Ok so my OPK looks high yet my CB digital says not ovulating (same sample) If i take it out the reader it looks high. Bizarre!

Ive just added the photo in app and it says its low so maybe its not as high as i thought it was but getting there i guess. Alot early than usual too!!

@Kaybobx hmmmm strange I really thought the CB would have said high but doesn't your CB need FMU or is that just my monitor?

It looks high to me. The app can sometimes read it wrong not sure if the app is like mine but I can manually edit mine by swiping on the image and saying moving the slider to say how dark the control line is and how dark the test line is. Maybe try that if you can?

@candycrush2298 yeah i do usually use fmu with them but i though as the other test was high it would still work. I'll try it again in the morning and do another opk tonight. This is crazy 4 days after AF! Why is my cycle all over the place?!
I can change the app photo, will see how the next test looks

@Kaybobx I know our bodies are absolutely crazy. Last month I peaked on CD9. So yeah totally anything is possible. I use to ovulate between cd12 and cd14 and this month is cd12 which is more normal i think I am still going to have a longer cycle because think the maca root has lengthened my luteal phase maybe its bringing your cycle forward????

I ovulated on CD13 last month and the month before was CD17! I didn't know it could change like that i thought it was usually the same time. Ive just looked at the test again now it's dried abit and its definitely high!

@Kaybobx yeah it is actually quite normal to fluctuate by a few days each month. CD13 - Cd17 doesn't sound abnormal but if you were to ovulate at like CD10 this month then it may look weird ranging from CD10-CD17 but maybe CD17 was an outlier and just a strange month? Or maybe your body had tried to ovulate earlier and then failed so you have a positive ovulated at CD17 who knows our bodies are really weird hahaha.

Awww you think? I was worried it would be like jinxing it LOL ordering baby clothes when we aren't even pregnant lol. probably silly but we haven't conceived yet so doubt buying a baby item would much of a difference hahahaha.

We haven't actually lol my husband and I used to always talk about it when we started TTC and we always said Emma or Emily for a girl but we could never agree on a boys name and then as the months went by and we didn't conceive those conversations just died so we haven't actually spoken about it in forever and to be fair I haven't actually thought about it in so long.

@candycrush2298 maybe this is where i have been going wrong all this time as ive only started using opks the last few months. Before i just went by glows prediction which is wayyyy out.

@Kaybobx LOL don't worry I used to do the same thing hahah, after the honeymoon phase of lets try naturally I said to hubby lets use my period app for ovulation and do it around then. In the beginning I didn't know there was a 5 day window and that sperm could live for 5 days so I was just timing it so we definitely did on the 'predicted ovulation day' later I entered the world of opks, LH surges and all these fancy things. I did loads of googling to understand originally I thought it was like a pg test where if there's two lines its go time and then whey kept getting darker or lighter I was like wtf is going on here and learnt how they worked from Dr Google and then when I was searching positive tests online so many people were getting super dark lines and mine never went like that so I kept switching brands I eventually found out that LH strips have a sensitivity attached to them as well and found 10miu ones that were OK but then the seller on ebay stopped making them and eventually now have found easy@home which are by far the best I have used.

So don't even feel bad it took me a long time to understand things the way I do hahahhaa. S

LOl that is true, OK will order it on Friday as if I order it now I fear it will arrive Saturday knowing my luck when hubby is home. (its second class shipping).

I also like Emily and yeah boy names are totally hard, I want easy names that will be easily found on a keyring whahahaha. Because my own is unusual I always felt left out growing up hahahaha.

@candycrush2298 @Kaybobx ooo I'll jump in on the baby naming bandwagon. So I want to try and find an Indian sounding english name. I've come up with quite a few boys names :- Aaron , Ciaran, Dylan but struggling with girls I quite like Sabrina, Sabina, Ella but not going down well with the hubby.

@Elakiya ooooh I love your choice of names. Does hubby not like any of them? What does he like?

@candycrush2298 He wants more traditional indian names like Sahana, Varsha, Ahana, Aksha for girls and he hasn't thought of a single boys name

@Elakiya and you don't like those names? I like Sahana. Just reminds me of the Disney Princess Jasmine for some reason hahaha.

Love the name choices @Elakiya Dylan was one of my choices for a boy actually. I also like Betsy and Tilly for a girl. Hubby isn't keen though! He actually chose our daughters name when she was born, shes called Isla.

Soooo im definitely ovulating. Just wiped and got tons of EWCM 😬 ekkk excited its happening so quickly after AF. I usually have to wait a week at least!!

So 2 days before ovulation is actually the highest chance of conceiving.

That would make sense if last month was in fact a chemical pg that I had because we did it two days before ovulation. I am 🤯

You guys are leaving me behind. You're nearly/already at your tww whereas I have a good week to go before anything :(. I hate my cycles. Honestly why can't they shorten and just be 28 days exactly! Last time I got my peak on CD 15/16/17 so hopefully if that's the same I should peak on Saturday and then I can join you ladies on the tww :D

Hey yep I'm cd9 today and it asked for a test. It's on low fertility as expected. Did a cheap opk to confirm.

@snapple21 hopefully it won't be too long and it will go to high. Mine wanted the full 10 tests even though I ovulated on Sunday so annoying lol!! And I used 6 last cycle so I only have 4 sticks left. Really hope I dont need to buy more and can just use the pg tests lol

@Kaybobx your opk looks like mine looks for quite a few days before I actually ovulate you know. I never have a faint line - it's just like yours for about a week before it gets strong!

@candycrush2298 i have read before that it actually takes the sperm 12 - 24hrs to reach the egg! I'm going again tonight 🤪 Maybe the maca root is actually starting to work after all haha. Do you think that could be making us have short cycles? Mine have always been really long until the last 2 cycles and also when i started taking it.

@Elakiya oh no, you need to change jobs lol. I also love the name Holly but a girl at work is called that so i just associate it with her so its a no no.

Ive just done another opk as i needed to pee bad. Its getting there!
