Testing Around 11th July

Hey girls, as @juno231 pointed out, we were almost at 1,000 messages on our last testing thread, so thought we should set up a new one for anyone that hasn't got their BFP this month. Of course a few of you may still get your positives :)

I'm just going to tag anyone that has posted on the thread in the last 24 hours or so, but please feel free to tag others that I've missed out...

Of course this thread is based on a cycle of around 30days, so take the title with a pinch of salt as I'm sure some of us will be testing earlier and some of us later. I seem to be on track for a 33+ day cycle at the mo! xx

Thanks all! Bought some primrose and iron tables while stocking up on the 'feeling sorry for myself' snacks!

@Juno231 me too, other than cramps I don't feel any different now so part of me doesn't want to waste a perfectly good FRER to confirm what I already know 😂

How is everyone this evening? Sorry for the bfn and sprinkling baby dust to everyone! How are you @MintGreenLife im struggling to fight the urge, 16dpo promised myself to wait! Trying not to get my hopes up!

How many more days do you have to wait? I was going to wait until sunday, but I'm getting so frustrated with my endless LH surges that I think I'll give in and test tomorrow morn. How are you feeling? X

@MintGreenLife AF due today, but longest cycle is 34 days.. So Sunday will put me over that so holding out!!

Fingers crossed for you! Lest fatigued but dull cramping on and off how about you? Xx

Awh well done, not long to go now ☺️ I was getting twinges and a dull ache Monday-Tuesday, but today just feeling tired and a bit nauseous as well as super thirsty, could all just be PMS related though! X

AF arrived for me last night 😩 so that's me out this cycle! Goodluck to everyone still to test 🤞

Morning all ☺️ Did a test at 6am as couldn't hold on for a wee any longer. Was a BFN at 14DPO, so think that's me out. Just want AF to arrive so I can get on with my next cycle. I'm fairly certain I didn't ovulate this cycle, given the multiple LH surges and no temp spike. Best of luck to those that are still waiting to test xx

@notyetamumbuttrying I downloaded 'The impatient women's guide' last night, really enjoying it so far. Regret starting it on my phone though as I should have used the IPad! Oh well, glued to my phone as usual again!

@33Carr I'm just laughing at myself now saying I'm 14DPO and then going on to say I don't think I ovulated as that makes no sense 🤦🏻‍♀️ If I'm going on the biggest LH surge I had, which was the first, then AF would be due today. My last cycle was 30 days though, and at the moment I'm on CD34. I've been feeling like AF is coming for about a week now and it's making me feel pretty crappy. Got a sinking feeling that this may turn into a really long cycle though 😕 Hopefully I'll prove myself wrong! Sorry I'm on a right downer today 🙄 How are you feeling? Xx

@MintGreenLife Haha tbf I was questioning weather I actually did or not as I didn't get any EWCM this month, and I dont temp so cant go off that either. Oh well. I hope AF comes for you soon just so you know where you stand. What's the longest cycle you've ever had?

I'm feeling better today, wasn't in a good place yesterday, tried to distract myself with films but just couldn't get into them, was really upset and then OH was trying to cheer me up but just wasn't saying the right stuff. We had a bit of a tiff about it but fine again this morning. I feel for him cause when I get that like there's just no comforting me and I know he tries but he's just so insensitive sometimes. I have noticed since having the implant out that I'm so emotional on CD1!

@Smiling124 I think the impatient woman is a good one, she references loads of studies which is useful rather than just reading about what Polly from google did 3 years ago which is the route I was going down!

@MintGreenLife Which other books have you got your eyes on?

@33Carr to be honest I'm kind of wishing I wasn't temping, as I've felt endlessly frustrated this cycle, don't think it's always a good thing to know so much. Feel like maybe we should have just decided to DTD every other day and left it at that. I'm not sure to be honest. I wasn't particularly aware of my cycles as a teenager, and I was on the pill from 17 until April this year. I seem to recal having fairly regular cycles though, although I don't think I would have noticed if I was a few days late.

Ah bless you, that's tough. Have you explained to him that you find he can be a bit insensitive sometimes? It's so difficult as I feel like our partners have no idea how wrapped up in all of this we get, and how emotional it all is. I feel kind of similar today - I want to just chill on the sofa with a film or a good series, but feel like I will be restless and won't be able to focus 🙈 I hate that mood so much.

I'm looking at 'It Starts With the Egg' there's another one on Amazon, taking charge of your fertility, or something, but it's £25 so quite an investment 😂 X
