When is your next AF due?

@Kaybobx no no it will be all wonky for a while from what i see on other people's charts lol and then kind of stabilises after ovulation so hoping I will go high now stay high and it will look more normal lol.

AF is due between 8th-10th of August depending how long my cycle feels like being this month hahah. I am hoping for another 14day luteal phase which would make it a 26day cycle and AF would be due on the 10th. But I am being hopeful and saying that AF will not show this month 😁😁😁😁

@Kaybobx are you feeling positive and all ready for the new cycle to begin. When did you say you will start testing again? I saw you said you dont have many CB digitals if you don't want to fork out more money maybe just use the cheapies and then when you see you are very very close you use the CB would that work? Or does it need to find your estrogen increase before the LH surge?

@candycrush2298 so if your temp stays high you are likely pregnant and if it drops you aren't?
How confident are you feeling this month?

I'm going to start testing tomorrow. Glow says my ovulation day is 6th August (my birthday) but last cycle it came a week after my AF so who knows!
Im going to just use the cheapies and when really close use the last of the CB hopefully I'll get it by the third. Last cycle the second one i used i got the peak so fingers crossed its the same.

@Kaybobx no your temps rise regardless if you pregnant or not after ovulation as progesterone causes the rise in temperature so if there isnt a rise it means you didnt actually ovulate despite a positive OPK. If your temps stay high even the day AF is due then you could be pregnant if it drops the day or few days before AF is due then you're likely not pregnant. If it drops and then rises again that could be implantation so that's what I want to see hahaha want to see that drop and rise again.

I feel optimistic but not overly so. I guess from trying for so long its too difficult to be feel extremely confident but optimistic I am. We did it on all the right days and hubby and I said we will give it a bash tonight tmi but I think I am going to give him a BJ until he is about to come and then have sex otherwise its too long and we will likely give up hahahaha!

I dont know why but I still feel like by the end of this year we will be pg. Just a feeling or wishful thinking time will tell hahahah.

@Kaybobx as for your opks I think thats a great plan. 6th of August how nice would be so magical if you did peak the day before and ovulate on the 6th I feel like that will be a positive omen and would be so nice if you did fall pregnant this month.

Awe that's so great you feel you'll be PG this year. I really hope it happens for you soon.
I'm abit the same as you in regards that its hard to be too confident this month as each month we get that confidence and it gets knocked back. Its just like abit of a game now trying to conceive.
I've tried everything, just got to keep playing until i pass the level haha 🤣

@Kaybobx hahaha yeah we can figure this thing out together on BBT lol I also find it so interesting. I had no idea that our bodies do so much. I have learnt a lot during this TTC journey lol.

I know it feels like its a bit impossible to have the full confidence haha. I like that analogy I am going to use that from now on. Hahahah well then if we use cycles as levels I am on level 32 and I just need to save the princess dont know what level she is on hahaha but when I do that will mean a BFP hopefully not too many levels to go lol.

I agree though we have done so many things. Legs in the air. Menstrual cups. Bd'ng everyday, every other day, maca root, preconception vitamins, opks, tracking, bbt. Like I am not sure what else is out there. I am just not sold on eating certain foods to help hahahah I am sure it does work but I am a fussy eater 🤣🤣

Have you guys seen this before people are swearing by this saying they get better results testing for pregnancy late evening rather than FMU.

OK ladies... I am broken.... according to my BBT only I ovulated on Friday which is why Fertility Friend says I am 3dpo today. But according to my OPKs and monitor yesterday was ovulation.

I cant go based on CM because of all the BD'ng if I did go based on CM then Friday ovulation would be correct, but I can't tell you if it was really ewcm or semen.

I have gone to Dr Google and as per usual its conflicting advice same sites say OPKs may detect peak after ovulation has occurred. Most say ovulation occurs 12-36hours after peak. Some say follow BBT and some say follow OPKs.

Since this is my first month tracking BBT I am going to follow what I know and what I am familiar with which is OPKs and say today is 1dpo.

We BD'd enough to say that whichever is correct we should still be in the clear.

@candycrush2298 i think whichever app is right you have done more than enough BD'ing! Haha.

I did a OPK before bed last night and it was high! Not as dark as the control line but not far off. Is that normal 2 days after AF?
Glad we managed to BD yesterday morning just incase!!

Have you still got loads of PG tests? When will you start testing?
Ive got 10 cheapies and 2 FRERs 😊

@Kaybobx yeah I want to understand it all but don't think it matters either way think we covered all bases hahahah!!

And yes its totally normal for me to get a high two days after AF whahahaha!!! So yes I think its normal to get in there keep testing everyday to see if that was just a fluctuation or if it is getting darker and you actually close. Definitely think you should be bd'ng every second day. You did it yesterday so maybe tomorrow again if you can? See what todays OPKs look like then you can judge if you close or it was just a fluke.

Yes got loads of cheapies easy@home about 15/16 tests and some from Home Bargains the clear and simple 6days early which is 10miu and then the other think its Accu which don't think is as sensitive. So I am stocked up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 think I will start testing from next Monday as that would be 8dpo according to OPKs.

Oh ok thats good then. I've never done one straight after AF before. I'll do one in a minute and another when I'm back from work tonight. I have plenty to do 2 a day.
Yes will start BD tomorrow. Hubby is off work this week and i have tue-wed off so we can make a start haha. His semen test should be here today too!

Well whatever made you do one it seems like you made the right choice to do one if it is getting high already. Thats great its probably a good thing to do it twice a day if you getting highs already lol.

Oooooooh yay!! The test has to be done when he hasn't ejaculated for at least 2 days. So may want to hold off until your not in your fertile window as you need the swimmers more than the test. Unless last night was just a fluctuation then he can do it tomorrow hahah.

@candycrush2298 not going to lie that chart is very confusing! I remembered to temp this morning. Cd8 for me today. Still another 2 days before monitor wants tests from me!

@snapple21 I know right. Because everyone else's charts they get a dip the day of ovulation and then start to rise afterwards. Which makes sense why fertility friend says 3dpo but the monitor only found a peak on Saturday&Sunday and OPKs peaked Saturday so yeah extremely confusing.

Well done on remembering have you done it every day since AF? Have you been using OPKs already or not using them this month?

@candycrush2298 you know alot more than me and im a dr google addict too haha! This is only my 4th cycle of using OPKs and this forum so i do feel like ive wasted so much time.

Yes i did read that he needs to hold off for a few days. Will see how my opks look today and tomorrow and decide whether to do it after ovulation or before 😂

@Kaybobx whahaahaha!!! I also haven't been on the forums for long you girls was the first time I actually started chatting before I just used to read other people's threads. Usually old ones to answer questions about symptoms spotting I had whahahah. It took me a while to understand the OPKs I went through a lot of brands tested at the wrong times, interpreted them incorrectly and all sorts so only actually been using them correctly a few months as well hahaha. I must say though out of all the opks I have used these easy@home are my favourite. I like that you can add the pictures to the app as well. It gives a nice timeline of them progressing.

Lol yeah base it on today and tomorrow OPKs and see if you should do the test now or hold off for a while. Think that is the best plan.

I haven't used opk yet @candycrush2298 because I have never been close to ovulating this early. Gonna use them alongside the monitor I think from day 10.

@candycrush2298 oooo that does look a good app. There's similar on glow but its not as good, im going to switch i think!
I have all my OPKS in a book and i celotape them all next to each other lol.

@Kaybobx lol I have been sticking mine in my journal each day lol!! No idea why just felt like it hahahah!! I mean they don't even look as dark when they dried out so no idea why I do it lol!! The app at least shows them when they still "fresh" lol!!

I have accumulated quite a few apps now I used to only use flo so I use that one to put all my notes in on symptoms etc. The others I just log everything but don't add notes. Because I like the look of the BBT chart on Femometer and Fertility Friend but the easy@home shows both your LH progression and BBT on the chart which is nice and then the line progression of the OPKs which is also nice lol. So yeah have 4 apps 🤣🤣🤣 keeps me busy

@candycrush2298 ive just downloaded it and added all my temps and details in. I must say i like it! I'm going to ditch glow and use this one now. I can't be doing with lots of different ones haha!! I have a pretty chart like yours now 😊
I was going to use up all the opks i had but just brought some easy@home ones from Amazon to arrive tomorrow.
