5 failed rounds of IVF and I'm bloody preggers!!!!

Oh my god. I just have to tell SOMEONE.

We have had 5 failed rounds of IVF, the last one failed last year. Spent tens of thousands of pounds to no avail.

My period was late (which is standard really, it's all over the place at the moment) and I thought I'd just do a test so I could put the thought of being pregnant out of my mind and carry on waiting for AF to turn up.

And fuck me it was positive (excuse the language!!). I'm literally beside myself!! I have never had a BFP and was told to stop IVF, there was nothing more they could do.

It's very early, so praying all goes ok, but this is more than I've ever had before.

Fabulous news, congratulations!

I need fertility treatment to have my first and was told it would certainly be needed again if I wanted another. 13 months after DS was born I turned up pregnant with no medical help at all.

Oh my gosh, I have only just realised the dark line on the pink one is the test line, I thought the paler line was the test line and DH and I were a bit worried about it. You're right though, they are dark lines!

I'm just so amazed and in shock.

@nowlook I'm pretty sure the first day of my last period was 11th June - I track it pretty closely and record it. I say I'm pretty sure as I spotted for 4-5 days before my period, fun times.
