Anyone else 9DPO?

Hey guys, so I’m 9DPO today and I tested this morning with an IC and got a BFN. We used SMEP (mostly) this month, Preseed during the fertile week and ovulation tests, but I don’t think I’m pregnant. We’ve been trying for almost a year, and it hasn’t worked. Last June, I had a miscarriage after getting pregnant without trying at all. And now it just isn’t working. Oh.. I’ve been taking the Seven Seas trying for a baby pills this month too, even though I’ve forgotten to take them a few times.
I’m 9dpo today, and since this morning I’m getting dull cramps in my abdomen. It isn’t really in my lower abdomen either, although at some times it feels like it is. The cramps are mostly in the middle of my abdomen, just above and around my belly button area. I don’t have any other symptoms, except maybe tiredness. I’m always tired these days really early, but that may be because of how lazy I’ve become in this lockdown lol! I’m really bloated too, but I always become bloated for some reason after ovulation.
Is anyone else 9dpo today?

@Whilstwewait can you see colour on the test? I have AF like cramps though, so I can’t believe it! I feel like AF will start any second now. I have cramping in my lower right side too.

@Whilstwewait thank you so much, I’m so scared right now though firstly because it’s so faint, and secondly because of the cramping I’m having! 😔

@dreamerkr definitely looks blue! Congrats!!! So happy for you ☺️ I’ve had lots of af like cramping and looking at other threads it seems pretty normal for early pregnancy 👍🏼

@CocoaN I just can’t believe it though! In a few days it will be one year since my miscarriage, and we’ve been trying on and off for the last year. I can’t believe it if it’s true. Is your cramping in the middle of your stomach? And you’re 11DPO too today?

@dreamerkr cramping is definitely normal and your test looks strong for a clear blue. Try and relax easier said than done i know.

Yes tested cant really see anything so definitely wasnt anything on my friday test or would have progressed by now. Ive never got this far without a lot of spotting though. Just had a tiny streak of light brown and then one dot of pink yesterday and AF style cramps but only for like 5 mins.

What's everyone's CM like? Ive heard people normally have quite a lot with a positive but others have nothing and im proper dry so think probably AF coming xx

@dreamerkr I feel the same, I had a miscarriage that lasted from January to March with multiple scans, medical management twice and lots of false hope so it does feel too good to be true! One minute I think ‘this is it!! It’s finally happening to me!’ Then I think the worst and remember what happened last time. But I’m just trying to keep positive and accept yes I am pregnant now and I can’t control the future! Yes lots of cramping in middle of the stomach so much so that I thought AF was going to come early, yesterday I had none but today intermittently. Yes I’m 11dpo but I do think I might be further along as my app shifted my ovulation date by about 3 days so I would’ve actually been around 13/14 dpo

@Whilstwewait maybe you ovulated late? And fingers crossed for you! Perhaps the streak of light brown could have been implantation bleeding? Last year before my miscarriage when I found out I was pregnant, I had weird light brown spotting for a few hours which I had no idea what it was at the time. It turned out to be implantation bleeding! Hopefully it’s the same for you ☺️
I’ve heard the same too, that before a positive you usually will have a lot of CM, but I’m really dry at the moment. Last month I thought I was pregnant and had way more symptoms than this month, and I had SO much CM the day before my period started.

@CocoaN I’m exactly the same! The line on my Clearblue is surely faint but it’s blue. There’s colour to it, it’s positive. I know that, but I can’t believe it. I won’t believe it, no matter how hard I try. I was getting slightly excited earlier but only very slightly, because I keep remembering what happened last time. I want to cry and be excited. I don’t want to tell anyone about it yet, because I don’t even believe it myself and I won’t until the lines get darker! Just half an hour ago, I had AF type cramps and thought I was about to start early! I regret testing early haha. It would have been so much easier if I missed a period and then tested!

Do you mind if I join? I'm only 3/4dpo but similar to you! I got pregnant before without trying around two years ago now which ended in miscarriage. We've been trying for around 8/9 months with no luck. I had to have a d&c due to complications which I'm worried has prevented future pregnancies somehow..
We tried SMEP and preseed for the first time this month, and me and DP have both been taking vitamins daily and hoping it works this month.. I'm feeling fairly hopeful.
I've also thought about seeing a doctor but worried they'll send me away because of my age. I'm also 24! Looking at your test photos though it's looking really good for you I think 🤞🏻 xx

@CheeseSammich hey! Are you trying for your first too? And have you had tests done after your D&C? My m/c happened naturally, but I was wondering too over the past year if it somehow damaged me in some way which is why I’m having difficulty getting pregnant. Fingers crossed for you! I also used SMEP (kinda) and Preseed this month, and it was my first month taking the Seven Seas trying for a baby tablets. It was my first month taking folic acid properly too, which I know is really silly and lazy of me!

I’m worried right now because I’ve woken up with AF type cramping again. I’m due tomorrow.

@dreamerkr it’s so hard to accept isn’t it! I dreamt last night that af arrived and woke up in a panic 😭 I’ve told my husband and my mum (I’m very close with my mum and she knew all about my previous miscarriage so wanted her to know) but I won’t be telling anyone else until at least 12 weeks, fingers crossed I get that far 🤞🏼 How you feeling this morning?

@CocoaN I want to make sure first, so I’m waiting for my period to get late and then I’m gonna tell my husband and most likely Mum too. I don’t want to tell anyone else until 12 weeks either, fingers crossed I get to that point. It’s so scary! I’m feeling okay, I tested this morning again using Clearblue and the line still looks faint and the same, not any darker. But I tested 13 hours after yesterday’s test. I just hope by tomorrow the line will be darker if AF doesn’t show. x

@dreamerkr it’s just all so scary isn’t it?! It’s amazing how some women get pregnant accidentally and have perfect pregnancies but some of us have a rougher journey. Just gotta keep positive 😊 Fingers crossed for our tests this week 🤞🏼😁

@dreamerkr no I never had any tests after the d&c. Yeah it is so worrying and I can understand because I've been thinking the same thing ever since. There's a chance that a d&c can cause scarring and prevent pregnancies. I know it is very unlikely but it still niggles at the back of my mind. I've been thinking about seeing my GP and requesting tests to see if there is any scarring but for whatever reason I'm so nervous to! I've been taking seven seas too along with some other vitamins. Has your husband been taking anything? I think selenium and zinc help with male fertility xx

@dreamerkr me too 🙈 I have run out of frers so tested on a clearblue instead and got a blue line (although was quite faint so internally screaming cos I’m a crazy woman 😂) x

@dreamerkr thanks. Im actually not feeling too bad. A bit emotional but I've been a lot worse. Work has been a good distraction. I wouldn't expect the blue to be darker after just 13 hours. Think it doubles every 48.

@CheeseSammich you should definitely tell your GP to give you some tests. Hopefully there’ll be nothing wrong, but get them done ☺️
Nope, my husband hasn’t been taking anything, and honestly the seven seas pills are amazing. If I’m actually pregnant this month, it’s all because of those! xx

I took a Clearblue digital which says not pregnant but I know those aren’t as sensitive. I took an ‘Answer’ test which was the first I took that had a hint of a line, the first pics I posted on here. That’s quite a bit darker than before so I’m relieved about that! I still feel like AF will show though because of my cramping, it’s so scary! I’ve run out of FRER and Clearblue so I took the Answer test which is kinda similar (looks very similar) to FRER. I’ll attach a pic xx

@Whilstwewait aww, I totally understand how you’re feeling! It sucks when each month there’s only one line. 😭 fingers crossed for you for this month though! New cycle, try SMEP with Preseed and the Seven Seas trying for a baby pills too. It was my first month taking those and I only started them on CD7 after my period ended.

@dreamerkr I'd say it's looking really good for you! I'd be happy with that to be honest. You're right digital tests really aren't as sensitive. And the af type cramping i think is really normal in early pregnancy. Best of luck to you!!

When will you start testing? I think you should definitely wait until the day after your missed period so you don’t go mental like me 🤣 x
