Hey everyone! I'm currently on CD16 and am 1DPO.

I thought I would create a group that everyone can join (I know there's a lot out there but thought I'd start one so people can join who are in the same time frame as me)

This is our first cycle after a miscarriage at 5 weeks so hoping that we get our rainbow baby 🌈 👶🏼

Feel free to join, tell me your stories, let's get through this 2WW wait together!! lol!

@Nannon145 well done for not reaching for the tests this morning!! I think it helps that I only have IC in the house and I always like to test with a First Response first. Really hoping the cramps are implantation 🤞🏻

@RosiePosies so sorry AF came 😔 sending baby dust your way for next month!

Not a lot going on here today. Tiny bit of nausea mid afternoon when I was hungry after a tiny lunch but that’s nothing out of the ordinary really. It’s so hard not to read into everything and make symptoms out of things that are actually always there, you’re just maybe not usually so in tune with. Obviously stupidly hopeful though. I feel very non-pregnant if that’s a thing. Ugh.

Keeping everything crossed for some more BFP’s on the thread soon 🤞🏻

SarahTTC2020 · 04/06/2020 19:20

@emvy I'm the same, getting afternoon nausea but not sure if it's symptom spotting now!
When are you due af? Mines not til 11th

Sachertorten · 04/06/2020 19:27

@SarahTTC2020 snap! My AF due June 10. It's my CD 21 today. Doing yoga and meditations so I don't test unless AF late.

SarahTTC2020 · 04/06/2020 19:48

@Sachertorten I'm cd36 lol - long cycle club!

Nannon145 · 04/06/2020 20:54

I'm really tempted to take the First Response tomorrow morning, I'll be 11DPO. I feel like I just wanna know if it's negative so I can stop getting my hopes up

SarahTTC2020 · 04/06/2020 21:16

@Nannon145 wait for AF!! You can do it, if you do it and it's bfn you still won't know for sure xx

MrsSam88 · 04/06/2020 21:19

My AF is due wednesday, I’m 8dpo today I’ve had a few very sharp pains today sort of above my hip middle/left side, now I have mild cramping and sore boobs like AF is on its way Sad

spooner1 · 04/06/2020 22:10

@Nannon145 we're on the same DPO 😊After my silly early test BFN yesterday...I'm going try hold out testing again till AF due Monday/Tuesday 🤞🏻

emvy · 04/06/2020 22:39

@SarahTTC2020 I’m due AF on the 7th, currently 10DPO. Hope your nausea is a good sign!

@Nannon145 noooo you won’t know for sure, wait wait wait. At least until 13DPO, then last possible implantation day would’ve happened.

Well I think I’m actually out anyway ladies. Last month, which is the only month I have to reference due to cycles only just returning after breastfeeding, I spotted for a few days before I got AF and low and behold, spotting has started.

I actually felt not at all like AF was on her way - no cramps, backache or headaches but now that I’ve seen the spotting I feel like I have really strong cramps😂 ah man. Well, I’ll keep you updated if this spotting by some miracle doesn’t turn into AF but pretty sure it will. Will continue to pop back and see how you’re all doing anyway!

emvy · 04/06/2020 22:40

@MrsSam88 hopefully just your body adjusting, not out until AF arrives!

Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 09:03

Couldn't resist testing so ended up just using one of the Home Bargains cheap ones I've got in the house. Resisted using the FRER.

Got a BFN! I do think I'm out this month now. I think I got a positive on one of them last month at 11DPO

glasses2020 · 05/06/2020 09:35

Nannon, me too!! I used a first response today and BFN, I am 12 DPO. I feel really low, how are you feeling? X

Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 10:09

@glasses2020 I'm feeling a bit rubbish - just the thought of not being pregnant makes me feel sad because I want it so so so bad and was really hoping that this cycle would be my cycle.

But then also thinking, was it too much to ask for to fall pregnant straight after a miscarriage? So kind of expected too 😫

OP posts:
Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 10:14

@glasses2020 also in the back on my mind that I'm only 11DPO and I'm sure the home bargains ones only detect 25mlu so could still be too early

Hi! I hope it’s okay to join in.

I’m in the dreaded 2ww and feeling incredibly negative about it.

I was ttc with an election eleven years ago. He had a very low sperm count, and it never happened.

I really think it’s caused a lot of ptsd 😅

My partner and I are in our first cycle. Had the clear blue digital opk, managed three time’s in the five fertile days, but it just seemed more like a chore, so probably went in too militant.

Af due 16th/17th June. It’s my 33rd birthday on the 16th so would be an amazing present, but for some reason o have no believe it’s happened.

I even had to stop myself buying a thermometer earlier, because I had to remind myself that technically there is a chance i get my bfp.

I’m only 3/4dpo at the moment. Had some sharp almost stitch like pains lower left pelvic side yesterday, which I know means nothing, but ugh.

So yes, I hope you don’t mind me attacking you with my crazy here 😂

summerdays1234 · 05/06/2020 10:42

Hello, hope you don't mind me joining in, I'm new to Mumsnet. This is my first month TTC and I am now on day 33 since the start of my last period. My previous cycles have all been 27,26,23,28,27 and so it is longer than normal. My app said I should have come on on Saturday and it is usually pretty accurate. I felt cramps last week but my period didn't arrive. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was definitely negative. Do you think there's any way I could be pregnant or my cycle is just long this month? I don't really have any symptoms, although i have had a bit of an upset stomach but I think I'm convincing myself in my head! Thanks so much for any advice!

Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 11:34

@Sansa87 hey!!! Don't worry. I think TTC drives us all crazy because we just want it so much! 2WW is the worst time, I am so rational before it like 'I won't google anything' 'I won't symptom spot' 'I won't test early' and just turn into a crazy lady as soon as it arrives 🤣🤣🤣

@summerdays1234 hey! Your cycle could be longer this month if you ovulated a bit later than normal. Maybe test again in a couple of days if AF hasn't arrived?

OP posts:
Sansa87 · 05/06/2020 11:49

@Nannon145 yes! I was certain I was not going to symptom spot, but that first twinge I felt, one I probably get every month, suddenly I was searching for any little hint it could be something 😂

My google search history is something else right now.

Hopefully this is a lucky thread for all of us, with plenty of baby dust!

Razberry · 05/06/2020 12:12

Hi guys, new to Mumsnet, just wanted to say "hi". First cycle TTC and I'm already overwhelmed and symptom spotting like crazy. It's stressful! Before TTC I was like: ah let's just see, no pressure, when it happens, it happens. But now I'm turning pretty obsessive Smile.

I will never ask any couple again when they will have kids, because you never know what's going on in the background! So much pressure on women and couples. I worry so much about my own fertility, it's insane. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and wish everyone good luck!

Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 12:44

@Sansa87 me too!! Fingers crossed!!

@Razberry welcome!! Completely agree. You don't understand until you start TTC yourself how much stress comes with it!

GVR0510 · 05/06/2020 12:47

@Razberry Hi Smile - This is my first month TTC for baby no.2 and I'm exactly the same as you. I went back on the app where I noted the symptoms I had before getting a BFP with baby no.1 and I don't have those symptoms this time round so not sure what to think. Try not to worry! Wishing you the best of luck too!

@Sansa87 I know what you mean about it feeling a chore!! I'm getting so confused with the OPK. I use the advanced clearblue one (not sure if you use this one) but does the static smiley face mean ovulation is happening now?! I'm hoping this is a lucky thread too.

Hope everyone is ok!

MrsSam88 · 05/06/2020 12:57

Hi! So I’m 9dpo today I did a test as soon as I got up, I’m sure there’s a very faint line. DH is very underwhelmed and doesn’t believe I’m pregnant. I know it’s still very early and things can go wrong but right now that test says pregnant doesn’t it?

2WW - join in!!!!!!!
Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 13:01

@MrsSam88 yep that's definitely a positive test at the moment, congratulations!!!

OP posts:
Nannon145 · 05/06/2020 13:41

@MrsSam88 can I ask what test is it that you used?

Sansa87 · 05/06/2020 13:42

@MrsSam88 congratulations!!!!!!
