negative, sometimes when the moisture soaks over the test it creates a shadow that can look like a line.

However, you might just be testing too early for the test to pick it up yet. Do you know how many days past ovulation you are?

I don’t keep track off those things if I’m completely honest and my periods are erratic so can’t go on them. I’ve got another test to try tomorrow and I’ll call the doctors for a blood test. Thank you for the advise

@Rach1995 No worries. Just so you know, a doctor probably won't give you a blood test unless your period is substantially late and you have pregnancy symptoms. I'd perhaps just wait a few days and try another test and go from there.

Does anyone know anything about having a higher bb temperature if you've conceived? My temp is normally around 36.0-36.5 range. But past 2 days (dpo7+8) it's been bang on 37.0 I thought maybe thermometer was dodge so keep taking my partners temp but his reads in the 36 range and I'm always 37... any experience or knowledge on this is much appreciated! Xx

I'm 8dpo and been getting pins and needles in my hands, arms and sometimes feet on and off all day. Never usually get this unless I've slept on an arm or something and even then it goes after a few minutes! Googling shows me nothing but 1 post on a forum saying they got that before their BFP. Anyone else had or heard of this?

@dano99 your bbt will go up after ovulation but I thought it was just that it stayed up if you’re pregnant or if not it drops back down around af (mine seems to drop down after af starts so not really helpful for me as a guide)

@mrschips07 you have covered all bases and so hoping it is your month indeed! I think the hyper-awareness of our bodies is definitely from ttc and I feel i notice every little thing now.

@Libbyvmama how are getting on? Hope things are OK.

@LT103 I am going to join you in tracking in the future, it feels right to have an idea about what is going on!

So my update is that I have succumbed fully to testing fever and have quite the collection now. I bring them out regularly and compare and analyse each line. Absolute madness. However, the lines are staying same/getting lighter and im still not getting positive on a regular 25 sensitivity test so I'm mentally preparing for the worst (kind of already there at acceptance mentally). We will see what happens with AF.

I have all my tests stocked up in the bathroom ready for next week 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have a couple of frer but I’ll stick to the cheap tests and use the free only if I see something. My plan was to test next Monday at 12 dpo but I know I’ll prob test on Saturday haha

@LT103 organised and ready! I have spent a fortune this month again, I need to get on the cheapies. Everyone is telling me not to early test and to stop testing but if i didn't id be thinking everything was perfect. Or, I wouldn't know about losses and I think thats important for discussing with Dr or whatever, should that happen.

Thanks ! I think I need to wait til at least next weekend really, but I'll probably test before who am I kidding.

@Bluesky2021 I think it's a tricky thing, personally I'd rather know what's going on than be oblivious, but I'd understand why people find it easier not to know by testing early. Sending positivity and good vibes your way, if you're getting lines that's good - they aren't quantitative so all kinds of things can affect the darkness of the line. Good luck.

Just wondering if anyone has ever gotten their BFP in a cycle where they had spotting?
I tend to get spotting in the week before ovulation and have mentioned to Gynae but they don’t seem concerned. However, I haven’t had a BFP yet and I’m worried this is what’s stopping me.

Any stories to share on this situation? Xx

AF is due on thursday for me, had a few niggly cramps on and off all weekend so im pretty certain that this cycle isnt the winner and its been 11 months of trying now so i deal with it alot better than i did when we first started thats for sure!

does anyone else find themselves getting lost in a youtube rabbit hole though?😂 one minute im watching videos of peoples early pregnancy symptoms and then next thing i know im watching what to pack in your hospital bag and newborn baby must haves😂

@Mrschips07 there’s something there but it is super early. Hope it progresses. I’ve still got sore boobs and sore nipples tho a bit less so. Usual progesterone signs of bloating and gas that I always get (tmi sorry) but no plan to test before Saturday I don’t think haha

@Bluesky2021 I’m not spending too much. I got a mixed box of ic opk and hcg tests and I have 2 frer that I’ll take only if I see something on the cheapies. Making sure I limit myself and don’t go crazy 😂😂

@dano99 its just so hard not to get caught up in it all isnt it!😂 i know its no good to us but i try to justify it by telling myself its me trying to be organised

@Bluesky2021 I’m with you right now. Ever since I got that positive at 7dpo/8dpo I’ve been testing negatives since. Not every day just every couple days. Af due Wednesday so i’m sure If I was I’d get a bfp by now. So preparing myself for disappointment. Feeling very down today, had a little cry. I normally get emotional so really do think af is gonna come. It’s crap because I feel like I’m letting my OH down every time. ☹️ Oh the joys.

Don't worry I know I'm being extremely mad at this point.

I'm going to try and hold off for a good 5 days now and then perhaps test again.
