So sorry for being dumb but can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what 2ww stands for. Ive been pondering for 3 days now.

two week wait the time from ovulation until you can test to see if you are pregnant

could be longer or shorter than 2 weeks mine is 11 days for example

some impatient people test before the day AF is due (I know some people eh )

2 week wait - of course - now i feel even dumber

Some impatient people test 4 days before AF. I'm going to resist that this month though

My computer is down for the moment (bloody BT) so I am on my mums at the mo, but haven't had a chance to read through, very far.
DG I am getting some of that brown stuff too. Really thought AF would turn up this morn but no, still just brown.
I am going to hold out until saturday to test, too, but I reckon she will turn up for real before that

Then again, it could just be implantation??

I've had a BFP 4 days before AF is due though

Only yesterday I was thinking I hadn't seen you about for a while fairysnuff Hope BT sort your computer out soon.

Hope everyone is doing okay this morning.

Nothing to tell from me. I had cramps all day yesterday but my OPK was BFN so we'll have to see what today brings. CD 15 no symptoms waiting for OV.

Nothing from me either! Stronger cramps this morning, and still a bit of brown CM, could be like this for a couple more days before AF really shows.

brown CM but no AF DG sounds suspicous to me when did you do your last HPT? I think you should do another one tomorrow morning. Its sounds more like implantation than AF. Do you normally get brown CM a couple of days before AF? I do but thats because I have Endo apparently.

I keep getting really bad cramps which is very strange, they are really quiet strong as well.

haven't had this many days of brown cm pre-af. most af's this year have been full on heavy red b@st@rds (as was the last one after 41 days).

not going to test till saturday as i genuinely think AF is just being weird because it's such a long cycle, hormonal imbalance and such. if i wasn't ttc, i'm sure wouldn't think anything of it.

pixie just checked your cd on the other thread.sounds like you're gearing up for an ov soon. You on the opk's again? Drink loads of grapefruit juice to boost your ewcm!

Excitable - Ia m exactly the same about resisting glasses of wine. i am rubbish at saying no and really enjoy a wee glass at the end of the day .

Pixie-4 - LOL at getting down to it early. I made DH do the same yesterday and say with a pillow under me listening to the radio for 15 minutes afterwards trying to drink a cup of tea lying down and spilling it everywhere! I am CD 14 so we are practically cyclebuddies !

CD14 for me today (as I said already ) so poor DH is looking a little tired, but he's had excellent stamina so far . I'll be off on holiday for all of the 2WW, so if I am late I will be testing abroad if I am late (and will have to find a computer in the middle of the desert to log on and tell you lot one way or the other!)

OK I am going to start with a bang and ask a GROSS question...

Can a yeast infection be an early pregnancy sign???? I have one. I never have them. I may be clasping at straws but I thought it could be a sign (a rather nasty one).

What do you think?

Hi GG thats fab that you get to go on holidays for your 2ww, I went on holiday for the first week of my last 2ww and it passed the time sooo much quicker.

DG I hope you get the BFP on Saturday, fingers crossed for you.

I am using the OPK's again, I got a strong line last night but not strong enough to be a positive.

I've been getting awful cramps though yesterday and today. Like shooting pains and the're quiet strong taking my breathe away acctually but they aren't constant. Very strange

pixie they're not in your shoulder are they? shoulder tip pains could indicate an ectopic. hopefully you're just gearing up for a super egg. One the scopes out the sperm instead of waiting for them to come to her.

artichokes I think I read one lady here on MN got thrush everytime she got pg so she always knew what to look out for. but I don't think it's a common symptom, not to say that it isn't a symptom for you though!

DG - will definitely see you tomorrow if/when I find out where we are meeting . It's like a magical mystery tour. You will know it is me because I'll be the one with the red carnation reading a copy of a french novel

Nearly on the 2WW (I think!!).
Had a horrible evening me and DH had a big argument - does not happen often, but I am so so cross, it was over something so silly. He is under pressure at the minute but he should still not behave like a total to**er.
Sorry to rant on this thread but I just need to Scccrreeeaaammmm.
Anyway he's gone out to work again now so no BD tonight.

I have just got home so, like you Bucky I have had a non-stop day!

Am v of you guys meeting up - the question is, will you be talking cm, temps and boob soreness over your glasses of vino and totally worrying the other diners!? How funny would that be!! Its like jumping forward a few years in the friendship stakes - I talk about things with you guys that I still wouldn't say to some of my closest rl friends!!!

Although saying that, I have predicted that my SIL was pregnant each and every time and each time I have been correct - womens intuition or lucky guess?!

I'm cd25 and it has been really really really dragging this month. No PG symptoms although I occasionally imagine I feel sick which is usually after I've over eaten on crisps/chocolate/cake. I'm trying to wait until Sunday - day 28 before I test but I think AF will turn up.

Have a lovely afternoon those that are meeting up... I . I am off wk this week and DM has booked today off to 'spend' with us!! which enivetibly (sp!)means I get to drive her where she wants to go - Lovely.

On a brighter note my (.)(.) feel different today, sort of heavy and tender! (i am sure I am not imagining it) but it feels to early. Time will tell....
